A memorial service for Bonnie I. Turner, 74, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Sam Harton officiating.

Mrs. Turner died Sunday, Aug. 18 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 13, 1928 to Ernest C. and Ida Kraiker Nebelong. She was a graduate of Frankfurt High School in Philadelphia, Pa., and was the A.A.U. National women’s tumbling champion in 1943 and 1944.
Survivors include one son, Wayne N. Turner of Leesburg, Ga.; two daughters, Barbara J. Lee of Cullman, Bonnie Rathke of Greeley, Colo.; brother, Ernest Clifford Nebelong Jr., of Hilltown, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Barbara Adams, Joshua Rathke, Heather Lee.
George L. Hale
Funeral services for George L. Hale, 88, of McEwen, Tenn. were Monday, Aug. 19, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. David Deavers officiating, with burial in New Hope No. 1 Cemetery.

Mr. Hale died Saturday, Aug. 17, at Waverly Health Care in Waverly, Tenn. He was born May 29, 1914. He was a dairyman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Julia Crider Hale; his wife, Dortha Hale; and his brother, Elbert Hale.
Survivors include a son, George Marlin (Louise) Hale of McEwen, Tenn.; a daughter, Sharon Ann Hale (John) Faircloth of Winter Haven, Fla.; three brothers, Buel Hale of Cullman, Marvin Hale of Decatur and Fred Hale of Gardendale; two sisters, Eddith Lee Hassett of Vincent and Eva Mae Law of Mt. Olive; and two grandchildren, John Carl Faircloth and Crystal Ann Faircloth.
Visitation was Sunday.
Vivian Voties Martin
Funeral services for Vivian Voties Martin, 93, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Phil Young and Mac Buttram officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin died Saturday, Aug. 17, at HealthSouth Metro West Hospital. She was born May 2, 1909 in Cullman County to John R. and Caldona Ballinger Hawkins. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry W. Martin; her daughter, Helen Martin; two brothers, Guy Hawkins and Ralph Hawkins; and two sisters, Thelma Haynes and Era Stanley.
Survivors include a son, Byron (Rose Marie) Martin of Cullman; a daughter, Katherine (Buck) Howse of Fairview; six grandchildren, Chris Martin, Melanie Martin, Terry Howse, Eddie Howse, Mark Howse, and Diane Howse Lyrene; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday.
Willie Clyde McGlothin
Funeral services for Willie Clyde McGlothin, 76, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002 at Sandlin Chapel, Wanda Banks officiating, with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Mr. McGlothin died Saturday, Aug. 17, at his residence. He was born May 20, 1926 in Dyer County, Tenn., to Wesley and Rosa Lee McGlothin. He was a retired steelworker from U.S. Steel after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II and was a bronze star recipient, a lifetime member of the American Legion, Post 100 in Hobart, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Oscar Eugene and James McGlothin; a sister, Orthel Hudson; two daughters, Mary Ann McGlothin and Elizabeth Ann Agee; and two grandsons, Jeremy Agee and David Taylor Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Etta Jean McGlothin; three sons, Thomas Agee, James (Emie) McGlothin, Leslie McGlothin; five daughters, Margaret (Charles) Hufkens, Melissa Baughman, Rose McGlothin, Wanda Hefner, Linda (Richard) Sipes; a brother, Eutran (Ruby) McGlothin of Portage, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday.
Willie Dwight Harris
Funeral services for Willie Dwight Harris, 49, of Geneva, Ill. will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday Aug. 23, 2002 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, the Rev. David Hill officiating, with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Mr. Harris died Friday, Aug. 16 at Delnor Community Hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1953 in Cullman to Leonard and Eva Smith Harris. He was a member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama and was a participant in Native American Dancing for the tribe. His tribal name was White Cloud. He was employed at American Eagle Airlines at O’Hare Airport for 13 years. He started the Local No. 571 Union and was president of the Union for many years. While living in Chicago and Wood Dale he worked as a paramedic in Schiller Park for 10 years. In 1997 he was invited to attend the Presidential Inauguration of President William Jefferson Clinton in Washington, D.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include a sister, Sue (Richard) Forbes of Geneva, Ill.; 10 nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Martha Delatha Grace
Funeral services for Martha Delatha Grace, 79, of Hanceville, formerly of Jasper, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 21, 2002 at Kilgore-Green Chapel, Trueman G. Davis officiating, with burial in Boldo Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Grace died Sunday, Aug. 18 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Estel Farris Allred; her husband, Marvin Grace; a sister, Blanche Dill; and two brothers, Arvil Allred and Jack Allred.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcella (Trueman) Davis of Hanceville; a son, Jay (Dianne) Grace of Jasper; six grandchildren, Darlene (Darrin) Rickard of Kentucky, Debra (Rodney) Dulz of Hanceville, Geff (Polly) Davis of Tuscaloosa, Sandy (Stephen) Sides, Susan Grace, Jimmy (Tasha) Grace, all of Jasper; six great-grandchildren, Cody Rickard, Greg Dulz, Sarah Davis, Kayla Noles, Micah Noles, Savannah Sides; five sisters, Addie Knoles, Reba Grace and Tranny McGowen of Jasper, Gwen Mayes of Carbon Hill, Margaret Smothers of Etheridge; and three brothers, Carl Allred and O’Neil Allred of Jasper, George Allred of Georgia.

Mr. Reynolds died Tuesday, Aug. 20 at Hanceville Nursing Home. He was born in Alabama on Dec. 18, 1932 to Julius B. and Macy Brown Reynolds. He was a home building construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Buel, J.C., Woodrow and Paul Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Reynolds; and a sister, Darlene Redding.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Boyd Jackson Drake

Mr. Drake died Monday, Aug. 19 at his residence. He was born on March 2, 1913 to Johnny and Iowa Holmes Drake. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Trischel Couch Drake; a son, Will Shay Drake; a brother, Martin Drake; and two sisters, Tressie Moon and Theresa Wilhite.
Survivors include a daughter, Clariece (James “Snag”) Howse of Decatur; five brothers, H.H. “Squirrel” Drake of Cullman, Homer Drake of Ohio, Alta Drake, Verlon Drake and Talmadge Drake all of Vinemont; three sisters, Eres Smith, Mozelle Wilhite and Imogene Lawrence all of Vinemont; five grandchildren, Kirk Stricklin, Stanley Howse, Elaine Drake, Wanda Drake and Tasha Flanigan; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnston died Saturday, Aug. 17 in Hanceville. She was born in Cullman on May 25, 1915 to Robert F. and Armanda E. Maze Haynes.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Howard L. Johnston of Hanceville; a daughter, LeSabre (Don) Hoit; a son, H. Leon Johnston II; two brothers, Earney H. Haynes and Silas B. Haynes; and two grandchildren, Stacey M. Hoit and Miranda Johnston.

Ms. Eidson died Monday, Aug. 19 in Cullman. She was born in Cullman County on Feb. 20, 1914 to William Edgar and Lela Hollaway Bannister.

Clycie Claudy Blalock

Mr. Blalock died Friday, Aug. 16. He retired from Magic City Trucking and formerly worked for Pullman Standard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Sarah Blalock; his sister, Flora Ellison; and a grandson, Adam J. Blalock.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Joan Blalock; five sons, Jerry Blalock, Kerry Blalock, Terry Blalock, Perry Blalock, and Steve Blalock; three daughters, Sherry B. Siekman, Deanna B. Parr and Darlene Williams; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thurman Blalock, Herman Blalock and Bobby Blalock; and a sister, Clytee Willoughby.
