Funeral services for Eulalah M. Moore, 73, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Revs. Bob Kurtz, Floyd Cline and Chris Hester officiating, with burial in Union Grove Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Moore died Sunday, Aug. 25 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 27, 1928 to Hugh and Ruth Hendrix Murphree. She was an instrument technician.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a stepson, Michael Glenn Moore of Casper, Wyo.; a daughter, Lanita (Jerry) Woody of Cullman; three sisters, Audie Sue Kelsoe of Blountsville, Louise White of Minor and Tula Mae White of Attalla; two step-grandchildren, Micah June Brown and Jodi Allen; ; a step-great-grandchild, Riley Elanor; and a special friend, Fritz Teichmiller.
Visitation was Monday.
Flora D. Baggett
Funeral services for Flora D. Baggett, 90, of Cullman will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating, with burial in Baldwin Heights Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Baggett died Sunday, Aug. 25 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 3, 1911 to Abraham and Leola Petty Tucker. She was a homemaker and a member of Baldwin Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Franklin Baggett; a brother, Mitchell Tucker; and four sisters, Opal Ervin, Ruth Tolbert, Mildred Turner, and Sylvia McWhorter.
Survivors include her husband, Buford Baggett of Cullman; three daughters, Kathryn Baggett Jefferies and Sheron Baggett (Billy) Lovell of Cullman and Jeanine Baggett (Albert) Robinson of Nesmith; a sister, Rachel Wilson of Cullman; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday.
Bethel Skipper Shaw
Funeral services for Bethel Skipper Shaw, 82, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Lang officiating, with burial in Ashby Cemetery south of Montevallo.

Mrs. Shaw died Saturday, Aug. 24 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 30, 1919 to Robert and Annie Hood Skipper. She was an X-ray technician. She was a member of the first graduating class of X-ray Technology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was a member of the American Society of Radiologists/Technologists and the Order of the Easter Star and was past worthy matron in Pell City.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Floyd M. Shaw of Hanceville; a son, Robert E. Shaw of Clute, Texas; three sisters, Flora Rudolph, Ethel Barnett and Gail Keller; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday.
Edna Johnson
Funeral services for Edna Johnson, 80, of Hanceville will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002 at Hanceville Funeral Home, the Rev. James Robertson officiating, with burial in Garden City Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson died Sunday, Aug. 25 at University Hospital. She was born April 12, 1922 in Blount County to Clark and Nate Graves. She was a sewing machine operator.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include three stepchildren, Anita Booth, Joey Johnson and Lori Johnson; a son, Steve (Mary) Bradley of Hanceville; and a daughter, Edith (Curtis) Chapman of Hanceville.
Visitation was Monday.
Herbert Edward Basenberg
Funeral services for Herbert Edward Basenberg, 89, of Hanceville was Monday, Aug. 26, 2002 at Hopewell Baptist Church, the Rev. Trueman Davis officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. The body lay in state from 1 to 2 p.m.

Mr. Basenberg died Saturday, Aug. 24 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born Sept. 11, 1912 in Cullman County to Mart and Bethlee Jacobs Basenberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Walter, Claude and Gilbert Basenberg; and a sister, Pauline Crider.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie Lee Tanner Basenberg of Hanceville; two daughters, Barbara (Joel) Kennemur of White City and Bonnie (Lamar) Cupp of Cullman; a brother, Albert (Martha) Basenberg of Cullman; five grandchildren, Donna (Tom) Anderson, Pan (Greg) Ashley, Rhonda Kennemur, Cindy (Tom) Babbit, and Brian (Tonya) Mattox; two step-grandchildren, Patrick (Tammy) Cupp and Jason Cupp; eight great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and 18 nephews and nieces.
Price Riddle
Funeral services for Price Riddle, 68, of Moreland will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002 at New Home Baptist Church in Moreland, Larry Dyer and Rex Riddle officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Nichols Funeral Home of Addison is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Riddle died Sunday, Aug. 25 at Russellville Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Riddle of Moreland; a daugher, Rence Riddle of Moreland; a son, Randy Riddle of Moreland; a brother, Talmadge R. Riddle of Houston; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Michele Turner Dalton
Funeral services for Michele Turner Dalton, 33, of Decatur will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002 at Shelton Funeral Home, the Rev. Hal Daigre officiating, with burial in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore.

Mrs. Dalton died Saturday, Aug. 24, at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham. She was born Oct. 12, 1968 in Limestone County to Winford and Christina Green Turner. She was a lifelong resident of Decatur and attended Austin High School. She worked as a security guard for Burns Security.
Survivors include a son, John Patrick Dalton Jr. of Decatur; two daughters, Haley Vanesa Dalton and Autumn Grace Turner, both of Decatur; her parents, Winford and Christina Turner, both of Decatur; three brothers, Winford Turner Jr., Arthur Clayton Turner and Scott Allen Turner, all of Decatur; and her grandparents, Harry Turner and Mary Turner, both of Athens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Whitt, Sonny Turner, Steve Dalton, Shannon Woods, Arthur Green e and Brad Sides.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Sister Martina Schaefers
Funeral services for Sister Martina Schaefers, 88, of Cullman will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002 at Sacred Heart Monastery, Fr. Marcus Voss officiating, with burial in Sacred Heart Monastery Cemetery.

She died Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Sacred Heart Monastery. She was born in Cullman on April 15, 1914 to William Francis and Mary Antonia Hochhousen Schaefers. She was a teacher and administrator.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sisters, Julianne Watson and Rosemary Sandlin and her Benedictine Sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Infirmary Fund of Sacred Heart Monastery or the City of St. Jude, Montgomery.
Visitation will be from 4:45 to 8 p.m. today at the monastery.
Mary Elizabeth ‘Mae’ Beilhart

Mrs. Beilhart died Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Woodland Village Health Care. She was born Aug. 18, 1903.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice Wilson of West Des Moines, Iowa; five step-daughters, Beatrice Ponder of Hanceville, Bertha Howse and Bonnie Jean Harnden both of Gardendale, Bena Mason of Baltimore, Md., and Berlene Fortner of Phil Campbell; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Wanda Ann Conder
Memorial services for Wanda Ann Conder, 52, of Cullman will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002 at Missionary Grove Baptist Church, Jimmy McClendon officiating.

Mrs. Conder died Wednesday, Aug. 28 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1950 in Long Island, N. Y. to Franklin Christian and Ann Helen Michna Merritt. She was a seamstress and a member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church. She was a Women’s Missionary Union director, youth leader, and Children in Action leader. She volunteered for the Senior Assistance Program at the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Franklin Christian Merritt Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Conder of Cullman; a son, Steve Jr. (Julia) Conder of South Carolina; two sisters, Jo (Jimmy) James of Cullman and Amy Herman of Ft. Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mathew Conder and Abbygail Conder; two nephews, Steven Wayne James of Cullman and Eric Conder; and two nieces, Tracy Corbet and Denise Herman of Florida.
Hershel Melvin Waldrep
Funeral services for Hershel Melvin Waldrep, 73, of Cullman were Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Crane Hill, Ray Key officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Waldrep died Monday, Aug. 12 at Cullman Health Care Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlsie Lorene Waldrep; and his parents, Robert and Sarah Waldrep.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Waldrep of Decatur and Judy Hall of Cullman; three sons, Terry Waldrep, Ronnie Waldrep and Marlon Waldrep, all of Cullman; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Alton Waldrep of Cullman.
Robert Lee Still
Funeral services for Robert Lee Still, 55, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, with burial in Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mr. Still died Wednesday, Aug. 28 at his residence. He was born May 19, 1947 in Alabama to Dewey and Jewell Farley Still. He was a self-employed in sales.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Johnny Still.
Survivors include his mother; a brother, Frank Still of Hokes Bluff; three sisters, Wilma Cleckley of Clanton, Hilda Wright of Huntsville and Teresa Grizzard of Trussville; 11 nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was Friday.
