Services for Wilburn Clines Smith, 71, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, the Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating, with burial in Baldwin Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Smith died Saturday, Oct. 5 at his home. He was born Dec. 30, 1930, in Jefferson County. He owned Wilburn C. Smith Produce at Baldwin for many 30 years. He was a member of Cullman Masonic Lodge No. 421 and was a Shriner. He was a member of the Army and served during the Korean war.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gid and Mandy I.B. Mathis Smith; one brother; and two sisters.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, JoEvelyn Smith of Cullman; one niece; and two nephews.
Visitation was Monday.
Jennifer Mason Hawkins
Services for Jennifer Mason Hawkins, 29, of Joppa will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 at Union Hill First Congregational Methodist Church, Jeff Rowan and Fred Prosser officiating, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state an hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Hawkins died Monday, Oct. 7 at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1973 to Douglas N. and Melba Dean Harper Mason. She was a member of Union Hill First Congregational Methodist Church and was a sales representative of Humphries Farm Turf Supply.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her husband, Andy Hawkins of Joppa; father and step-mother, Doug and Delphia Mason of Union Grove; sister, Cindy (Bo) Purser of Joppa; grandmothers, Estelle Harper of Joppa, Jewell Mason of Arab; mother-in-law, Helen Hawkins of Arab; special aunt and good friend, Debra Nix of Joppa; and three nieces and nephews, Magon Whited, Britney Whited, Zackary Purser.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Shirley Faye Leonard Smith
Services for Shirley Faye Leonard Smith, 64, of Shelbyville, Tenn., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at Gowen Smith Chapel, Wayne Kent officiating, with burial in Oak Level Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullman.

She died Sunday, Oct. 6 in Chattanooga. She was a native of Cullman and member of Oak Level Baptist Church. She was secretary for Tull Metal in Atlanta. She was the daughter of James Ottis Keese and Christine Williams Keese Neff.
Survivors include a son, Charles A. Leonard of Somerville; her mother, Christine (Sam) Neff of Shelbyville; two brothers, James Keese of Chattanooga and Glenn Keese of Plant City, Fla.; a step-sister, Virginia Dean of Keysville, Fla.
Visitation was Monday.
Curtis Raymond Fox
Services for Curtis Raymond Fox, 91, of Springville, formerly of Blountsville, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at Lemley Chapel in Oneonta, the Revs. Marvin Nobles and Carlos Barnes officiating, with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Oneonta.

Mr. Fox died Saturday, Oct. 5. He was born in Texas, the son of John Anderson and Mary McEver Fox. He retired as engineering assistant with the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a Masonic member for over 50 years. Although he lived in Springville he was a former resident of Blountsville and served terms as mayor and city clerk of Blountsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise V. Fox; two sons, John R. Fox and Ernie Fox; and a grandson, Raymond Austin Fox II.
Survivors include three sons, Raymond A. (Anna) Fox Sr. of Springville, James Curtis (Delilah) Fox of Vinemont and Gary (Billie) Fox of Springville; five grandchildren, James L. Fox and Tammy R. (Keith) Jenkins of Decatur, Kellie R. (Larry) Delbridge of Woodstock, Ga., Jason L. (Sunshine) Fox of Madison and Toby T. (Sonya) Fox of Vinemont; 10 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Marion L. Fox of Springville.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Fox, Toby Fox, Larry Delbridge, Chris Fox, Keith Jenkins and Jason Fox.
Willaim Joseph Viney
Services for Willaim Joseph Viney, 41, of Warrior will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at Messmer-Goodwin Chapel, Carl Nuss officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mr. Viney died Sunday, Oct. 6. He was a veteran of the Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Viney.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Viney of Warrior; his mother, Jean Viney Kinard (Talmadge) of Birmingham; a sister, Paula Murphy of Denver; and a step-son, Barry Bratton of Corner.

Mrs. Loyd died Sunday, Oct. 6 at Medical Center Blount. She was born in Cleburne County, Ga., to John Morgan and Mary Elizabeth Lumpkin Smith. She was a homemaker and member of Mtn. Grove Baptist Church near Blountsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Curtis “Bud” Loyd.
Survivors include two sons, James (Doris) Loyd of Allgood and Paul (Reba) Loyd; a daughter, Sharon (Thomas) Timlin of Lebanon, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Folds died Tuesday, Oct. 8 at her residence. She was born Feb. 26, 1946 in Dekalb County. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Clistie Berry.

Funeral services for Audrey Ayers Little, 81, of Fultondale will be be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, with burial in Holly Pond Cemetery.

Ms. Little died Monday, Oct. 7. She retired after 45 years of service with South Central Bell. She was an active member of Walkers Chapel Baptist Church.

Mr. Gilley died Wednesday, Oct. 9 at his residence. He was born in Cullman County on Feb. 14, 1915 to William Garfield and Annie Bell House Gilley. He was a farmer and a member of Center Point Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Broxie Lovell Gilley; two sons-in-law, Walter Reid and Rayburn Bailey; three grandchildren, Ricky Bailey, Belinda Reid and Melinda Gilley; three sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include a wife, Sarah Gilley of Holly Pond; a son, Burtis (Sue) Gilley of Holly Pond; three daughters, Helen Gilley Bailey of Braxton, Miss., Linda Gilley Reid and Kathy Gilley (Wayne) Harris, both of Holly Pond; a brother, Feltus (Lucille) Gilley of Holly Pond; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Bowen died Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 11, 1925 in Savannah, Tenn. to Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Wilkins. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Bowen; three brothers, Orval Wilkins, Doc Wilkins and Hershel Baroon; and four sisters, Naomi Stinston, Willie White, Mary Canady and Emma Cookey.
Survivors include a son, Bobby McMurtry of Vinemont; two step-sons, Randy Bowen and Roger Bowen; a daughter, Dorinda (Charles) Johnson of Vinemont; two step-daughters, Christine Hale and Becky Massey; a sister, Edna Mae Milligan of Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Frances Wilkins; five grandchildren, Dorinda Sue (Robie) Harvell, Jeanie (Randy) Odom, Crystal (Michael) Johnston, Luther (Kim) Johnson and Charles Lee Johnson; and eight great-grandchildren.
