Ms. Johnson died Friday, Oct. 11 at St. Vincents Hospital in Birmingham. She was born Jan. 25, 1961.
Survivors include her fiancé, Tony Daniel of Arab; daughter, Tangie Smith of Cullman; mother, Reba Sue Willis of Cullman; father, James A. Willis of Morgan County; three brothers, James Timothy Willis, Phillip Brian Willis, Allen Scott Willis all of Baileyton; one grandson, Cody Smith of Cullman; niece, Amanda Willis; and nephew, Joey Willis.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today.

Funeral services for Lila Gamble Curl, 92, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2002 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Tom Hammons officiating, with burial in Garden City Cemetery. The body will lie in state an hour prior to the service.

She. Curl died Saturday, Oct. 12 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cullman County on Aug. 3, 1910 to Conrad and Ethel Barfoot Curl.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include three sons, Conrad (Dorothy) Curl of Huntsville, Edsel (Dean) Curl of Gadsden, Kedy (Olive Ann) Curl of Jackson, Tenn.; two daughters, Wanda Curl, Nita Curl Martin both of Vestavia; two brothers, Ethridge Gamble of Birmingham, Trent Gamble of Leeds; sister, Mary Kelly of Birmingham; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Glenn W. ‘Dick’ Drinkard

Mr. Drinkard died Saturday, Oct. 12 at his residence. He was born in Cullman County on July 11, 1938 to Earl and Elva Farley Drinkard. He was a construction worker and a member of Lystra Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell Hill Drinkard of Holly Pond; two sons, Mike Drinkard of Holly Pond, Ronald Drinkard of Welti; daughter, Sandy (David) Chambers of Baileyton; and six grandchildren, Andy Drinkard, Bradley Chapman, Derek Chapman, Blake and Michelle Drinkard, Chasity Chambers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
Elijah Cole Thomas
Funeral services for Elijah Cole Thomas, 17, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Tony Thomas officiating, with burial in Simcoe Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas died Sunday, Oct. 13 at UAB Hospital. He was born in Cullman on Dec. 27, 1984. He was a student at Hanceville High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.J. “Ballie” Thomas, Shelby Jean Eubanks, Shorty and Estella Martin.
Survivors include his father, Jeff (Shearld) Thomas; his mother, Teresa Speegle; his brother and best friend, Nathan Thomas; a sister, Destani Speegle; his grandmother, Elouise Thomas Cutcher; and his great-grandmother, Ozella Eubanks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Eli Thomas Scholarship Fund at First Commercial Bank.
Visitation was Monday.
Georgie Johnson Parker
Funeral services for Georgie Johnson Parker, 82, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002 at Wiliams-McCracken Chapel, the Rev. Andrew Ball officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Parker died Sunday, Oct. 13 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 1, 1920 in Cullman to Jessie and Rosey Posey Johnson. She was a lunchroom worker at West Point High School and a member of Spirit Life Church of God, where she played piano and sang for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arvel Parker; and a granddaughter, Penny Parker Smith.
Survivors include two sons, Delma L. (Sue Rainwater) Parker of Cullman and Jeriel (Jayne) Parker of Decatur; a sister, Mina Ragland of Huntsville; five grandchildren, Jenny Parker, Jerry Parker, Angie Williamson, Anthony Parker, Rod Parker; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was Monday.

Mrs. Graveman died Sunday, Oct. 13 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born Dec. 19, 1917 to Herman and Freida Miers Warnke. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ted Graveman.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Diane) Graveman of Cullman; a sister, Edith Warnke of Cullman; and two grandchildren, Stacey Graveman of Lawrence, Kan. and Todd Graveman of Cullman.

Mr. McCain died Monday, Oct. 14 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 11, 1921 to Arthur and Annie King McCain. He was a surveyor for the state of Alabama Highway Dept.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mercides Wilbanks; and a brother, Joseph McCain.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Wenzel McCain; a son, Danny (Rita) McCain of Cullman; a sister, Agnes (Jim) Hicks of Joseph, Ore.; and two grandchildren, Kara and Kacy McCain, both of Cullman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
James Daniel Cowin
Funeral services for James Daniel Cowin, 91, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Revs. Damon Olson and Dennis Trimble officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mr. Cowin died Tuesday, Oct. 15 at his residence. He was born Aug. 16, 1911. He was a retired railroad mailroom worker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Reese Cowin.
Pallbearers will be Ouinton Nail, Danny Tilley, Bryan Nail, Robert Sims, Duston Tackett, Heath Hood and Tom Brock.

Mr. Hays died Tuesday, Oct. 15 at his residence. He was born Jan. 21, 1935 in Blount County to John Wesley and Mamie Lee Russell Hays. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Matthews Hays of Cullman; three sons, David T. Hays of Falkville, Michael F. Hays of Paulding Co., Ga., Steven W. Hays of Lacey Springs; three daughters, Cheryl M. Speegle of Falkville, Marilyn E. Cadle of Berlin, Janet R. Robinson of Bremen, Ga.; a sister, Ima Jean Bartlett of Morris; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
