Funeral services for Ina Elizabeth Tanner, 88, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2002 at Williams-McCracken Chapel, with burial in Holly Pond Cemetery.

Mrs. Tanner died Friday, Oct. 18 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born Oct. 6, 1914 in Morgan County to Cleve A. and Sarah Altus Holmes Tanner. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two brothers, Puccle Tanner and Nevil “Buddy” Tanner of Cullman; a sister, Catherine Kilgore of Joppa; a nephew, Don Tanner of Ruskin, Fla.; and a niece, Belinda Kilgore of Joppa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Ila Allred
Funeral services for Ila Allred, 79, of Holly Pond will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002 at Welcome Baptist Church, the Rev. Terry Blankenship officiating, with burial in Welcome Cemetery. The body will lie in state an hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Allred died Friday, Oct. 18 at Riverview Hospital in Gadsden. She was born in Blount County on Sept. 22, 1923 to James Kader and Vera Angeline Lett Allen. She was a retired seamstress from K.D. Industries and a member of Welcome Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Rayford Allred.
Survivors include her brother, James C. Allen of Gadsden; and three sisters, Dorothy Legg of Cullman, Era Bush and Vera Joye both of Gadsden.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
Franklin Charles Cleghorn
Funeral services for Franklin Charles Cleghorn, 66, of Arley will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 at Liberty Baptist Church, Patrick Cleghorn and Butch Cleghorn officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Cleghorn died Wednesday, Oct. 16 at D.C.H. Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Survivors include his wife, Mava Jean Cleghorn of Arley; three daughters, JoAnn (Stanley) Thompson and Chris (Van) Johnson of Arley, Doris (Danny) Key of Cullman; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Cleghorn of Arley and Horace Cleghorn of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and five sisters, Verlene Veigil and Jan Farley of Cullman, Evelene Cleghorn of Birmingham, Wilma Farley and Judy Farley of Arley.

Thomas Milton Pearson
Funeral services for Thomas Milton Pearson, 76, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, Damon Olsen officiating, with burial in Fairview Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. Pearson died Friday, Oct. 18 at Woodland Village Health Care. He was born in Alabama on April 2, 1926 to Henry Micheal and Icie E. Denney Pearson. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Velda Pratt Pearson; four sons, Larry Milton Pearson, Thomas Dewayne Pearson, Vernon Carter Pearson, Henry Byron Pearson; four daughters, Sheila Mae Massey, Keithel Mae McEntire, Eithal Mae Shelton, Teachell Mae Woods; one brother, Henry C. Pearson; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emmett D. McDowell; three brothers, William Brown, Delaious Brown, Ramous Brown; and three sisters, Burnie Laney, Desser Glover, Offie Benefield.
Survivors include one son, Winford (Michaelene) McDowell of Virginia; twin brother, Mansel Brown of Indiana; sister, Lois Raley of Cullman; granddaughter, Christine (James) Armstrong of Virginia; and three great-grandchildren, Jeremie Koons and twins James and Cassandra Armstrong.

Mrs. Evans died Saturday, Oct. 19 at Briarcliff Intergrated Health Services. She was born in Carrol County, Ga., on Jan. 3, 1918 to William Benjamin and Laura Mittie Faulkner Clark. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ora Gains Evans and a daughter, Clara Faye Brooks.
Survivors include one son, Charles Wendall Evans of Grant; two daughters, Melba Jean Keeling of Athens, Betty Ruth Chambers of Alabaster; four half-brothers, Herman Clark, Willard Clark, Dwight Clark all of Cullman, Marvin Clark of Warren, Mich.; sister, Ollie Mae Smith of Vinemont; two half-sisters, Hazel Clark Tucker of Cullman, Marie Clark Axt of Warren, Mich.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Othell Chandler; her son-in-law, Gene Jones; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Reba Jones of Cullman and Barbara (James) Crowe of Birmingham; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
