Funeral services for Linda Jean Sullins, 59, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, F.S. “Bucky” Rizzo and Jerry Lake officiating, with burial in Cross Road Cemetery.

Mrs. Sullins died Sunday, Nov. 3 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1943 in Cullman County to Edgar Eugene and Trudie Blackwood Yarbrough. She was a caregiver for the elderly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Harold Yarbrough.
Survivors include two sons, Ken Sullins and Kevin (Tina) Sullins of Cullman; a brother, Harmon (Wilma) Yarbrough of Cullman; six grandchildren, Kyle Sullins, Tyler Sullins, Alyx Sullins, Ryan Sullins, Kayla Sullins and Shaun Cofer; three nephew; and friend, Paul Kilpatrick.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Funeral services for C.B. Gentry, 89, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Truman Davis and Lee Adams officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Gentry died Sunday, Nov. 3 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 23, 1913 in Cullman County to Cleveland and Frances Adams Gentry. He was a maintenance technician for Wallace State College and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ruby M. Gentry.
Survivors include three sons, Glenn (Yvonne) Gentry of Logan, Ray O. (Laurinda) Gentry of Kennasaw, Ga. and Roger (Brenda) Gentry of Boaz; two daughters, Faye (Jerry) Smith of Vinemont and Beverley (Dock) Abercrombie of Union Hill; a brother, Fred Gentry of Gadsden; a sister, Willadean Turner of Cullman; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday.
Kerry Dane Wolf
Funeral services for Kerry Dane Wolf, 54, of Birmingham will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002 at Williams-McCracken Chapel, the Rev. John Jankens officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mr. Wolf died Sunday, Nov. 3 at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton. He was born in Cullman on Feb. 13, 1948 to Fred E. and Sybil Speegle Wolf of Crane Hill. He was a press operator for a The Print Shop.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert F. Wolf.
Survivors include his parents; his wife, Ann Wolf of Birmingham; a son, Patrick Wolf of Birmingham; a daughter, Karen Pate of Birmingham; a brother, Jerry Wolf of Aurora, Ill.; four sisters, Patricia Krenzel and Shirley McCulloch both of Cullman, Gara M. Johnson of Birmingham and Frederica Crumpton of Hoover; and three grandchildren, Kelly Pate, Josh Pate and Savannah Wolf.

Mrs. Duke died Sunday, Nov. 3 at Baptist Medical Center Princeton. She was born in Athens on March 7, 1936 to John B. and Edna Pearl Simmons Posey. She was a production worker in the electronics industry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James “Bud” Duke; and a sister, Darlene Morgan.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey (Sonja) Duke of Cullman; two grandchildren, Jessica Duke and Cameron Duke; two brothers, Donald (Anne) Posey of Cullman and Ronald (Shirley) Posey of Fairview; and two sisters, Faye (Guy) Miller of Gum Pond and Brenda (James) Farley of Trimble.

Mrs. Tchorz died Monday, Nov. 4 at her residence. She was born Sept. 7, 1958 in St. Louis, Mo. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Mayhall.
Survivors include her mother, Violet Mayhall; four sons, Charles Shikle, Chris Shikle, Eligah Tchorz, and Tyson Tchorz; three brothers, David Valencia, Robert E. Mayhall Jr. and Bobby Odie Mayhall; and four sisters, Brenda Linze, Robin Neely, Beth Mayhall and Becky Black.

Funeral services for Michael Augustine Gresik, 75, of Cullman were Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father Kevin McGrath officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Gresik died Sunday, Nov. 3 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born Sept. 25, 1927 in Chicago, Ill. to Dr. Hermann Konstantine and Elanor Zimmer Gresik. He was a retired nursing home administrator, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Anthony Gresik; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Clark Gresik of Cullman; a son, James Timothy Gresik; three daughters, Melody (Larry) Quattlebaum, Martha (Edwin) Lawrence of Cullman and Andrea (Ron) Knoll of Georgia; a sister, Charlotte (Tony) Lindauer of Chicago; five grandchildren, Christopher and Chad Quattlebaum, Kourtney Cuellar and Kel and Kolby Lawrence; and two great-grandchildren, Kortlin and Caden Cuellar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Albert and Lou Bowling Freeman; five sisters, Liddy Fine, Pam Freeman, Bess Jennings, Betty Scott and Tressa Williams; and three brothers, Ardis Freeman, Earl Freeman and Ot Freeman.
Survivors include her husband, Lecil Dutton of Jasper; a daughter, Dianne Dutton of Jasper; a son, Danny (Abigail) Dutton of Parrish; a brother, Hoover Freeman of Jasper; three sisters, Kathleen Parker of Jasper, Madalene Wade of Forestdale and Amalee Young of Notasulga; three grandchildren, Kacey Bennett and Kerry Maske of Jasper, Chris Dutton of Parrish; and three great-grandchildren, Corey Bennett, Chloe Maske and Samantha Odom.

Mr. Allison died Wednesday, Nov. 6 at his residence. He was born in Cullman on July 19, 1925 to James L. and Barbara Miller Allison. He was a member of Hopewell Road Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Dewitt Allison, Ethridge Allison and Raymond Allison.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jones Allison of Cullman; two sons, Lewis Allison of Hartselle and Robert (Brenda) Allison of Cullman; and five grandchildren, Adam Allison, Daniel Allison, Heather Allison, Misti Allison, and Pam Allison.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
William C. Smith
Funeral services for William C. Smith, 68, of Cullman died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born in Knoxville, Tenn. on Nov. 8, 1933. He was a truck driver.

Survivors include a daughter, Dianna Baker of Cullman; a son, Richard Curtis Smith of Jones Chapel; four grandchildren, Louis Baker, Scott Baker, Patty Smith and Ricky Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Christian Baker and Sarah Baker.
Dr. Phillip Dale Young
Funeral services for the Rev. Dr. Phillip Dale Young, 52, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002 at First United Methodist Church of Cullman, Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiating. The body will lie in state an hour prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Green view Memorial Cemetery in Florence.

Dr. Young died Thursday, Nov. 7 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Alabama on March 11, 1950 to Clarence Roy and Clara Seaton Young. He was the senior pastor at First United Methodist Church of Cullman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Mangrum Young; daughter, Cam Young; sister, Vo Allison of Waterloo; brother, Lewis Young of Savannah, Tenn.; mother-in-law, Jessie Mangrum of Florence; and brother-in-law, Donnie (Judy) Mangrum of Florence.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church building fund.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
