Mrs. Posey died Saturday, Jan. 4 on County Road 1435 in Cullman. She was born May 10, 1948 in Alabama. She was an electronics assembler.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Rodgers; and her brother, Shelton Byrd.
Survivors include a son, Michael Posey; and a daughter, Summer Sepeda.
Ronald Dwight Posey

Mr. Posey died Saturday, Jan. 4 on County Road 1435 in Cullman. He was born Aug. 17, 1949 in Alabama. He was a construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Simmons Posey; and two sisters, Chistine Duke and Darlene Morgan.
Survivors include a son, Michael Posey; a brother, Donald (Ann) Posey; and two sisters, Faye (Guy) Miller and Brenda (James) Farley.
James Corley
Funeral services for James Corley, 82, of Vinemont were Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 at Moss Service Chapel, Billy Mosteller and Price Robinson officiating, with burial in Flint Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Corley died Monday, Jan. 6 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 12, 1920 in Alabama to James Tildon and Jennie Couch Corley. He was an auto salesman and a veteran of the U. S. Armed Forces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Virgil Corley and Floyd Corley.
Survivors include his wife, Wilda Moon Corley of Vinemont; three daughters, Jamelle (Robert) Graham of Gum Pond, Judy (Hinton) Mitchem of Vinemont and Catina (Joe) Parrish of Hoover; two sons, Michael (Sandy) Corley and Tildon (Becky) Corley, both of Vinemont; a sister, Lucille Bryant of Falkville; six grandchildren, Candice Corely, Brandy Graham, Kyle Shaw, Kerry Shaw, Brittnie Mabry, and Courtney Corley; and three great-grandchildren, Corley Parrish, Colton Graham and Caylee Parrish.
Visitation was Wednesday.
Marshall Heaton

Mrs. Graves died Wednesday, Jan. 8 at her residence. She was born Sept. 23, 1922 to Robert and Hattie Weldon Grubbs. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church on Eva Road for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henderson Clarence Graves; a daughter, Hazel Mahaffey; a son, Curtis Graves; a brother, Arthur (Bonnie) Grubbs; and a sister, Tressie Johnson.
Survivors include five sons, Charley Graves of Garden City, Douglas Graves, Tony Graves, Bruce Graves, Rodney Graves, all of Cullman; three brothers, Johnny Grubbs, Howard Grubbs, Robert Jackson Grubbs, all of California; four sisters, Lillie Mae McDowell, Ruth Quick and Delia Cantrell of Hanceville, Vonda Lee Isom of Holly Pond; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Irene Finley Gann

Mrs. Gann died Wednesday, Jan. 8 at her residence. She was born Aug. 20, 1942 in Cullman County to Marvin and Elberta Mae Elms Finley. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jessie James Gann.
Survivors include two sons, Tim (Kim) Gann and Jeffery James (Tammy) Gann, both of Cullman; a daughter, La Tasha Nicole Gann of Cullman; two brothers, Winfred Finley and Alvis Finley, both of Fairview; a sister, Annie Mae Landers of Indiana; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. New died Wednesday, Jan. 8 at her residence. She was born Dec. 7, 1925 in Misissippi to Joseph and Lettie Mae Owens DeAngelo. She was a long-time resident of Cullman County and a day care worker at Kiddy Land Day Care Center where she cared for 2- and 3-year-olds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Howard New; and a daughter, Lena Mae New.
Survivors include two daughters, Louise (Doug) Jones of Birmingham and Linda (Rudy) Hornsby of Lacey’s Spring; five grandchildren, Barbara Chambers of Cullman, Meg Hornsby of Lacey’s Spring, Courtney Jones, Carson Jones, and Christopher Jones, all of Birmingham; and two sisters, Bettie Roberts of Pensacola, Fla. and Alene DeAngelo of Marathon, Fla.

Alfreda Meyer McGehee

Mrs. McGehee died Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Victorian Manor. She was born Dec. 9, 1908 in Seneca, Kan. to Joseph Herman and Anna Kohake Meyer. She was a retired teacher for Catholic School in Spartanburgh. She was a member of the Benedictine Oblate, the AAUW, Altar Society and PTA. She was a girl scout leader, a cub scout leader and was nominated for Woman of the Year in Spartanburgh, S.C. in 1964.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hiram Temple McGehee; a son, John E. McGehee; two brothers, Gilbert Meyer and Edward Meyer; and four sisters, Marcella Meyers, Beatrice Meyers, Dolores Meyers and Catherine Meyers.
Survivors include two daughters, Sister Mary McGehee of Cullman and Rose Ann McGehee of California; and two sisters, Frances Miller of Colorado and Mary Meyer of Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Benedictine Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery, P.O. Box 2040, Cullman, Ala. 35056.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the monastery.

Mrs. Cone died Wednesday, Jan. 8 in Hanceville. She was born on March 30, 1921.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Cone.
Survivors include two sisters, Margre Blackwood of Hanceville and Magdalene Farris of Cullman; a brother, Carney Pitts of Hanceville; three grandchildren, Darrel Cone, Michael Wayne Cone and Erick Cone; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wade died Sunday, Jan. 5 in Cullman. He was born in Hurtsboro on June 19, 1937.
Survivors include his wife, Odie Belle Hall Wade of Hanceville; a son, Levi Wade Jr. of Hanceville; a daughter, Ruthie Jean Dunn of Alabaster; and five grandchildren, William Paul Dunn Jr., Marcell T. Dunn, Marion Helen Dunn, Levi Wade III, and Preston Eddy.
