Wilma Teague
Funeral services for Wilma Teague, 84, of Birmingham will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Vinemont, with burial in the church cemetery.
Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Teague died Wednesday, Jan. 22. She was a longtime member of Eastlake United Methodist Church and the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. She was also an affiliate of First United Methodist Church in Cullman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harney C. Teague.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol (Tim) Thomas of Birmingham; a grandson, Adam Thomas of Boston, Mass.; a granddaughter, Laura Thomas of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Jewel Scaglione and Mildred Wilhite of Vinemont; and two brothers, Paul Barnett of Vinemont and Bill Barnett of Cullman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Barnabas Hospice Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 190806, Birmingham, Ala. 35219.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Eve Chamblee
Funeral services for Eve Chamblee, 64, of Garden City are at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003 at Hanceville Funeral Home, the Revs. Vernon Alvis, Larry Craig and Kevin White officiating, with burial in Garden City Cemetery.

Mrs. Chamblee died Friday after an extended illness. She was born June 4, 1938 in Blount County to Johnnie R. and Leona Boone Watson. She was a 29-year employee of Wrangler.
Mrs. Chamblee was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Chamblee of Garden City; four sons, Ronnie (Jane) Chamblee, James (Sue) Chamblee, Paul (Christie) Chamblee and Rodger (Debbie) Chamblee, all of Hanceville; a daughter, Diana (Kevin) White of Garden City; three brothers, Glen Watson of Blountsville, Hugh Vernon (Brenda) Watson of Blountsville and Donnie Earl Watson of Hanceville; a sister Rita (Freddie) Edwards of Jasper; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Udora Pauline Hollis
Funeral services for Udora Pauline Hollis, 91, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003 at Hopewell Baptist Church, the Rev. Trueman Davis and Dr. Elmer Nielson officiating, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Hollis died Wednesday, Jan. 22 in Hanceville. She was born on Aug. 7, 1911 in Cullman County to Lewis Phillip and Rossie D. Millis Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, L.J. Hollis; and three brothers, the Rev. Gordon G. Miller, Lewis B. Miller and William Basil Miller.
Survivors include a son, Jerry (Diane) Hollis of Gardendale; a daughter, Paula Handley of Johnson Crossing; a brother, the Rev. James M. Miller; and three sisters, Magdalene Briscoe, Savannah Addeline Miller and Dean C. Proctor, all of Cullman.
Sarah Harper Gilley

Mrs. Gilley died Friday, Jan. 24 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 8, 1928 to Jim and Annie Ayers Howard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Pedro Harper, Marlon Gorham and Wiley Gilley.
Survivors include a sister, Pearl (Amon) Rayburn; a brother, Earl (Zera Burns) Howard; eight stepdaughters; and one stepson.

Woodrow ‘Woody’ Jerry Lee Dover
Funeral services for Woodrow “Woody” Jerry Lee Dover, 69, of Blountsville will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003 at Blountsville Funeral Chapel, Van Moore and Clatus Nesmith officiating, with burial in Rock Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Dover died Thursday, Jan. 23 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born in Joppa to Luther and Beatrice Singleton Dover. He was a maintenance worker for the state of Alabama Dept. of Transporation and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Calvin Dover and Duard Dover; and three sisters, Leola Bennefield, Lovee Feraro and Violet Stewart.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Sterling Dover; a son, Tim Newman of Blountsville; a daughter, Kim (James) Newman of Blountsville; three sisters, Louise (Homer) Jones of Joppa, Adean Bennefield and Jessie Johnson of Arab; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Moody, Earl Floyd, David Pinyan, Ellis Smith, Arnon Smith and Junior Moody.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carlton Brooks and Arnold Hope.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Malvin L. Wilson
Funeral services for Malvin L. Wilson, 86, of Austell, Ga. will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home, the Rev. Bob Baxter officiating with Masonic rites. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullman.

Mr. Wilson died Thursday, Jan. 23. He was a retired self-employed electrician and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church in Cullman, a 50-year member of the Leland Masonic Lodge No. 686, a member of Royal Arch Mason and Council No. 83, and the Cobb Co. Low 12 Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Louise Dyer Wilson of Austell, Ga.; a daughter, Gladys Ivey of Mableton, Ga.; a son, Donnie Wayne Wilson of Villa Rica, Ga.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday.
Edna Etzig Welch

Mrs. Welch died Thursday, Jan. 23 at her residence. She was born Dec. 25, 1922, in Ohio to Matthew and Elizabeth Clark Etzig. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dr. Elbert Welch.
Survivors include five daughters, Annette Ivie of Austin, Texas, Yvonne Sanford of Hartselle, Sylvia Katrina Welch of Seattle, Wash., Pati Jochum of Hanceville and Barbara Jones of Hanceville; a sister-in-law, Zella Robarts of Jacksonville, Fla.; nine grandchilden; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Virginia Faye Bryan.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Dewayne (Mary) Bryan of Snead and Nelson Donald Lee (Carol) Bryan of Limestone; her daughter, Barbara Ann Bryan of Snead; two sisters, David Coy Cryer of Holly Pond and Bonnie Mae Cryer of Sylacauga; and two grandchildren, Virginia Renee (Carlos Jr.) Bernal and Joseph Dewayne Boatner.

The Rev. Miller died Sunday, Jan. 26 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born July 8, 1921 in Cullman to Lewis Phillip and Rossie Delilah Millis Miller. He was a retired minister and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara Faye Miller; a sister, Pauline Hollis; and three brothers, Lewis Miller, William Basil Miller and the Rev. John Gordon Miller.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Miller of Huntsville and Phillip Miller of Cullman; a daughter, Sandra Leonard of Cullman; three sisters, Magdelene Briscoe and Adelene Miller, both of Cullman, and Ludean Proctor of Birmingham; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Wilford Ray; four brothers, Earl Yancy, Belton Yancy, Ivan Yancy, and Dolan Yancy; and a sister, Novis Moore.
Survivors include a son, Gary (Maxine) Ray of Cullman; a daughter, Regina (Edward) Green, Cullman; a brother, Karie Yancy of Fairview; a brother-in-law, Dalford Tucker; two sisters, Evelyn Pruett of Pisgah and Marie Tucker of Cullman; three sisters-in-law, Elsie Yancy, Wynell Lee and Melba Kane; two grandchildren, Christi (Matthew) Rutherford and Justin Ray; and a great-grandchild, Andrew Rutherford.
