Services for Johnny Max Meyer, 63, of Tuscaloosa will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Hanceville Funeral Home, Pastor Harold Hermetz officiating, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.

He died March 3. He was born in Hanceville Oct. 12, 1939, to Max John and Gladys Keller Meyer. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cullman and the Haleyville Lions Club for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Polly Meyer of Tuscaloosa; a daughter, Christi (Wallace) Dunn of Monroeville; a son, Jefferey (Catherine) Meyer of Tuscaloosa; a sister, Ann Bailey of Hanceville; four grandchildren, Emory Dunn and Tristin Dunn of Monroeville and Blake Meyer and Matthew Meyer of Tuscaloosa.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Helen Diane Landers
Graveside services for Helen Diane Landers, 47, of Somerville will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2003 at New Home Cemetery, Chad Montoya and Nathan Horton officiating.

Mrs. Landers died Monday, March 3 at Brookwood Medical Center. She was born in Akron, Ohio on Jan. 15, 1956. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her parents, Joe S. and Mildred J. Chambers Sears of Baileyton; her husband, Hoyt W. Landers of Somerville; two daughters, Elisha G. Landers and Erica J. Landers, both of Somerville; three brothers, Micheal Sears of Winston-Salem, N.C., William “Billy” Sears of Huntsville and Jimmy W. Sears of Baileyton; and two sisters, Bonnie Collins of Charleston, S.C. and Donna Bullard of Baileyton.

Danny Ray Sandifer
Funeral services for Danny Ray Sandifer, 60, were Sunday, March 2, 2003 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Jack Garnett and Tony Woods officiating, with burial in Daniels Chapel Cemetery in Morgan County.

Mr. Sandifer died Feb. 28 at his residence. He was born Oct. 30, 1942 in Burbank, Calif. to Emmett Emmerson and Edith Lorene Cowan Sandifer. He was a truck driver for William Petroleum.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gaston Paul Sandifer; and a sister, June Sandifer.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Sandifer; four sons, Danny (Pam) Sandifer, Jim (Carol) Sandifer, John (Sue Ann) Sandifer, and Greg Sandifer; a daughter, Dawn (Jeff) Collins; two stepdaughters, Laura Case and Marla Johnston; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was Saturday.
Mary Magdalene Hudgins George
Funeral services for Mary Magdalene Hudgins George, 88, of Eva will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2003 at Eva Baptist Church, Phillip Robinson officiating, with burial in Etha Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. George died Monday, March 3 at her residence. She was born April 11, 1914 in Morgan County to James Lavy and Mary Ellen Childers Hudgins. She was a homemaker and a member of Eva Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ethan George; her son, Levi George; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include two sons, James (Betty) George of Eva and Louie (Jessie) George of Shelbyville, Tenn.; a daughter, Linda George; a brother, Abraham Hudgins; a sister, Janie Hudgins, all of Eva; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

James Robert Quinn
Graveside services for James Robert Quinn, 83, of Crane Hill will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2003 at Bowman’s Chapel Cemetery, Glenn Posey officiating.

Mr. Quinn died Monday, March 3 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 15, 1919 in Alabama to Weaver and Flora McCulloh Quinn. He was a welder.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Terry (Debbie) Quinn of Cullman and Sonny (Pat) Quinn of Trussville; a brother, James Quinn of Sheffield; two sisters, Lennie Peden of Sheffield and Lassie Kennemur of Florence; and four grandchildren, Steven Quinn, Jessica Quinn, Kevin Quinn and Brandie Quinn.

Mr. Walker died Tuesday, March 4 at his residence. He was born in Harrison County, Ga. on Aug. 28, 1916 to James Harvey and Fannie Edwards Walker. He was a carpenter, farmer and member of New Hope No. 2 Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Enoch Walker; and two sisters, Camilla Walker Plundet and Rena Walker Eckhart.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Hays Walker; a son, Hubert (Donna) Walker, both of Holly Pond; a grandson, Russell (Donna) Walker of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; a granddaughter, Monica (Gary) Ayers of Holly Pond; four great-grandchildren, Nathan and Aaron Ayers and Maegan and Eric Walker; a brother, Ernest Walker of Holly Pond; and two sisters, Gladys McGriff of Holly Pond and Frances Plunkett.

Funeral services for Ocho Holmes, 88, of Eva will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at Peck Funeral Chapel, the Rev. James Dennis officiating, with burial in Enon Cemetery at Eva.

Mr. Holmes died Tuesday, March 4 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born May 17, 1914 in Morgan County to John R. and Martha Ann McKee Holmes. He was a farmer and co-owner of Holmes Gin in Eva.
Survivors include his wife, Datchel Ryan Holmes of Eva; two daughters, Clovis Holmes of Eva and Annie Jo Key of Hartselle; a brother, Elvin Holmes of Eva; two grandchildren, Randall Don Key and Myra Holmes Ford; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday.
Audie Partain Kilpatrick
Funeral services for Audie Partain Kilpatrick, 84, of Headland will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2003 at Peck Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Jimmy Wright officiating, with burial in Corinth Cemetery.

Mrs. Kilpatrick died Sunday, March 2 at her residence. She was born and raised in Falkville in Morgan County, daughter of Walter Jackson and Minnie Lee Shedd Partain. She formerly lived in Mt. Dora, Fla. and also the Massey community in Morgan County before moving to Henry County in 1988. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kilpatrick; and her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Faye (Everett) Oney of Headland and Sue Ann (Curtis) Slaten of Somerville; six grandchildren, Deborah (Gary) Ryals, Ronnie (Debbie) Shiver, both of Dothan, Paul Shiver of Pensacola, Fla., Jack (Terry) Shiver of Jacksonville, Fla., Melissa Shiver of Somerville, and Sheri (Jay) Jenkins of Decatur; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Audrey Hammett of Dennis, Miss.; and a brother, James Partain of Lacey Springs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wiregrass Hospice, Inc., P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

Survivors include four sons, John David Howell, Dale Eric Howell and Dwayne Alan Howell, all of Holly Pond, and Michael Joe Howell of Cullman; two daughters, Donna Marie Peak and Debra Diane Linton, both of Cullman; three brothers, Bedford Barron of Crossville, Gene Barron and Harold Barron, both of Geraldine; two sisters, Lela of Rogersville and Helen Hopper of Snead; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Teichmiller died Wednesday, March 5 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Cullman on June 4, 1927 to Henry Joseph and Estell Hamrick Teichmiller. He was a millright with Commercial Construction and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Thelma Teichmiller; and a son, Bill Teichmiller.
Survivors include his son, Mark (Kathy) Teichmiller of Cullman; three grandchildren, Joseph Teichmiller, Jennifer Teichmiller Yahn, both of Cullman, Libby Wood of Birmingham; and six great-grandchildren, Austin and Cheyenne Teichmiller, Kristin and Katelin Yahn, all of Cullman, Kuri and Carly Wood of Birmingham.

Wallace H. Haymon

Mr. Haymon died Tuesday, March 4 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born Nov. 1, 1917 to Rufus and Sarah Ann Perry Haymon. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Haymon; his parents; and his special caregiver, Pat Haymon.
Survivors include four nephews, Rabon Haymon, Bobby Haymon, Ray Haymon and Robert Ergle.
Pallbearers will be Ray Haymon, Keith Haymon, Rabon Haymon, Pam Bradford, Sidney Haymon, Robert Ergle and Larry Couch.
