Funeral services for Berrin Henry Stricklin, 86, of Bremen will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Addington Chapel Methodist Church, Ray Ponder officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Stricklin died Friday, March 7 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 16, 1916 in Alabama to Daniel Seafus and Lorenda Gunter Stricklin. He was a welder for Pullman Standard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Stricklin; two granddaughters, Judy (Randy) Aaron and Kathy Harris; a sister, Tressie Dollar; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday.
Dorothy Alene Patterson
Funeral services for Dorothy Alene Patterson, 80, of Double Springs will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Double Springs Worship Center, Doug Ripley and Robert Walker officiating, with burial in New Home Cemetery.

Mrs. Patterson died Friday, March 7 at her residence.
Survivors include four daughters, Shelby Jean Parker of Double Springs, Elizabeth Patterson and Barbara Allred of Decatur, and Patricia Miller of Michigan; two sons, James Ervin Patterson and Larry Randall Patterson, both of Double Springs; a sister, Audrey Yarbrough of Hanceville; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Floyd ‘Bud’ Chambers
Funeral services for Floyd “Bud” Chambers, 69, of Hazel Green will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at Peck Funeral Chapel, the Revs. Robert Morgan, Truman Shadrix and Keith Bowen officiating, with burial at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 13 in Union Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Chambers died Tuesday, March 11 at his residence. He was born June 28, 1933 in Morgan County to Horace Greely and Minnie Aldridge Chambers. He was a retired supervisor at Goodyear Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Christine Johnson Chambers of Hazel Green ; two daughters, Stacie Elizabeth Chambers Gooch of Taft, Tenn. and Regina Faith Chambers of Hazel Green ; a brother, Ottis Chambers of Cullman; seven sisters, Hazel Suits of Indiana, Evelyn Banks of Eva, Faye Grimmett and Dovie Philpot of Cullman, Edna Steincipher of Trinity, Odena Ashbranner of Harrison, Alaska and Virginia Johnson of Hanceville; and a granddaughter, Michaela Elizabeth Chambers Gooch.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Floy Maebell Black
Funeral services for Floy Maebell Black, 96, of Cullman are at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2003 at Duck River Baptist Church, the Revs. Sherman Bailey and Steven Thomas officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Black died Wednesday, March 12 at a local hospital. She retired from Cullman Lingerie and she was a life-long member of Duck River Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for years. She loved to crochet and did so until her death.
Survivors include four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Wyatt Black, Mrs. Robert Black, Mrs. Hubert Black and Mrs. Hobson Black; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ruby Ezell Hunt
Funeral services for Ruby Ezell Hunt, 85, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2003 at First Church of the Nazarene, Greg Story officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Hunt died Wednesday, March 12 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 19, 1918 to John Wesley and Martha E. Canant Vest. She was a church day care worker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd H. Hunt; and her parents.
Survivors include three sons, Royce (Amanda) Hunt, Gary (Phyllis) Hunt and Roger (Thaworn) Hunt; a daughter, Doris (Junior) McCroy; five grandchildren, Sharon Stansberry, Michael McCroy, Beth Laney, Scott Hunt and Jason Hunt; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. today.

Mrs. Hartwig died Wednesday, March 12 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 19, 1909 in Cullman County to William Theodore and Amelia Augusta Rau Hartwig. She was a nanny.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Henry George Hartwig and Carl F. Hartwig; and a nephew, Henry Donald Hartwig.
Survivors include a sister, Hannah Thomas of Cullman; and four nieces, Kathy Barbee and Dorothy Culver, both of Cullman and Molly Ann Hartwig and Joyce H. Purdy, both of Hanceville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or to First Lutheran Church in Birmingham.
Visitation was Thursday.
Loretta Lorraine Baker
Funeral services for Loretta Lorraine Baker, 81, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Mac Buttram officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Baker died Thursday, March 13 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born July 21, 1921 to Robert and Henrietta Smith Stark. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, a Sunday School teacher, was a member of a garden club, active with the Girl Scouts and in the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Baker; and her parents.
Survivors include a husband, Spright D. Baker of Cullman; a son, John (Elizabeth) Baker of Tracy’s Landing, Md.; a daughter, Betty (George) Hatler of Rutherford, N.J.; a sister, Lillian (Joseph) Radolec of Pittsburgh, Pa.; five grandchildren, Tracy, Lindsey, Ashley, Craig and Lauren; and two great-grandchildren, Cole and Paige.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

Survivors include his wife, Ethelene Brock Key; two sons, Terry Dale and Danny Micheal Key, all of Addison; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kelley died Thursday, March 13 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born Sept. 24, 1921.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sudie May Mattox Owens; her husband, Henry M. Kelley; her brother, Aruit Owens; and two sisters, Flora Willingham and Hazel Burden.
Survivors include a companion, Russell White; two sons, Johnny Kelley and Mitchell (Donna) Kelley; two stepdaughters, Crystal Blackwell and Lisa White; a brother, Amous “Bunk” Owens; two sisters, Nelda McPherson and Elda Shed; a grandchild, Shannon Kelley; a great-grandchild, Karessa Kelley; and two step-grandchildren, Marolyn Blackwell and Cody White.

Mrs. Donaldson died Thursday, March 13 at Medical Center East Hospital in Birmingham. She was a retired office clerk from the medical field in Michigan. She was a member of Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther L. Donaldson; and her parents, John Henry and Louvena Vance McWhorter.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy L. (Nancy) Donaldson of Connecticut; a daughter, Barbara (Jim) DeGrado of Orland Park, Ill.; a sister, Edna (Kermit) Pinyan of Blountsville; four grandchildren, Sandra (Ron) Graziano, Jason Donaldson, Adam Donaldson and Daniel Allen; and special friend, Edward Trammell of Blountsville.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Allen, Calvin Pinyan, Russell Pinyan, Ryan Pinyan, Jerry Trammell, LaDon Beasley and Brett Foust.
