Robert Wilson ‘Dub’ Wright
Services for Robert Wilson “Dub” Wright, 81, of Albertville will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001 at Ryan Baptist Church, the Rev. Carl Mike Rester officiating, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Wright died Monday, Nov. 12 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1920 in Wedowee. He was a retired Texaco oil distributor with Lay and Wright Oil Co. in Guntersville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army/Air Force in the 1520th Quartermaster Battalion of Mobile, an AVN APO 149 in five major campaigns in the European Theater which supported the munitions logistica for the Ninth Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Skipper Wright; and his brother, John Henry Wright.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Mel) Wright-Potts of Albertville and Gloria A. Wright of Guntersville; a granddaughter, Olivia Suzanne Porter of Guntersville; four brothers, Quinton Davis Wright, James Arthur Wright, both of Joppa, Theo Pat Wright, Franklin D. Wright, both of Birmingham; and a sister, Lavis Wright Grace of Joppa.
Pallbearers will be members of the military.
Honorary pallbearers will be Van, Danny, Barry, David, Keith, Brian and Gary Wright, Van Wright, Mark, Don and Steve Grace.
Visitation was Tuesday.
Ivan Pepper
Graveside services for Ivan Pepper, 75, of Monteagle, Tenn., formerly of Cullman, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001 at Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. Pepper died Saturday, Nov. 10 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Tennessee. He was born April 29, 1926 in Limestone County to Walter Benton and Francis Cardelia Hargroves Pepper. He was a barber

Services for J. B. Chambers, 79, of Eva will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2001 at Center Grove Baptist Church, James Robertson and Harvell Smith officiating, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Chambers died Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 3, 1922. He was retired from Metco Industries and was a Baptist preacher. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was a member of Simcoe Masonic Lodge No. 854, a 32nd degree mason, a past chaplain for Simcoe Lodge No. 854 and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Greeley and Minnie Aldridge Chambers; and his daughter, Kim Chambers.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Speegle Chambers of Eva; five sons, Coyse Chambers, Travis (Sherry) Chambers, Carlos (Brenda) Chambers, Vent Chambers and Kent Chambers; two daughters, Brenda Chambers and Linda (Dale) Spratlin; four stepsons, Ron (Lorie) Casey, Ken (Cathy) Casey, Don Casey and Bill Casey; two brothers, Bud (Dot) Chambers and Ottis (Johanna) Chambers of Cullman; seven sisters, Hazel Suites, Evelyn (Therman) Banks, Dovie (Wendell) Philpot, Faye (Earl) Grimmet, and Virginia (Melvin) Johnson, all of Cullman, Edna (Jim) Steinecipher of Morgan County, Dena (Jimmy) Ashabraner of Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of Simcoe Masonic Lodge No. 854.

Services for Lois Ann Herbert, 63, of Hartselle, formerly of Cullman, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001 at Roselawn Funeral Home, the Rev. Ellis Leverett officiating, with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Herbert died Thursday, Nov. 15 at her residence. She was born Oct. 10, 1938 in Arkansas to Luther and Maud White Green . She was a homemaker and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Herbert of Hartselle; a daughter, Kathy Boatright of Vinemont; a son, Michael (Stephanie) Harrington of Vinemont; two stepchildren, Cindy Yarbrough and Dewayne Herbert, both of Decatur; three brothers, Norman Green, Charles Green and Bobby Green, all of Cullman; two sisters, Sadie Blagg and Opal Black, both of Cullman; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Smith, Dusty Boatright, Wayne Baker, Randy Boatright, Brian Yarbrough and Wade Wilhite.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Geraldine Clapp
Services for Geraldine Clapp, 86, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2001 at Hanceville Funeral Home with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Clapp died Wednesday, Nov. 14 in Birmingham. She was born in Bangor on Aug. 13, 1915 to Thomas Holmes and Ollie Ruth Cantrell Musgrove. She was a long-time math teacher at Hanceville School. She also taught at Wallace State and St. Bernard and tutored students as well. She was a member of Hanceville First Baptist Church, the Retired Teacher Association and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William H. Clapp.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Guin of Cullman, Elaine Freeman of Hanceville, Katherine RouLaine of Coker; one brother, Warren Musgrove of Bangor; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Tommie Gary Sanders
Graveside services for Tommie Gary Sanders, 49, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001 at Flint Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Sanders died Tuesday, Nov. 6 in Fort Worth. He was an electrician.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Jewel Green Sanders.
Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Rose Sanders; and two brothers, Garland Sanders and Keith Sanders.
Tempie C. McBride

Mrs. McBride died Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born April 15, 1926 in Lauderdale County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. McBride; a sister, Ruby Mann; and a brother, Jones Webb.
Survivors include a son, Michael L. McBride of Decatur; four sisters, Mary Flippo of Decatur, Louise Pickens, Jewell Jones and Marie Webb, all of Florence; and two granddaughters.
Pallbearers will be Frank Bynum, Shane McNeil, Pfc. Jesse Strand, Larry Roberts, Robert Bryant and Jim Fowler.

Marie B. Livingston
Services for Marie B. Livingston, 91, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001 at Moss Service Chapel, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Livingston died Friday, Nov. 2 at Woodland Village Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 7, 1909 to Edmond and Dorilla Crumbley Burgess. She was a school teacher who taught at both East and West Elementary schools and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cullman. She was also a graduate of the Peabody College of Nashville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Carpenter of Dallas, Texas; and a sister, Opal Gilley of Holly Pond.
Visitation was Monday.
