Funeral services for Eary L. Taylor Quick, 66, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at Open Bible Baptist Church, the Rev. Max Hagood officiating, with burial in Good Hope Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Quick died Monday, March 31 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1936 to Ollie Arthur and Georgia Crawford Taylor. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Ray Quick; a son, Terry Ray Henry; three daughters, Brenda Guthrie, Sheila Wessels and Linda Diane Henry; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Taylor and Arthur Taylor Jr.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday.
Nellie Mae Denton Lackey
Funeral services for Nellie Mae Denton Lackey, 84, of Huntsville will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2003, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Larry Joe Stallings and William Roberson Sr. officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Lackey died April 1 in Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 15, 1918, in Winston County. She was a retired dietician from Cullman Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Maggie Mae Miller; her husband, Grady Lackey; three brothers, Bud Miller, Johnnie Miller and Charlie Miller; three sisters, Lovie Miller, Effie Legg and Edna Mae Roden; and a grandson, Terry Grant Clark.
Survivors include two daughters, Cleo “Pat” Clark Selby and Faye Anderson, both of Huntsville; three brothers, Guy Miller of Cullman and Cecil Miller and Jimmy Miller, both of South Alabama; two sisters, Alma Cutcher of Arley and Dovie Smith of Nashville; three grandchildren, Kim Roberson of Vinemont, Chris Clark of Huntsville and Anthony Anderson of Nashville; and three great-grandchildren, Amanda Roberson, Sheena Roberson and William H. Roberson, all of Vinemont.
Visitation was Tuesday.
Rachel Dawn Oden
Funeral services for Rachel Dawn Oden, 32, of Eva will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2003 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, the Rev. Billy Gable officiating, with burial in the Childers Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Oden died Tuesday, April 1 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born in Morgan County on July 3, 1970 to Ira C. and Norma Jean Childers Oden.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include two daughters, Jasmine Martin and Jessie Martin of Eva; her father; and two brothers, Wesley J. Oden and Steven K. Oden, both of Eva.
Pallbearers will be Randy Childers, Thomas Oden, Tim Briscoe, Ray Alldredge, Kevin Humprhies and Scott Oden.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Glenell Gorham Lenz
Funeral services for Glenell Gorham Lenz, 75, of Holly Pond will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2003 at Holly Pond Chapel, the Revs. Horace Hall and Mike Hollaway officiating, with burial in Holly Pond Cemetery.

Mrs. Lenz died Wednesday, April 2 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 29, 1928 in Cullman County to Charlie and Ludie Bailey Gorham. She was a homemaker and a member of Holly Pond First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Lenz; three brothers, Kermit, Earl and Rex Gorham; and two sisters, Pelba House and Deura Gibbs.
Survivors include a brother, Charles L. (Tink) Gorham; two sisters, Addie Evans and Rhonwyn Plagman; nine nieces; and four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holly Pond Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Don Poncey, Darrell Haynes, Rielly Carr, Ben Haynes and Bill Evans.

Bondalene Robinson

Mrs. Robinson died Wednesday, April 2 at UAB Hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1936 in Winston County to Thurman and Elva Cutcher McCoy Pratt. She was a homemaker and a member of Addison Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Travis Pratt; and a sister, Doris Pratt.
Survivors include her husband, James Robinson of Addison; two sons, David (Sharon) Robinson of Birmingham and Rickey (Kay) Robinson of Addison; a daughter, Brenda (Terry) Graham of Logan; two sisters, Burnice Cummings of Florida and Betty Elkins of Georgia; and four grandchildren, Cassie Graham, Carrie Graham, Nathan Robinson and Ethan Robinson.
Visitation was Thursday.

Mrs. Hinkle died Thursday, April 3 at Birmingham. She was born in Cullman on July 15, 1948.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Hinkle of Hanceville; a son, Bill Farmer of Garden City; a stepson, Blaine Hinkle of Cullman; a brother, Charles Gamble of Cullman; a sister, Kay Neal of Birmingham; and six grandchildren, Chris Farmer, Josh Farmer, Justin Farmer, Tabitha Parson, Megan Hinkle and Joseph Nabors.

Beatrice ‘Maw Bea’ Stancil

Mrs. Stancil died Friday, April 4 at her residence. She was born Dec. 2, 1922 in Blountsville to Martin Parker and Dovie Elizabeth Morton Yates. She was a nurse aide for Cullman Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George B. Stancil; a son, Byron S. Stancil; a half-brother, Albert H. Whitworth; and a half-sister, Nellie Shore.
Survivors include four sons, James B. (Ruth) Stancil, Phillip (Linda) Stancil, David (Janie) Stancil and Huey (Nesia) Stancil; six daughters, Glenda (Hugh) Hardman, Elaine (Doug) Baker, Nita Twilley, Trish (Dewayne) Campbell, Karen (Perry) Allbritten and Angie (Tommy) Roberts, all of Cullman; a half-sister, Ann Tarvin of Albertville; 43 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Sister Eck died Wednesday, April 2 at Sacred Heart Monastery. She was born Aug. 19, 1919 in St. Florian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Henry and Henrietta Louise Beckman Eck; and a sister, Sister Jeannette Eck.
Survivors include Benedictine Sisters; seven brothers, Robert Eck, George Eck, Thomas Eck, Charles Eck, Theodore Eck, August John Eck and William Eck; and four sisters, Carrie Mae Krieger, Mary Schroeder, Genevieve Guthrie and Evelyn Norton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Florence Grabber Arndt; two brothers, Joe Arndt and Louis Arndt; and two sisters, Katherine Arndt and Esther Windsor.
