Lewis Wilburn Hill
Funeral services for Lewis Wilburn Hill, 80, of Falkville will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Peck Funeral Chapel, the Rev. David Bozeman officiating, with burial in Union Hill Cemetery.
Peck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hill died Monday, April 7 at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Jan. 27, 1923 in Morgan County to William Benjamin and Myrtle McNalley Hill. He was a member of Falkville Church of God and retired as a truck driver for Prestolite in Decatur.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Roland Hill; and his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Lee Griffith Hill of Falkville; four sons, Roy D. Hill of Decatur, Tommie Hill and Alton Hill of Falkville and Nathan Hill of Hartselle; two daughters, Martha Lawrence of Danville and Pat Moore of Cullman; a brother, Aubrey Jack Hill of Eva; a sister, Virginia Sartain of Hartselle; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wade Lawrence, Ben Lawrence, Justin Hill, Jonathan Hill, Michael Bryant, Clint Osteen and Gary Franks.
Visitation was Tuesday.
Nellie D. Teele
Funeral services for Nellie D. Teele, 80, of Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Cullman, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2003 at Richland Baptist Church, the Rev. Claude English officiating, with burial in Florida National Cemetery.
Coleman and Ferguson Funeral Home of Dade City, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Teele died Monday, April 7 at her residence. She was born in Cullman and moved to Brooksville from South Bay, Fla. She lived for 26 years in the Richland Community near Dade City, Fla. before returning to Brooksville in 1999. She was a cafeteria worker in the Palm Beach County School system and worked for many years in the poultry business in the Masaryktown and Dade City areas. She was a member of DAVA and served on the Board of the Richland Fire Association and was a member of Richland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oather Teele; and a son, Billy.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie (Danny) Manga and Gail (Murray) Foradas, all of Brooksville; two grandchildren, PFC Dona (Derald) Tacey of Ft. Sam, Houston, Texas and Jerry (Michelle) Foradas of Brooksville; three grandchildren, Christina Tacey and Connor and Carson Foradas, all of Brooksville; a sister, Edith Self of Cullman; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Wood; two aunts; and two uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Shelley J. Watson
Funeral services for Shelley J. Watson, 77, of Huntsville will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2003 at Moss Service Chapel, Dewey Briscoe officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Watson died Tuesday, April 8 at Floyd E. Tut Fann Veterans Home in Huntsville. He was born Oct. 14, 1925 in Alabama to Shelley H. and Pursie Rhoads Watson. He was a landscaper and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Myrna (Rickey) Wallace; and a grandson, Jacob Wallace.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
Cordie A. Tucker
Funeral services for Cordie A. Tucker, 83, of Cullman, are at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2003 at Williams-McCracken Chapel, Dave Bradford and Doyle Burden officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Tucker died Wednesday, April 9 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 20, 1919 in Cullman to Sylvester and Ludie Blackwood Driver. She was a sales clerk at a clothing mercantile.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Herbert and Raphael Driver, a sister, Gertrude Blackmon and a grandchild, Mark Tucker.
Survivors include her husband, Nolan R. Tucker of Cullman; two sons, Keith (Marty) Tucker and Wade (Karen) Tucker; her daughter, Judith Tucker; a brother, Eldredge Driver; a sister, Ottie Mauldin; five grandchildren, Brian Tucker, Lynette Tucker, Jenny Johnston, Kara Tucker and Karen Baggett; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Travis Wade Holcomb
Funeral services for Travis Wade Holcomb, 25, of Auburn, formerly of Bremen, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2003 at Ryans Creek Baptist Church, the Revs. Carroll Swann and Ron Foshee officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Holcomb died Sunday, April 6 in an automobile accident near Talladega. He was born Feb. 17, 1977 to Larry and Anda Swann Holcomb. He recently graduated from Auburn University with a teaching degree and had plans to return to school to earn his master’s degree.
Survivors include his parents; a sister, Jennifer Voder; his grandmother, Stella Holcomb Clingerman; two nephews, Krystofer Huffstutler and Samuel Voder; and a niece, Katie Huffstutler, all of Bremen.
Jerrell Warren ‘Bogie’ Day

Mr. Day died Saturday, April 5 in Chilton County. He was born Feb. 19, 1946 to Calvin Warren and Jay Dean Tibbs Day.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Day of Attalla; a daughter, Kim Day (Kris) Kahler of Hanceville; three stepchildren, Kenny Basham, Kimberly Watts and David Freeman; a grandchild, Keaton Kahler; a special grandson, Scotty Basham; his mother; two brothers, Danny Day and Rusty Day; and three sisters, Denise Marsh, Darlene Carty and Tina Cook.
Mary Lois Howell
Graveside services for Mary Lois Howell, 83, of Oneonta will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2003 at South Cemetery near Blountsville, Clatus NeSmith officiating.

Ms. Howell died Tuesday, April 8 at Beverly Healthcare. She was born in Alabama to James and Mary Eva Leake. She was a secretary-bookkeeper with National Garage, was of the Methodist faith and was a former member of the Pink Ladies, the Baptist Medical Center Montclair volunteer auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Vera Parvin.
Survivors include two sons, Frank (Sandra) Howell, Joe D. (Sandra) Howell both of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Susan (Rodney) Bates, Rusty (Carrie) Howell; and one great-grandchild, Brody Bates.

Margie Wideman Farmer Ratliff Johnson

Mrs. Ratliff died Tuesday, April 8 at her residence. She was born Dec. 12, 1933 in Shelby County to Albert and Myrtle Frith Wideman.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her companion, Levoid “Nub” Baxter; three sons, John P. (Janice) Farmer of Eva, Gary Ratliff of Texas and Randy (Phylis) Ratliff of Ashville; two daughters, Martha (Buddy) Hooper of Cullman and Lisa (Butch) Fant of Ashville; a brother, Albert “Buddy” (Beth) Wideman of Birmingham; three sisters, Nancy (Rick) Ellis of Orlando, Fla., Jan McCarty of Birmingham and Cathy (Tommy) Watkins of Cullman; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
