Services for Mary Shaw, 91, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2001 at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Holly Pond Cemetery.

Mrs. Shaw died Saturday, Nov. 3 at at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born in Cullman County on July 5, 1910 to Johnnie David and Katie Luca Estes Harris. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Shaw; brother, Lelton Harris; and sister, Dessie Heaton.
Survivors include two brothers, Alvin Harris of Cullman, Dalton Harris of Holly Pond; and special niece and nephew, Noell and Brenda Harris of Cullman.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Hershel Ray
Services for Hershel Ray, 80, of Clay will be at noon, Monday, Nov. 5, 2001 at Jefferson Memorial Trussville Chapel, Cecil Smith and Tommy Gray officiating, with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.

Mr. Ray died Friday, Nov. 2. He was a member of Clear Brach Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Latino.
Survivors include his wife, Gaynell Ray; daughters, Cathy Moats, Becki Latino; sons-in-law, Sam Latino and Ken Moats; sister, Gaynell Latham of Cullman; two brothers, Arco Ray of Cullman, Cephas Ray of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Dawn Cross, Jayme Hopper; and three great-grandchildren, Ricky Latino II, Whitney Cross, Ashley Cross.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Latino, Sam Latino, Kary Cross, Don Conwell, Danny Brown, Gene Pinkard.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Janet Borgarding
Services for Janet Borgarding, 84, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2001 at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home Chapel in South Holland, Ill., with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lansing, Ill. A wake will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Borgarding died Thursday, Nov. 1 at Heritage Manor in Monteagle, Tenn. She was born in Harvey, Ill., on May 30, 1917 to William and Cornelia Van De Graf Brand. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Raymond Borgarding.
Survivors include her son, Donald Borgarding of Paris, Tenn.; daughter, Sharon Martine of Vinemont; two sisters, Anna Gain of Aurora, Ill., Louise Gonlag of Frankfurt, Ill.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Ruby S. Taylor
Graveside services for Ruby S. Taylor, 86, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001 at Jones Chapel Cemetery, the Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.

Mrs. Taylor died Thursday, Nov. 1 at Folsom Center. She was born Nov. 11, 1914 in Cullman County to Huel O. and Myrtie Buckelew Cruce. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.C. Taylor; her son, Edward Taylor; and her two sisters, Blanche Cruce and Bernice Bryant.
Survivors include a daughter, Delray (Charles) O’Rear of Cullman; three grandchildren, Pam (Helmut) Jakubowicz of Surrey, England, Wade O’Rear of Gainesville and Steven (Harriet) O’Rear of Cloudland, Ga.; and two great grandchildren, Kara and Adam Jakubowicz of Surrey, England.

Billy Ray Weaver
Services for Billy Ray Weaver, 47, of Decatur will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Carol Drinkard officiating, with burial in Simcoe Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Weaver died Thursday, Nov. 1 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 9, 1954 in Cullman County to C.B. and Mary Estelle League Weaver. He was a drywall installer for S and W Drywall.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hughes Weaver of Decatur; a son, William Weaver of Decatur; a daughter, Tonia Weaver of Decatur; three brothers, Marvin (Sue) Weaver, Danny (Carol) Weaver and Wendall (JoAnn) Weaver, all of Cullman; and five sisters, Eva (Alton) Stone and Edith (Bobby) Ballenger, both of Moulton, Esther (Bob) Baker, Judy (Homer) Bennett and Linda (Roger) Seals, all of Cullman.

Barry Lee Clements
Services for Barry Lee Clements, 38, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001 at Hanceville First Baptist Church, the Revs. David McGowin and David McDonald officiating, with burial in Fairview West Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Clements died Thursday, Nov. 1 at his residence. He was born Oct. 2, 1963 in Cullman to James Allen and Charlotte Cook Clements. He was in management.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents, Clara Clements, Dallas Clements and David Cook.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Clements; his parents; two daughters, Leslie Clements and Victoria Clements; a stepson, Jeffery Reel; two brothers, Brent Clements and Brian Clements; and a grandmother, Lillie Cook, all of Hanceville.
Visitation was Friday.
Grady Curtis Burks
Services for Grady Curtis Burks, 62, of Memphis, Tenn., will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Tim Pinkard officiating, with burial in Center Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Burks died Thursday, Nov. 1 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis. He was born in Cullman County on July 26, 1939 to Walter Henry Burks and Velma Idell Yeager Burks Gravette.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Evelyn Burks Rodenbach.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, William E. Gravette of Vinemont; brother, Donald Edward Burks of Vinemont; sister, Mary Sue Acred of Memphis; four nieces, Betty Bright McCaughlin of Ripley, Miss., Mavis Morton, Gina Acred, Michele Acred all of Memphis; and five nephews, Carl Dean Bright of Memphis, Tim O’Donnell of Venice, Fla., Eddie Burks, Phil Burks both of Vinemont, Billy Rodenbach of Birmingham.

Gray of Bangor, Mich.; two sisters, Clara Rodgers of Decatur and Virgie Owens of Athens; two brothers, Charles Gray of Decatur and Marion Gray of Moulton; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
