Services for Vester Corbin, 77, of Hanceville were Monday, Dec. 24, 2001 at Hanceville Funeral Home, the Rev. Trueman Davis officiating, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.
Hanceville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Corbin died Sunday, Dec. 23 in Hanceville. He was born in Cullman on Feb. 12, 1924 to Richard and Emma Miller Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Morgan Corbin of Hanceville; two daughters, Joyce (Gene Hall) Corbin and Brenda (Scott) Lucas, both of Hanceville; and two grandsons, Corbin Lucas and Matthew Lucas, both of Hanceville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Cullman County.
Visitation was Sunday.
Roy Jack Mayo
Services for Roy Jack Mayo, 71, of Blountsville, formerly of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2001 at Hanceville Funeral Home, the Rev. James Moore officiating, with burial in Fairview West Cemetery.

Mr. Mayo died Friday, Dec. 21. He was born in Cullman County on Jan. 14, 1930 to Bill and Mammie Basinger Mayo. He was a miner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Charlene Benton; and his sister, Cathrine Garner.
Survivors include his wife, Merl Simmons Mayo of Blountsville; two daughters, Joy Abney of Hanceville and Debbie Mayo of Casper, Wyo.; and two sons, Bill Mayo of Riverton, Wyo. and Jack Mayo Jr. of Casper, Wyo.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mildred Mae Hestla
Services for Mildred Mae Hestla, 86, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001 at Hopewell Baptist Church, the Rev. Trueman Davis officiating, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Hestla died Monday, Dec. 24 in Cullman. She was born in Hanceville on Jan. 5, 1915 to Lonzo Britton and Elizabeth Bethany Blanche Hammond. She was a manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a son, Bobby (Johnnie) G. Hestla of Hanceville; a daughter, Jane (Daril) Tolbert of Hanceville; six grandchildren, Mark Hestla, Mike (Karen) Hestla and Katherine Waldrop, all of Hanceville, Mitch (Janet) Hestla of Holly Pond, Blake Tolbert of Louisa, Va. and Jeff Tolbert of Florence; and four great-grandchildren, Chelsie Hestla, Lindsay Hestla, Kyle Waldrop and Taylor Nicole Waldrop.
Visitation was Wednesday.
Olma L. Ryan
Services for Olma L. Ryan, 89, of Hanceville will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2001 at Fairview West Baptist Church, the Revs. Richard Bailey and Marvin Bryan officiating, with burial in Fairview West Cemetery.

Mrs. Ryan died Wednesday, Dec. 26 in Cullman. She was born in Alabama on March 29, 1912 to James and Mary Ballard Alexander. She was a laborer.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sisters, Kathleen Dean and Mildred Vincent, both of Hanceville; two grandsons, Danny Ryan of Hanceville and David (Tina) Ryan of Cullman; a great-grandchild, Sarah Ryan; and a niece, Brenda Bailey of Hanceville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Patricia Anne Munger
Services for Patricia Anne Munger, 69, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001 at Sacred Heart Church, Fr. John O’Donnell officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Munger died Sunday, Dec. 23 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1932 in Berlin Heights, Ohio to James O. and Genevieve Reising Meredith. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William James Munger; and her sister, Janice Hicks.
Survivors includes five sons, James (Karen) Munger, Billy (Carmen) Munger, Matt (Sheila) Munger, all of Cullman, Tom (Melanie) Munger of Hartselle and David (Sherry) Munger of Hanceville; a daughter, Christy Lynn Munger of New York City, New York; a sister, Cynthia Saska of San Antonio, Texas; five granddaughters, Jennifer Gillispie of Earlysville, Va., Amanda Munger and Bree Munger, both of Hartselle, Brittany Munger of Hanceville, and Meredith Munger of Cullman; six grandsons, Jason Munger of Hanceville, Michael Munger, Theo Munger, Adam Munger, Benjamin Munger and Daniel Munger, all of Cullman; and two great-grandchildren, Connor and Cassidy Gillispie of Earlysville, Va.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Cullman County, the American Cancer Society or to Sacred Heart Church.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Lorah Boyd Waddle
Services for Lorah Boyd Waddle, 75, of Lake Wales, Fla. will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, the Revs. Kelly Galati, John Hodge and Earnest Hodge officiating, with burial in Lake Wales Cemetery.

Mrs. Waddle died Monday, Dec. 24 at her residence. She was born in Morgan County on April 7, 1926. She was a homemaker and attended First Assembly of God in Frostproof, Fla. She and her husband owned and operated James Maintenance in Miami, Fla. for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Boyd.
Survivors include her husband, R.L. Waddle of Lake Wales; two daughters, Leigh Nelda Kemmitt of Huntsville and Laquetta Leal of Lake Wales; a sister, Olean Bailey of Cullman; three brothers, Tineth Boyd of Decatur, Lenis Boyd of Vinemont and L.D. Boyd of Eva; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepard Hospice or Lake Wales Care Center.

Melvin Lee Harbison
Services for Melvin Lee Harbison, 77, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2001 at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home Chapel, Jerry Hall officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mr. Harbison died Thursday, Dec. 20 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Cullman on March 22, 1924 to John II and Martha Lay Harbison. He was a salesman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thomas Harbison and John “Hill” Harbison; and one sister, Corene Harbison.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Eidson Harbison of Cullman; son, Terry Lee Harbison of Hanceville; daughter, Rhonda (Ron) Motes of Cullman; and five sisters, Flora Moore, Laura Griggs both of Cullman, Madge Davis of Hanceville, Lorraine Pickerill of California, Theolene Moon of Las Vegas, Nev.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
Sister Josephine Brumbach
Services for Sister Josephine Brumbach, 86, of Cullman will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001 at Sacred Heart Monastery, the Rev. Thomas O’Connor officiating, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

She died Thursday, Dec. 20 at her residence. She was born in Jefferson County on Feb. 12, 1914 to James Thomas and Mary Nieman Brumbach. She was a teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lucille Brumbach, Josephine Brumbach; and three brothers, Howard Brumbach, George Robert Brumbach, John Herman Brumbach.
Survivors include the Benedictine Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Brumbach of Orange Park, Fla., Frances Brumbach of Fayettville, Ga.; and three nieces, Christine Gardner of Tyrone, Ga., Debby Brumbach, Bridget Brumbach both of Jacksonville, Fla.
