Services for Doris Louise Goodwin, 60, of Dodge City will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, Dan Anderson, Dudley Brock, and David McDonald officiating, with burial in Valley Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Goodwin died Saturday, Feb. 9 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born March 29, 1941 to J.K. and Sudie Mae Bradshaw Thomas. She was the owner/operator of the Highway 69 Skating Rink from 1974-1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Joseph Marvin Thomas.
Survivors include her husband, S.T. “Bull” Goodwin; two sons, Kenny (Brenda) Goodwin and Anthony “Tony” Goodwin; a sister, Edna (John) Schnatz; four grandchildren, Coty and Kandiss Goodwin, Josh and Mandy Widner; and four great-grandchildren, Aerial and Jade Sanford and Emily and Breana Widner.

Lucy S. Wilhite
Services for Lucy S. Wilhite, 96, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002 at Vinemont Baptist Church, Jim Abbott officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Wilhite died Sunday, Feb. 10 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born May 19, 1905 in Alabama. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allison Sellers.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Ray DeMonia, David Demonia, and Denise Demonia; two great-grandchildren, Stephanie DeMonia and Raven Demonia; and a sister, Ellen Armstrong.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
James E. Hardyman
Graveside services for James E. Hardyman, 74, of Cullman will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002 at Cullman City Cemetery, Larry Nail officiating.

Mr. Hardyman died Monday, Feb. 11 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 24, 1928 to William L. and Bell Weaver Hardyman. He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Rachel (Joseph K.) Ward of Scottsboro and Deborah (Thomas) Pancherz of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Bill (Leatrice) Hardyman of Cullman and Don (Phoebe) Hardyman of Clanton; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon today.
Bruce Alan Cason
Memorial services for Bruce Alan Cason, 36, of Cullman were Monday, Feb. 11, 2002 at Williams-McCracken Chapel, the Rev. Barry Gardner officiating.

Mr. Cason died Saturday, Feb. 9 at his residence. He was born Nov. 10, 1965 in Oneonta to Joseph Lamar and Ruth Olivie Isabell Cason. He worked in customer service at Auto Zone.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Lamar Cason.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Cason of Cullman; six brothers, Joe (Carol) Cason, Jerry (Pam) Cason, Kenneth (Linda) Cason, all of Cullman, Darrell (Debbie) Cason of Texas, Roger (Cathy) Cason of Oklahoma and Thomas (Kay) Cason of Warrior; a sister, Annette (Greg) Baughman of Cullman.

Jerry Wayne Miller
Services for Jerry Wayne Miller, 48, of Cullman were Monday, Feb. 11, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, James Edmondson officiating, with burial in Dripping Springs Road Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mr. Miller died Saturday, Feb. 9 at his residence. He was born April 16, 1953 in Cullman County. He was a laborer for Wayne Farms.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Miller.
Survivors include his mother, Myrtle Miller of Vinemont; five brothers, Curtis Miller of Cullman, Bobby Miller, Garvin Miller, Gary Miller and Danny (Sherrie) Miller, all of Vinemont; and four sisters, Dorothy (Sherril) Baker of Arley, Shelba (Harold) Gaines of Florida, Judy (William) Hale of Baileyton and Brenda (James) Tarvin of Hillsboro.

Essie Morrison Smithson

Mrs. Smithson died Sunday, Feb. 10 at Woodland Village Health Care. She was born May 31, 1917 in St. Clair County to Perry Marion and Lucy Mickle Morrison. She was a member of North Gardendale Baptist Church and a former founding member of Ketona Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, W. Haskell Smithson.
Survivors include her husband, Marshall R. Smithson; three sons, F.Drennon Smithson Sr. of Vinemont, Gerry M. Smithson of Limestone County and Michael D. Smithson of Gardendale; a daughter, Carolyn S. Cane of Birmingham; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Ether Stamps of Chelsea; and a brother, Vester Morrison of Cordelle, Ga.

Calvin Forrest Freeman
Services for Calvin Forrest Freeman, 76, of Cullman were Monday, Feb. 11, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, the Revs. Bill Burkette, Jeffery Gardner and Jack Collins officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mr. Freeman died Saturday, Feb. 9 at Floyd “Tut” Fann Veteran’s Home. He was born June 23, 1925 in Cullman County to Martin Taylor and Buna Peak Freeman. He worked for Americold and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ervin Freeman, Talmadge Freeman and Leldon Freeman; a sister, Berdie Wren; and a grandson, Kevin Ray Gardner.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Wood Freeman of Cullman; a son, Steve (Tena) Freeman of Cullman; two daughters, Deborah (Bobby) Gardner of Decatur and Martha (David) Garrison of Cullman; a brother, O.J. Freeman of Cullman; seven grandchildren, Jeff (Jennifer) Gardner, Zachery Freeman, Brittany Freeman, Joshua Garrison, Caleb Garrison, Melda (Mike) Thornton and Derrick (Priscilla) Garrison; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Cullman County or Gideon Bibles.

Hazel Marie Smith
Services for Hazel Marie Smith, 82, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002 at Riverside Baptist Church, the Revs. Douglas Pitts and Greg Alldredge officiating, with burial in Duck River Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith died Saturday, Feb. 9 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 31, 1919 in Cullman to John and Miranda Dunaway. She was a production worker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a son, Bobby (Ruth) Smith of Hanceville; a sister, Jessie Overton of Florida; two grandchildren, Berney (Donna) Smith and Susan (Andy) Walls, both of Hanceville; and four great-grandchildren, Byron Smith, Rhonda Smith, Amber Walls and Johnathon Walls.

William Oswald Keller
Services for William Oswald Keller, 83, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002 at Hanceville Funeral Home, the Rev. Jerry Lawson officiating, with burial in Welti Cemetery.

Mr. Keller died Sunday, Feb. 10 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born in Cullman on Aug. 31, 1918 to William Cofer and Lanora Giles Keller. He was a supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Carol Keller and Bobby (Peggy) Keller, both of Cullman; two brothers, Jesse Keller of Cullman and Ottis Keller of Hanceville; three sisters, Dean Medlock and Sue Mims, both of Cullman and Dorothy Ray of Gardendale; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mary Noble Donohue
Graveside services for Mary Noble Donohue, 70, of Warrior will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002 at Crestview Memorial Cemetery, Jimmy Bradford officiating.

Mrs. Donohue died Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Cullman Health Care Center. She was born Sept. 16, 1931 in Alabama to Winnie Dee and Maggie Mae Walton Glover. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Larry Ennis Waits and Travis Dee Waits.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa K. Hemingway of Nebraska; two sisters, Helen Bradford of Graysville and Gertrude Wesson of Muscle Shoals; a brother, W.D. Glover Jr. of Muscle Shoals; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday.

Survivors include his wife, Kristi White Westmoreland of Vinemont; his parents, Roland and Mickey Westmoreland of Cullman; a son, Zachary Westmoreland; a daughter, Kendra Westmoreland; a sister, Michela Wade of Cullman; his grandmother, Geneva Oliver of Cullman; his mother-in-law, Louise White of Cullman; his father-in-law, Elton White of Fultondale; a brother-in-law, Audie (Vicki) White of Florida; and four sisters-in-law, Cindy (Bernard) Graveman, Susan (Michael) Freeman, Pam (Marlin) Crumbley and Becky (Dale) Henderson, all of Cullman.
