Services for Weyman Eugene Williams, 81, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002 at Williams-McCracken Chapel, the Rev. Samuel Tucker officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Williams died Monday, Feb. 11 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 9, 1921 to Wesley and Ora Williams. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Phillips of Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
Mary June Dyer
Services for Mary June Dyer, 66, of Cullman will be at noon Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002 at Williams-McCracken Chapel, the Rev. Jimmy Baker officiating, with burial in Center Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Dyer died Monday, Feb. 11 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born June 30, 1935 in Hickman County, Tenn. to Claudie and Flossie Hinson Hime. She was a supervisor for Cullman Industries.
Survivors include her mother, Flossie Hime of Cullman; her husband, Jim Dyer of Cullman; a brother, Howard Hime of Virginia; and two sisters, Jean Rogers of Philadelphia, Pa. and Dorothy Foster of Huntsville.
Visitation was Tuesday.
John Edward Calligaris
Services for John Edward Calligaris, 7 days, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fr. Kevin McGrath officiating, with burial in the City Cemetery.

He died Monday, Feb. 11 at U.A.B. Hospital. He was born Feb. 4 in Cullman to Tony and Maleigh Calligaris.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Benjamin and Samuel Calligaris; a sister, Elizabeth Calligaris; and grandparents, Ben and Ruby Johnson and Elvy and Mary Calligaris.
Visitation was Wednesday.

Mr. McCain died Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born June 6, 1925 to Joseph and Ludie Bell James McCain. He was retired from Americold.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Eulala Murphree McCain; a daughter, JoAnn Phillips; a stepdaughter, Rita (Bart) Ferguson; three sisters, Lena (Enoch) Langley, Bernice Seymore, Jacque (Bob) Watson; two grandchildren, Joey and Andy Phillips; one step-grandchild, Kyle Ferguson; and two great-grandchildren.

George R. King
Services for George R. King, 89, of Houston, Texas will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Damon Olson officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. King died Sunday, Feb. 10 at his residence. He was born Oct. 12, 1912 in Covington County. He was a furniture maker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Bessie Manning King.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Webb King of Texas; a son, George Edward (Susan) King of California; five daughters, Evelyn (Douglas) Tennis of Florida, Kathleen (Robert) Carroll of Georgia, Christine (R.L.) Thomas, Mary (Charles) Malone of Oklahoma and Linda D. King of Texas; a granddaughter, Michelle Tucker of Texas; and a sister, Nell (Arthur) Case of Covington County.

Services for Dora L. Scott, 97, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2002 at Mt. Grove Baptist Church, the Revs. Jimmy Scott and Mark Long officiating, with burial in Mt. Grove Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Scott died Wednesday, Feb. 13 in Cullman. She was born in Cullman County on July 27, 1904 to Almarine and Dessie Eason Cone. She was a farmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.O. Scott; and her daughter, Ruth Pitts.
Survivors include two sons, Clellon Scott of Hanceville and Edward Scott of Battleground; two daughters, Opal Dunn and Irene VonHieber, both of Hanceville; a brother, Fletcher Cone of Vinemont; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife and the mother of his children, Loney Schmale.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie B. Schmale of Cullman; two sons, Craig Lamar Schmale of Hanceville, Ricky Allen Schmale of Cullman; four grandchildren, Kevin Schmale, Daniel Schmale, Michelle Schmale, Wade Schmale; one great-grandchild, Caleb Schmale; and one sister, Olga Louis Schmale of Portland, Ore.

Tom Dodson, 75, of Cullman died Thursday, Feb. 14 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Suggs died Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 27, 1907 to George Lee and Virginia St. John Murphy. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darb L. Suggs; two sons, Doyle Suggs and Norman K. Suggs; a son-in-law, L.D. Slaughter; a grandson, David Slaughter; and a great-grandson, Nathaniel Suggs.
Survivors include a son, George (Jewel) Suggs of Cullman; a daughter, Sherbie Slaughter of Bessemer; a sister, Margie Bates of Tarrant; nine grandchildren, Connie (Craig) Douglas, Debbie (Dan) Lynn, Jeff Suggs, Eura (Austin) Brewer, Brenda (Larry) Stripling, George (Patsy) Suggs, Roger (Cheryl) Suggs, Barry Suggs and Daniel Slaughter; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Murphree died Wednesday, Feb. 13 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1921 in Cullman County to Hugh and Ruthie Hendrix Murphree. He was a farmer and attended Union Grove Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Zilla Granade Murphree of Holly Pond; his son, Hughlen (Sylvia) Murphree of Holly Pond; two daughters, Wanda (Charles) York of Welti and Judy (Bob) Vandergrift of Cullman; four sisters, Louise White of Birmingham, Tula Mae White of Gadsden, Eulalah Moore of Cullman and Audie Sue Kelsoe of Blountsville; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Hagemore and Howard J. Hagemore, both of Cullman; a sister, Estelle Jones of West Point; 28 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
