Services for Ila Louise Day, 80, of Hanceville, were Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002 at Hanceville Funeral Chapel, the Rev. J.B. Snider and Dr. David McGowin officiating, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Day died Sunday, Feb. 24 at her residence. She was born March 8, 1921 in Morgan County to Gordon and Pearl Payne Sandlin. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Mayburn Day.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Larry) Cornelius of Hanceville; two sons, Freddie (Judy) Day of Cullman and Larry (Joyce) Day of Delphois, Ohio; five brothers, Alton Sandlin and Gerald Sandlin, both of Cullman, Billy Sandlin, Jack Sandlin and Charles Sandlin, all of Hanceville; five grandchildren, Molly (Chad) Argood, Kenneth (Tammy) Cornelius, Mark (Amy) Cornelius, Brent Day and Shawn (Tim) Schiehl; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Argood and Garrett Cornelius.
Visitation was Wednesday.
Audie Lynn Cramer
Services for Audie Lynn Cramer, 75, of Centreville will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2002 at Center Point Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state an hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Cramer died Tuesday, Feb. 26 at her residence. She was born in Cullman County on March 20, 1926 to W.R. “Willie” and Elsie Weeks. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Tony Cramer; and her sister, Radihr Faye Luther.
Survivors include her mother; son, James (Shelia) Wright of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Trella (Roy) Kinney of Hoquiam, Wash., Betty (Marvis) Nichols of Centreville; three brothers, Wesley Owen Weeks, William Maurice Weeks, James Earnie Weeks all of Cullman; two sisters, Lucy Fraley, JoAnn Castleberry both of Cullman; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon today at the funeral home.
Jewel Adeline White
Services for Jewel Adeline White, 83, of Sacramento, Calif., will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2002 at Church of Christ in Yuba City, Calif., Raymond Fox officiating, with burial in Gridley Biggs Cemetery.

Mrs. White died Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento. She was born Dec. 12, 1918 in Alabama, one of 10 children of Marvin and Marilla Persall. She was a long-time resident of Gridley and the Yuber-Sutter area.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin O. White; five brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, Melvin “Hobert” White of Sacramento, Calif.; five daughters, Patricia White Cerro of Cullman; Camellia Domenigoni of Gridley, Calif.; Sharon Mueller of Lindsay, Calif., Elizabeth Moore and Robbie Young, both of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Hazel Hathcote of Cullman and Myrtle Nichols of San Bruno, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the church.
Hollis B. White
Services for Hollis B. White, 80, of Oxford will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2002 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Randy Hayes officiating, with burial in Emeus Cemetery.

Mr. Whited died Thursday, Feb. 28 at Beverly Healthcare in Oxford.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Myra Jean Lackey.
Survivors include his wife, Bea White; three sons, Larry White, Gary White both of Sylacauga, Richard White of Delta; daughter, Sheila Rozier of Ohatchee; sister, Edna Thelene Hines of Ashville; eight grandchildren, Chad Lackey, Lori Mount, Brandi Wills, Christy Gallops, Melissa Jackson, Daphne Hudson, Wendy Cleveland, James White; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry White, Buddy White, Bill Burgess, David Hall, Dick Thompson, George Smith.

Bernice Swann Quick Sandlin
Services for Bernice Swann Quick Sandlin, 84, of Morgan County, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2002 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Buell Hunkapiller officiating, with burial in Center Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Sandlin died Thursday, Feb. 28 at Falkville Nursing Home. She was born July 28, 1917 in Cullman to William and Elza Young Swann. She was a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Richard Larry (Pat) Quick.
Survivors include a daughter, Juanita (Dudley) Latta of Hanceville; two sons, Charles (Lou) Quick of Cullman and Willis (Linda) Quick of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a brother, Dewey Swann of Bangor; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday.
Reba Mae Freeman

Mr. Bolding died Saturday, Feb. 23 at his residence. He was born Oct. 22, 1937 in Morgan County to Ernest and Verna Tullis Bolding. He was a forklift driver for Nicholson File and a member of the Masonic Lodge at Baileyton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Pamela Bolding Jones; and his brother, Danny Bolding.
Survivors include a grandson, Joshua Jones of Cullman; and three sisters, Lois (Milford) Humphries and Pauline Bishop, both of Morgan County, and Betty (Billy) Fleming of Marshall County.

She died Thursday, Feb. 28 at Marshall Medical Center North. She was born in Winston County on Sept. 25, 1912 to Henry and Susie Lowe Burden. She was a retired produce worker for King Phaar and was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Jerry Keller.
Survivors include two nephews, Butch Keller and Dylan Keller, both of Baileyton; a niece, Judy Yeager of Baileyton; three brothers, Talmadge Burden, Bud Burden, James Burden of Arab; and three sisters, Lorene Wisener of Cullman, Bernie Johnson of Welcome and Audie Maze of Baileyton.
Manuel E. ‘Cupp’ Jackson
Services for Manuel E. “Cupp” Jackson, 79, of the Brooklyn community will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2002 at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, Jimmy Martin officiating, with burial in Brooklyn Cemetery.

Mr. Jackson died Saturday, March 2 at his residence. He was born in Cullman County on Aug. 13, 1922 to Marion and Leslie Turner Jackson. He was a retired welding instructor at Wallace State College and a member of Walter Baptist Church. He was a highly decorated veteran of World War II. He was a charter member of C&W Hunting Club and was beat committee chairman for Brooklyn for more than 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Belva “Mutt” Hamvey Jackson; two brothers, P.Q. Jackson, Marion Jackson Jr.; and one grandson, Jon Jackson.
Survivors include his son, Lynn (Frances) Jackson of Holly Pond; two daughters, Joyce Treptau of Good Hope, Sheila (Marlon) Bennett of Cleveland; two brothers, Odis “Red” Jackson of Michigan, Elmer Jackson of West Limestone; seven grandchildren, Lisa Speegle, Jennifer Lee, Samantha Jackson all of Holly Pond, Lanette Treptau, Brett Treptau both of Good Hope, Jancinta Brooks of Morgan City, Stephanie Mayo of Arab; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will close friends and a military honor guard.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Dale McAnnally of Cullman, Ralph McAnnally of Deatsville; one sister, Lurene Merrill of Fairhope; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Carl Edward Wilson
Services for Carl Edward Wilson, 85, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, Trueman Davis and Winford Haynes officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Wilson died Saturday, March 2 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Kentucky on March 28, 1916 to Elmer and Nervia Wilson. He was a retired worker of Lodge and Shipleys for 43 years in Cincinnati. He was a 40-year member of the Masons, worked for Wal-Mart for five years and was involved in lawn care and security work.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Carl Edward Wilson Jr.; two brothers, Earl Wilson, Houston Wilson; and two sisters, Bonnie Hardrick, Georgia Hegemon.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene Hayes Wilson of Hanceville; two sons, Jimmy (Connie) Wilson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Harrold (Nancy) Shell of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Patty Adams of Cincinnati; sister, Zelma Dammron of Hanceville; three brothers, Homer (Donna) Wilson of Amhurst, Ohio, Jim (Brenda) Wilson of Tateville, Ky., Ray Lee (Virginia) Wilson of Kansas City, Ky.; and 13 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hopewell Baptist Church.
