Hollan Roland Beasley

Services for Hollan Roland Beasley, 64, of Addison will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Nichols Funeral Chapel, Alvis Treece officiating, with burial in Enmondfield Cemetery.

Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Beasley died Monday, March 11 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip and Donnie Kerr of Birmingham; three daughters, Hollie Kritner of Mobile, Cynthia Holloway and Darlene Kerr, both of Birmingham; eight grandchildren; a brother, Sherlyn Beasley of Addison; and a sister, Mildred Simms of Florida.

Angeline Louise Wood

Services for Angeline Louise Wood, 80, of Addison were Thursday, March 7, 2002, at Friendship Baptist Church, Glen Wood officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

Nichols Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wood died Tuesday, March 5 at U.A.B. Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Wood; and a sister, Helen Frymark of Flint, Mich.

Grace B. McNabb
Graveside services for Grace B. McNabb, 100, of Montgomery will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Cullman City Cemetery, Dr. Edwin Hayes officiating.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McNabb died Wednesday, March 13 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. She was born Jan. 9, 1902 in Alabama to Charles W. and Maude Spinkes Bradford. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Walter W. McNabb.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Grace Wilson and Dorothy (John) Hughes, both of Montgomery; two sons, Walter D. (Jo) McNabb of Huntsville and Fred (JoAnn) McNabb of Guntersville; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Marie Lamont

Services for Marie Lamont, 85, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. David McDonald officiating, with burial in Fairview West Cemetery.

Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lamont died Wednesday, March 13 at her residence. She was born Jan. 20, 1917 in Cullman County. She was in production at Blue Bell.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Baker; her husband, Lewis Lamont; and her son, James Lamont.

Survivors include a son, Loran (Caila) Lamont of Cullman; a daughter-in-law, Kay Lamont of Cullman; a sister, Ann Robinson of Texarkana, Ark.; and four grandchildren, Randall Lamont of Cullman, Kristi (Ben) Ellis of Birmingham, Brett Lamont of Baltimore, Md. and Sherri Lamont of Birmingham.

Visitation was Thursday.

Hoover ‘Hover’ Johnson

Services for Hoover ‘Hover’ Johnson, 84, of Falkville will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002, at Powell’s Chapel Church, the Revs. Bill Partridge and Nathan Green officiating, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state four hours prior to the service.

Peck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, March 13 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 12, 1917 in Morgan County to William Parks and Daisy Magaline Mewbourn Johnson. He was a retired master welder at Decatur Iron and Steel and a member of Miracle Church of Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Pauline Johnson of Falkville; two sons, Bill Johnson and Wade Johnson, both of Birmingham; two daughters, Nancy Carol Johnson Green and Margene Johnson McGee, both of Falkville; a brother, Grady Johnson of Trafford; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Howard Turney, Lucky Burnside, Bubba McGee, George Green, Raymond Taylor and Ronnie Hightower.

Visitation was Thursday.

Audie Morgan Manley

Services for Audie Morgan Manley, 71, of Hartselle will be at 3 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Tommy Smothers officiating, with burial in Moss Chapel Cemetery.

Peck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Manley died Wednesday, March 13 at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1931 in Cullman County to Albert Henry and Alice Walker Posey.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, William Manley of Hartselle; three sons, David Morgan of Decatur, Derric Morgan and Dale Morgan, both of Lacey Springs; a daughter, Brenda Motes of Somerville; four brothers, Harold Posey of Somerville, Floyd Posey and Robert Posey, both of Decatur, and Dee Posey of Trinity; three sisters, Christine Hartselle of Decatur, Ora Dean Holbert of Trinity and Beula Brown of Price ville; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Alvin Morgan, Matt Bomar, Jimmy Morgan, Brandon Morgan, Bobby Henson and Owen Manley.

Visitation was Thursday.

Annie Mae Nunnelley
Services for Annie Mae Nunnelley, 90, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Sherrill Hill officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Nunnelley died Thursday, March 14 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born Aug. 28, 1911 to John and Etta Hanes Mauter. She was a retired butcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Mary Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, C.M. “Cam” Nunnelley; and two sisters, Helen Cooper and Evelyn Vest, both of Cullman.

Visitation was Friday.

Ather Minos Feemster

Services for Ather Minos Feemster, 75, of Hartselle will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2002, at Holly Pond Funeral Chapel, Truman Harris officiating, with burial in Holly Pond Cemetery.

Holly Pond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Feemster died Friday, March 15 at his residence. He was born Sept. 17, 1926 in Cullman County to Samuel M. and Noxie Lee McCutcheon Feemster. He worked for General Motors and was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Ruth McKleroy Feemster of Hartselle; a son, Kevin (Penny) Feemster of Hartselle; three daughters, Deborah Dabiero of Allen Park, Mich., Phyllis (Joe) Schim of Saline, Mich. and Donna Feemster of Hartselle; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Kelly Ratliff Grizzard
Services for Kelly Ratliff Grizzard, 38, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Bobby Smith officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Grizzard died Friday, March 15 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cullman County on July 14, 1963. She was a cosmetologist at Style Masters Beauty Salon.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jon David Ratliff; and her grandparents, C.B. and Labelle Ratliff and George Morgan.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony Joe Grizzard of Cullman; parents, Ronald and Ruth Mulligan of Cullman; grandmother, Ruth Morgan of Cullman; daughter, Chandra Daniel of Vinemont; brother, Jon David Ratliff Jr. of Birmingham; and sister, Sandy (Lee) Creel of Cullman.

Visitation was Saturday.

Esma Bontrager Carr

Graveside services for Esma Bontrager Carr, 80, formerly of Cullman, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2002 at Cullman Memory Gardens.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Carr died Thursday, March 14 at St. Joseph Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark. She was born Jan. 31, 1922.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dwight “Bob” Thomas Bontrager and David Verbo Carr; son, Steven Philip Bontrager; and three stepchildren, Jannett Williams, Vernon Carr, Alice Higgingbottom.

Survivors include one son, Michael (Mickey) Bontrager of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; stepdaughter, Hazel Colboch of Falkville; brother, Artis Hendrix of Greenville, S.C.; sister, Betty Lowery Burkam of Zephyrhills, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

Carl Webster Davis Sr.

Services for Carl Webster Davis Sr., 87, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, Tony Tidwell officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Davis died Saturday, March 16 at Woodland Village Healthcare. He was born Aug. 9, 1914 to William and Etta Hill Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene Dearman Davis; three sisters, Lola Davis, Eileen Priddy, Amanda Cook; and one brother, Leonard Davis.

Survivors include one son, Carl (Janie) Davis Jr. of Cullman; one daughter, Betty (Howard) King of Cullman; two sisters, Opal Gillentine of Pulaski, Tenn., Luna Priddy of Tupelo, Miss.; four grandchildren, Julia Davis (Robert) Freyre, Michael Davis, Jill King (Yoshi) Mizumoto all of Atlanta, Dr. Brett (Amanda) King of Muscle Shoals; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
