Services for Willie Louise Treece, 78, of Addison will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at Nichols Funeral Home, Alvis Treece officiating, with burial in Free Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Treece died Saturday, March 30 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gorden Treece Sr.; a son, Josh David Treece; and three grandchildren, Josh David Treece III, Shannon Treece Jr. and Leeroy Davis Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Thelma Cash and Brenda Martin, both of Addison, and Robin Davis of Grant; a son, Gordon Treece Jr. of Arab; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Minnie Cook of Arley, Birtha Glover of Addison, Elouise Gillott and Levonnie Gillott, both of Decatur.
Visitation was Monday.

Services for Ethel Reese Barnett Trucks, 73, of Leeds will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at Kilgroe Chapel, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Trucks died Sunday, March 31.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Joe Barnett; and two sisters, Joan Reese McIntosh and Evywon Curtis.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Oliver Trucks Sr.; a son, Michael R. Barnett; two stepsons, Virgil Trucks Jr. and Darryl Trucks; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Beckwith and Wendy Pereles; a niece, Tanya Richards; a nephew, Robert Roden; three sisters, Muriel Marty, Barbara Wiggins and Helen Reid; three brothers, Alvin, Freeman and Joe Ray Reese; three grandchildren, Shelley Dobbins, Emily Johnson, Wesley Barnett; two great-grandchildren, William Dobbins and Todd Johnson; seven step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Tucker died Monday, April 1 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born Oct. 10, 1915 in Cullman to Wiley and Maudie Butler McGraw. She worked assembly at Golden Rod.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ferris Tucker.
Survivors include a son, O.W. Tucker of Cullman; a daughter, Linda Waddell of Cullman; five brothers, Hobson McGraw, Howard McGraw, Gerald McGraw, Roland McGraw and Donald McGraw; three sisters, Mary Alexander of Bremen, Gwen Allred of Huntsville and Leola Guthrie of Cullman; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Ruth Eleanor Hoffman
Services for Ruth Eleanor Hoffman, 87, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father Kevin McGrath officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hoffman died Sunday, March 31 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 19, 1915 in St. Louis to Carl Conrad Muldner and Beulah Nace Muldner. She was a field supervisor for the U.S. Dept. of Commerce. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society and a volunteer for United Way and VITA. She won numerous awards for her volunteer work. She was also one of the first four people to receive the bronze medal from the U.S. Dept. of Commerce.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George H. Hoffman; a son, Jim Hoffman; a brother, Carl Muldner; and a granddaughter, Jeanne Marie Hoffman.
Survivors include a son, Gregg (Betty) Hoffman of Cullman; two daughters, Elaine (Dwight) Stancil of Cullman and Janet (Clifton) Brown of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Michael Hoffman of California, John Hoffman of Colorado, Mindy (Shannon) Cleghorn and Yvonne Stancil of Cullman, Aaron (Crickett) Hoffman, Andy Hoffman and Adam Hoffman, all of Huntsville, and Jessica Brown of North Carolina; seven great-grandchildren, Spencer Hale, Grayson Webster, Megan Cleghorn, Joalien Hoffman, Brittany Hoffman, Timothy Hoffman and Christian Craig; four step-grandchildren, Jim Clos, Joe (Jennifer) Clos, Joyce (Bobby) Sellers, John (Lori) Clos, and four step-great-grandchildren, Nate Clos, Jeffrey Clos, Cassie Clos and Emma Clos.

Services for Arvy Ray Hamilton, 78, of Addison will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at First Baptist Church in Addison, Tim Box and Danny Cobb officiating, with a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. in Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Dolbery Hamilton; and a daughter, Brenda Murphy.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Hamilton of Addison; two daughters, Martha Shivers of Somerville and Cathy Granone of Price ville; three grandchildren, Carol Murphy Olson, John Hamilton Shivers and Jessi Grandone; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Epling died Tuesday, April 2 at his residence. He was born in West Virginia on June 15, 1924 to James Edger and Amy Farley Epling. He was retired from Whitesburg Electronics as a delivery man.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Hill of Laceys Spring, Jean Duke of Somerville; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Al Thompson, Bobby Thornberry, Andy Parcus, John Parcus, Jesse Duke, Wayne Duke.

Mr. Brannon died Monday, April 1 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 25, 1947 in Cullman County to Clifton Arthur and Minnie Shickles Brannan. He was a lead singer for the Southern gospel group The Joyful Hearts. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam war.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, Junior Lawrence; his sister, Earline Capozzi; and two brothers, Billy Brannon and Arden Brannon.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Lawrence Brannon of Cullman; four sons, Patrick (Tina) Allred, Chris Brannon and Daniel (Bridget) Brannon, all of Cullman and Scott (Melinda) Brannon of Florida; two daughters, Denise (Kevin) Roberts of Missouri and Sherry (Brian) Ward of Arab; a brother, Ruhel (Ophelia) Brannon of Cullman; and 14 grandchildren, Charley, Kyle, Lantz, Seth, Breanna, Donna, Savannia, Ryan, Amber, Chase, Brandon, Lane, Lacee, and Breeanna.

Mr. Russell died Tuesday, April 2 at Morningside Assisted Living. He was born Sept. 4, 1914 in Decatur. He was owner and operator of Russell and Company in Birmingham and Decatur. He was a member of the Falkville Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Mary Lydia “Molly” Edwards Russell.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Elizabeth Riley Russell of Falkville; four daughters, Kay Garrard of Nashville, Tenn., Joy Bagley of Weaverville, N.C., Jerri Jessop of Honolulu, Hawaii and Laura J. Russell of Madison; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
