Services for Gustie Mildred Bennett, 85, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Eastside Baptist Church, Russ Fox, Jimmy Taylor and Sam Hollis officiating, with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Bennett died Monday, April 15 at her residence. She was born May 11, 1916 in Alabama to Emory Byrd and Mary Jane Roberts Bennett. She was a housekeeper.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Shikle; two nephews, Billy Ray Shikle and Darrell (Janita) Shikle; two nieces, Cathy (Tyrone) Gray and Sandra Ballard; and one stepsister, Nancy Patterson.
Visitation was Tuesday.
Brian Walter Phenicie
Services for Brian Walter Phenicie, two months, of Cullman will be at noon Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Charles Landrum officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

He died Sunday, April 14 at his residence. He was born Feb. 14, 2002.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pamela Carter.
Survivors include his parents, Mark and Elycia Phenicie; brother, Aaron Phenicie; two sisters, Brianna and Caitlin Phenicie; grandparents, Dale and Barbara Phenicie and Kenneth Carter; and aunts and uncles, DeWayne and Darla Heine, Kelly and Lee Cross, Jennifer and David Finkle and John Phenicie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Thursday until the service.
Phillip David Wilbanks
Services for Phillip David Wilbanks, 52, of Cullman will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Frank Butts officiating, with burial in Enon Cemetery.

Mr. Wilbanks died Monday, April 15 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 2, 1950 in Cullman County to James Earl and Mercedes Mary McCain Wilbanks. He was a press operator at Cullman Products. He was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard and the National Guard Cullman Unit.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Elizabeth Brock.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Davis Wilbanks of Cullman; two sons, William (Mandy) Wilbanks and Joseph Wilbanks, both of Cullman; three brothers, Jim (Ann) Wilbanks of Cullman, Guy (Claudie) Wilbanks of Hanceville and Mr. and Mrs. Mac Wilbanks of Michigan; four sisters, Nancy Wilbanks, Martha (Darrell) Chandler and Mona (Steve) Seckfort, all of Cullman and Marie Wilbanks and Fay; and three grandchildren, Ashley Wilbanks, Dylan Wilbanks and Reagan Argo.
Pallbearers will be members of the Cullman National Guard Unit.
Visitation was Tuesday.
Raymond Leslie Eyerly Jr.
Memorial services for Raymond Leslie Eyerly Jr., 75, of Falkville will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel.

Mr. Eyerly died Monday, April 15 at Veterans Administration Hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1927 in Ritzville, Wash. to Raymond Leslie Sr. and Lois Siets Eyerly. He was retired from the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Hudson Eyerly of Falkville; a son, Randy (Christine) Eyerly of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Patty Sue (Turk) Johnson of California and Germine Kaufman of Oregon; and three grandchildren, Lena Eyerly, Denise Eyerly and Domonik Eyerly.

Mrs. Fowler died Tuesday, April 16 at Carraway Methodist Medical Center. She was born in Arkadelphia on Feb. 16, 1941 to Calvin Sr. and Sibyl Hyde She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Fowler of Hanceville; four sons, Jeremy (Tracey) Fowler, Joel (Tammy) Fowler, Michael (Teresa) Fowler, Steven (Anita) Fowler all of Arkadelphia; three daughters, Beverly Smith, Rebecca (Jeff) Swann, Regina (Malcom) Thornton all of Arkadelphia; brother, Calvin Hyde Jr.; and 17 grandchildren.

Mrs. Gay died Monday, April 15 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair. She was born in Cullman County on June 5, 1917 to David Lon and Alice Samantha Chambers. She was a clerk for Lovemans.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Paul M. Barnett; her second husband, Charlie C. Gay; and a great-grandson, Paul Dewayne Barnett.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie Harris of Birmingham; brother, Orvis A. Chambers; grandson, William David Barnett Jr. of Washington; three great-grandchildren, Bethany Barnett, Jamie Barnett, Taylor Barnett; and one daughter-in-law, Sue Wilson of Washington.

Mr. Loggins died Monday, April 15 in Garden City. He was born in Oneonta on Dec. 1, 1957 to Howard and Catherine Hopkins Loggins. He was a retired supervisor for American Proteins.
Survivors include his parents; his wife, Jill Silcox of Hayden; three sons, Brandon Allred, Sam Loggins and Joe Loggins, all of Hayden; two daughters, Mariesa Loggins of Hayden and Monica McAnnally of Garden City; a brother, Danny Loggins of Hanceville; two sisters, Leisha Loggins and Sandra Loggins, both of Hanceville; a grandmother, Pearl Hopkins of Hayden; and two grandchildren, Christopher Nelson and Rebecca Nelson, both of Garden City.

Mr. Freeman died Wednesday, April 17 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 15, 1910 in Cullman County to George Jackson and Ida Leona Chumbley Freeman. He was a farmer and road building foreman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 46 years, Trudell Lewter Freeman and his wife of 15 years, Mary Hutson Freeman; and two sons-in-law, Hershel Wright and Wallace Dyson.
Survivors include seven sons, Johnnie (Jutta) Freeman, Ray (Tina) Freeman, Gerald (Sandra) Freeman, Earnest Terrell Freeman, Jack (Sue) Freeman, Jimmy (Gail) Freeman, Emitt (Bonnie) Freeman; two stepsons, Carl Hutson and Wendell Hutson; four daughters, Doris (Howard) Kent, Edna Bavar, Ethel (Benny) Tuggle and Carolyn (Allen) Adamson; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Peresleny and Edith Calvert; 38 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; 26 step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
