Fred Euell Easterwood
Services for Fred Euell Easterwood, 87, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Dudley Brock and Gary Brittain officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mr. Easterwood died Tuesday, May 7 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. He was born Feb. 26, 1915 in Georgia to L.G. and Ida Elizabeth Blair Easterwood. He was a retired fireman for the Cullman City Fire Department, a farmer, and a member of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Paul Easterwood.
Survivors include his wife, Eula Naramore Easterwood of Cullman; three sons, Fred E. (Lamona) Easterwood Jr., Thomas L. (Pat) Easterwood, both of Cullman, and Gene W. (Janice) Easterwood of Nixa, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The grandsons will be pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 today at the funeral home.
Thomas Henry Rasco
Services for Thomas Henry Rasco, 90, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Dillon Calvert officiating, with burial in Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Rasco died Tuesday, May 7 at his residence. He was born Nov. 17, 1911 in St. Clair County to Thomas Jackson and Jessie Bell Crumbley Rasco. He was a farmer and a member of Valley Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Harold Lellyn Rasco and Junior Rasco; and his brother, Dewitt Hobson Rasco.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Norris Rasco of Cullman; two daughters, Gwen Baird of Batesville, Ark. and Helen Carol Haga of Hayden; three sisters, Lucille Smith of Johnson’s Crossing, Jeanette Nunn of Cullman and Nola Mae Cramer of Chattanooga, Ten..; three step-children, Wayne Moss, DeLynn Moss and Dwight Moss; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Delia Ozell Powell Brewer
Services for Delia Ozell Powell Brewer, 82, of McCalla, formerly of Hartselle, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002 at Salem United Methodist Church, with burial in Salem Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Brewer died Monday, May 6 at Plantation Manor Nursing Home in McCalla. She was born Oct. 25, 1919 in Morgan County to James H. “Jim” and Dora Brannon Powell. She worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold Powell, Tom Powell and Irby Powell; and a sister, Opal Powell.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Stewart of McCalla; two brothers, Leon Powell of Cullman and G.W. Powell of Chambensburg, Pa.; two sisters, Martha Kenney of Westminster, Colo. and Hilda Nelson of Hartselle; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Hubert Powell, Lionel Powell, Anthony Nelson, Kenny Aldridge and Monty Powell.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Dora Childers Lindsey

Mrs. Lindsey died Tuesday, May 7 at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born in Morgan County on Jan. 9, 1918 to Henry and Lula Hudgins Childers. She was a senior companion for Community Action in Morgan County and a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, Ricky Lindsey.
Survivors include two sons, Dexter Lindsey of Hartselle, Ronnie Lindsey of Fairfax, Calif.; three daughters, Melba Puryear of Burbank, Calif., Wanda Woodruff of Hartselle, June Walling of Falkville; two brothers, Truel Childers of Hartselle, Elzin Childers of Birmingham; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wade Woodruff, Scott Walling, Clint Walling, Shane Lindsey, Justin Lindsey, Noel Childers.

Myrtle Josephine James

Mr. James died Tuesday, May 7 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1972 in Cullman to William and Carolyn James. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Kay James; and his grandmother, Ruth James.
Survivors include his parents; a son, Matthew James; two brothers, Jerry James and Jamie James; two nephews; and grandparents, Kenneth and Wilma Guess.

Mrs. Smith died Wednesday, May 8 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1916 to Guy Spencer and Ada Cobb Johnson. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, L.J. (Mamie) Smith; one daughter, Alene (Kenneth) Mann; three grandchildren, Wesley Smith, Janet Ferrell, Myron Mann; and five great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Joel Ferrell, Christopher and Nicholas Mann, Cody Smith.

Mr. Cobbs died Tuesday, May 7 at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Sept. 3, 1933 in Morgan County to Herbert DeWitt and Mary Louise Walker Cobbs. He was retired from M and W Trucking and was a member of the East Highland Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Cobbs of Hartselle; a son, Tracy Cobbs of Decatur; a daughter, Benita Cobbs of Athens; his father, Herbert D. Cobbs of Falkville; and two brothers, Raiford Cobbs of Alta, Ill. and Glen Cobbs of Town Creek.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the East Highland Baptist Church Building Fund.

Survivors include five sons, Gerald R. Smith, John M. Smith, Larry E. Smith, Kenneth R. Smith, R. Keith Smith; two daughters, Joyce Faulkner and Brenda Moore; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
