Mrs. Bates died Saturday, May 11 in Cullman. She was born in Cullman County on Dec. 31, 1928 to Ora and Ruby McKinsey Hudson. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Loyd Bales of Hayden; two sons, Albert Norman (Teresa) Bales of Crane Hill and Loyd Delwin (Cindy) Bales of Cullman; two daughters, Barbara (Danny) Williams of Hayden and Margaret (Roger) Woodard of Kings Mountain, N.C.; six grandchildren, Chris Bales, Hannah Bales, Leah Bales, Molora Kellstrom, Melissa Martin and Veronica Wright; six great-grandchildren; six sisters; and one brother.
Visitation was Monday.
Edward F. Morrow Jr.
Services for Edward F. Morrow Jr., 52, of Holly Pond will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, Tony Tidwell officiating, with burial in New Home Cemetery.

Mr. Morrow died Sunday, May 12 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 21, 1949 in Chattahoochee County, Ga. to Edward Forrest and Emma Ruth Vines Morrow. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie Daniel Morrow and Chris Morrow, both of Illinois; a brother, Herchal Micheal Morrow of Cullman; three sisters, Stella Ruth Sapp of Mississippi, Linda Gail Marion of Indiana and Jackie Colleen Lynn of Georgia; five grandchildren; and two foster grandchildren.

Darrell G. Williamson II
Services for Darrell G. Williamson II, 38, of Decatur will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2002 at Price ville Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Grad Tanner officiating, with burial in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Williamson died Saturday, May 11 in Decatur. He was born in Kansas on April 27, 1964 to D. Gene and Pauletta J. Collins Williamson.
Survivors include special friend, Dana J. Brown of Decatur; his parents; his grandmother, Melba Collins of Hammon, Okla.; a brother, Jason D. Williamson of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Keli V. Williamson Sparks of Athens; a nephew, Zane K.W. Sparks of Athens; and a niece, Kode T.W. Sparks of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hatfield, Jack McGee, Jacob Sparks, Mike Roth, Brian Hayes, Jason Williamson.
Honorary pallbearer is Timothy Bramlett.

Marvin R. Moon
Services for Marvin R. Moon, 80, of Gardendale will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2002 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, with burial in Oakwood Memorial.

Mr. Moon died Monday, May 13. He was born and raised in Cullman County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of New Prospect Baptist Church of Cullman. He was retired from U.S. Steel after 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer B. Moon.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Baker Moon; a son, Lon Dee Moon of Gardendale; four daughters, Gwen (Edwin) Hollis and Kay (Terry) Parker, both of Gardendale, Maxine (Gerald) Barnett of Hanceville and Sandra (J.E.) Campbell of Fultondale; two grandsons; seven granddaughters; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Pearlie Farley Moon of Gardendale; two brothers, Namon J. (Annie Mae) Moon of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dearl (Arlene) Moon of Gardendale; and two sisters, Gaynell (Ray) Sorenson of Warrior and Donna Ree Higginbotham of Oneonta.

James Terry Brown

Survivors include her husband, Paul Knighten of Cullman; a son, Lee Evans of Price ville; two stepsons, Jerry Knighten of Price ville and Paul Ellis Knighten of Cullman; two sisters, Maybell West of Cullman and Wynell Woodall of Rock Creek; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Wayne Meric Younglove Sr.
Wayne Meric Younglove Sr., 71, of Tucson, Ariz. died Friday, April 26, 2002 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mr. Younglove was born in Red Creek, N.Y. on Sept. 22, 1930 to Ray C. and Lois E. Younglove. He was a farmer and a truck driver in New York before moving to Arizona where he worked at Duval Mine and Southern Peru Mining Co. before retiring in 1992.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four grandchildren, Jeffery Estrada, Robyn Younglove Hamsted, Erin Elizabeth Younglove, Ramon Estrada.
Survivors include his wife, Cathrine A. Younglove of Tuscon; two sons, Wayne M. Younglove Jr. of Red Creek, N.Y., Robert R. Younglove of Tuscon; three daughters, Linda A. Younglove of Cullman, Nora Winnet of Temple, Texas, Theresa Pearson of Hamlin, N.Y.; two brothers, Hugh Younglove, Duane Younglove both of Red Creek, N.Y.; two sisters, Anne Nichols of Sterling, N.Y., Gail Heinburger of Ontario Center, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Black died Tuesday, May 14 at his residence. He was born April 4, 1930 to James and Ollie Brand Black. He was a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Sue Manning Black; four sons, Joseph Wayne Black, Alan Stewart Black, Gary Arnold Black and Brandon Lee Black; a daughter, Sharon Darlene Black; four brothers, Burford Black, Leldon Grace, Junior Grace, Jerry Grace; three sisters, Olene Williams, Mary Emma Maze and Louise Wright; and three grandchildren, Arron Tyler Black, Jesse Colton Black and Amanda Nicole Black.

Services for Charles Duane Morgan, 45, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2002 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Harold Hermetz officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Morgan died Tuesday, May 14 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 4, 1956 to Charles and Dora Lucille Morgan. He was a full time student, a certified nursing assistant, a member of the Cullman Rose Society and the American Rose Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Apel Morgan; a step-son, Jonathan Charles Easterwood; a daughter, Jillian Marie Morgan; a step-daughter, Jennifer Carol Easterwood; a brother, Lee Morgan; and a step-grandmother, Joyce Hammond.

Mrs. Smith died Monday, May 13 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 15, 1922 in Blount County to Grover C. and Edna Hogaland Nibblett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harley E. Smith; her brother, Grover Nibblett Jr.; four sisters, Jessie Ogle Hudson, Ethel Couch, Mildred Moore and Betty Joyce Nibblett; and her nephew, Delwyn L. Hudson.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Clevetta S. Perry, Peggy C. Bubnik, Shara A. Jaskolka, Karen Reiley, Debbie Spanger, Delton Graves, Diane Brune, Michael Nibblett, Nellie Sue Coley, Betty Gail Dupont.
