Services for Carrie Linda Howse, 96, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2002 at Moss Funeral Chapel, Harold Widner officiating, with burial in Nesmith Methodist Cemetery.

Mrs. Howse died Saturday, July 6 at Woodland Village Health Care. She was born April 10, 1906 to Samuel and Mevalina Smith Reid. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lee C. Howse.
Survivors include three sons, A.L. “Bud” (Earlene) Howse of Warrior, Charles Dovard Howse, James Myron (Clariece) Howse both of Cullman; two sisters, Ruby Taylor, Elma Camp both of Cullman; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Teichmiller died Sunday, July 7 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 25, 1901 in Georgia to Moses Sylvanas and Willy Boyd Payne. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, J. Howard Teichmiller; two sisters, Estelle Walker and Nora Grizzard; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Graves died Sunday, July 7 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. He was born in Blount County to Burvel and Vona Hillis Graves. He was retired from the real estate business and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in East Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Haynes Graves of Gardendale; son, Dennis Graves of Gardendale; two daughters, Patricia Gilmore of East Lake, Paula Graves of Gardendale; three brothers, Austin Graves, Wesley Graves both of Blountsville, Jack Graves of Childersburg; two sisters, Drucilla Graves, Emmie Shelton both of Blounstville; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Melissa Gilmore.
Henry Andy Beckman
Graveside services for Henry Andy Beckman, 79, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2002 at the Cullman Memory Gardens, Gary Byram will be officiating.

Mr. Beckman died Monday, July 8 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born in Alabama on Aug. 27, 1922 to John and Rose Belchner Beckman. He worked as a tile mechanic in floor covering and was a veteran from the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Annie B. Beckman; two sons, Charles (Rozetta) Beckman, Richard (Margie) Beckman; two daughters, Linda Kairitis and Frances (Gary) Byram; one sister, Frances Stewart; eight grandchildren, three great-grandsons; and mother-in-law, Gertie Wainwright.

Mr. Smith died Monday, July 8 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Cullman County on Aug. 12, 1935 to Thomas Dawson and Lois Walker Smith. He was a railroad foreman and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a long-time member of Center Hill Baptist Church where he served as Sunday school superintendent.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Betty I. Harris Smith; mother; son, Tom (Patty) Smith of Center Hill; daughter, Sheree (Steven) Parris of Hanceville; and five grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda) Parris of Cullman, Meghan Parris of Gardendale, Luke Smith, Lauren Smith, Mikey Smith all of Center Hill.

Vinola Twilley Burks
Vinola Twilley Burks, 73, of Cullman, died Tuesday, July 9 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1928 in Cullman County to Bart and Vera Day Twilley. She was a retired housekeeper for the Department on Aging.

Survivors include a son, Michael (Connie ) Burks; two grandchildren, Tonnie (David) Brown, Jonathan Burks; and a great-grandchild, Angela Brown.
