Center in Fayetteville, TN. Born in Dekalb County, AL and Member of the
Kings Chapel Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband;
James Earl Roden and Parents; Ed P. and Elizabeth Pell Smith.
She is survived by her Daughter; Beth Roden Robertson of Fayetteville, TN
Two Grandsons; Keith and James Robertson of Fayetteville, TN
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 28, 2001 at 2pm CST at
the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Haynes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Henagar, AL
Visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2001 from 5pm CST
until 8pm CST and Sunday, January 28, 2001 from 1am CST

Mr. Mack Roberts age 59 of Sylvania, Al passed away Friday,
January 26, 2001 at his residence. Born in Dekalb County, AL. He
was a veteran having served in the army for 2 years and National
Guard for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his Father;
Mr. Charles B. Roberts, Sr., Brother; Patrick Roberts and a Step-Son;
Allen Nettles.

Mrs. Dora Walker age 95 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Saturday,
January 27, 2001 at the Collinsville Nursing Home in Collinsville, AL
Mrs. Walker was born December 23, 19 05 in Dekalb County, AL,
daughter of the late Tommy and Serena Flaridy Henderson.
She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by
her Husband and Son; Grady and Clarence Walker.
Funeral services will be at 2pm CST Sunday, January 28, 2001 at
the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eulas Hughes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Walker's Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Mable Ventress Ellis age 90 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
Sunday, January 28, 2001. Mrs. Ellis was born October 23, 1910 in
Collinsville, AL daughter of the late Thomas Aaron and Virgina Petty
Ventress. Her Husband, Bill Ellis preceded her in death. She was a
former school teacher for the Dekalb County School System and a
member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Payne, AL, Baptist Women,
and Fort Payne Garden Club.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 30,2001 at 2pm CST from the
Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Pat McFadden and Rev. Jimmy
Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will
receive friends Monday, January 29, 2001 at 5pm until 8pm CST at the
funeral home. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the
First Baptist Church of the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.

Mrs. bachelor was born November 15, 1907 daughter of the late Ben and
Ida McKown Evatt. She was a member of the Mt Zion Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 30, 2001 at 11am CST from the
Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herman Spillman and Rev. Watson
Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker's Chapel Cemetery.
