January 15, 2002 at the Riverview Medical Center Funeral
Service will be Thursday, January 17, 2002 at 2pm CST
at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Carr officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens

Survivors include his Wife; Dale Webb of Rainsville, AL
Daughters; Jennie Walls of Douglasville, GA., Joyce Shock, Zoey Brown both of
Rainsville, AL., and Dedria Norwood of Section, AL
Sons; Kevin Boman, david Boman both of Rainsville, AL., and Kelly Boman
of Trion, GA

Mrs. Margaret "Dutch" Hall age 77 of Chickamauga, GA formerly
of Rainsville, AL passed away Monday, January 28, 2002
in the Hutcheson Medical Center. Funeral service will be Wednesday,
January 30, 2002 at 2pm CST at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Hershel Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View
Cemetery.

Survivors include her Son; Bill Hall of Chickamauga, GA}
Daughter; Polly Hall of Chickamauga, GA
Sisters; Iva Lee Poole of Huntsville, AL and Faye Baugh of Madison, AL
Grandchildren; Jeffery Hall, April Broome, Tonya Black, and Velvet Wootan
Great-Grandchildren; Kitcha Fitzsimmons and Aaron Black
Great-Great-Grandchild; Christina Fitzsimmons

Mrs. Ruby I. Wilks age 92 of Henagar, AL passed away Sunday, January 6, 2002
in the Crowne Health Care Center of Fort Payne, AL. She was a life long
resident of Dekalb County, AL and a member of the Libert Baptist Church.
in Henagar, AL. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Andrew J. and Annie
Peek Ivey, Husband; Mr. Bonard Wilks, 9 Brothers and Sisters.
Daughter and Son-in-law; Jack and June Padgett

Survivors include her Sons and Daughter-in-law; Andrew Minor and Maxine Wilks
of Henagar, AL., and Rex and Joan Wilks of Henagar, AL.,
Sister and Brother-in-law; Bob and Paul Greeson of Henagar, AL
7 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren

Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 8, 2002 at 2pm CST
at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Ivey and Bro. Jason Wilks officiating.
Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Henagar, AL

The family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Liberty
Baptist Church or Liberty Cemetery Fund.

Mrs. Charlsie L. Bray age 92 of Valley Head, AL (High Point Community)
passed away Thursday, January 10, 2002 at Dekalb BMC Hospital.
She was a life long resident of Dekalb County, AL and a member
of the New Home Baptist Church in Henagar, AL
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Robert and Elizabeth Crane Hall
Husband; Willie Bray
Three Sisters and Two Brothers and One Grandchild

Survivors include her Sons; Paul Bray of Fort Payne, AL, Milton
Dewayne Bray of Fort Payne, AL, and Earl J. Bray of Valley Head, AL
Daughter; Reba Sides of Birmingham, AL
7 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 12, 2002 at 1pm CST at the
Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Anthony Pannell officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Home Cemetery

Mr. Carvel "Bud" Louis Newberry age 63 of Gurley, AL passed away
Sunday, January 20, 2002 .
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 22, 2002 from 6 until 9pm CST
Funeral service will be 1 pm CST Wednesday, January 23, 2002
at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pisgah Cemetery.

in BMC Dekalb Hospital. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 27, 2002 at

Home Cemetery in Ider, AL

Mrs. Bonnie D. Chambless age 71 of Gadsden, AL passed away
Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at Gadsden Regional Hospital in Gadsden, AL
She was preceded in death by her Sister; Telma Duncan Howell
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 24, 2002 at 1pm CST
at the Collinsville Funeral Home - Sharpe Chapel with Rev.
Frank Teal officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Ruth Cook age 88 of Collinsville, AL passed away
January 23, 2002 at the Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz, AL
Funeral services will be Friday, January 25, 2002 at 2pm CST at the
Collinsville Funeral Home - Sharpe Chapel with Rev. Frank Teal officiating
Burial will follow in the Collinsville Cemetery. the family request no flowers but donation be
made to the Collinsville Library Fund.

Survivors include her Sisters; Myron Harris of Collinsville, AL
Charlsie Griffin of Power Springs, GA, and a number of
Nieces and Nephews.

Casket Bearers include Rusty Lykes, Gregg Meadows, Houston Smith,
Alford Smith, Rickey Wills, and James Coker, Jr.

Mrs. Wanda Mae Hall age 61 of Valley Head, AL passed away Thursday,
January 10, 2002 at her residence. Mrs. Hall was born December 23, 1940,
daughter of the late M. C. and Martha Beaty Morgan. She was a member of the
Hammondville Baptist Church and a retired from Sola Electric. She was preceded
in death by her Husband; Claudell Hall

Funeral service will be2pm CST Sunday, January 123, 2002 from
Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Johnson and Rev. Bill
Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitehall Cemetery.

Survivors include her Son and Daughter-in-law; Michael and Sherrie Hall
of Valley Head, AL
Brothers; Charles Morgan of Rising Fawn, GA., and Howard Morgan

Mr. W. F. (Freck) Robertson age 77 of Cullman, AL formerly of
Fort Payne, AL passed away Monday, January 7, 2002 in Cullman, AL
Mr. Robertson was born August 28, 1924 in Chattanooga, TN
son of the late Claude C. and Dovie Roxie Walls Robertson. He was owner
and operator of Robertson Speedometer Shop and a member of the Church of Christ
and VFW.

Funeral service will be 2pm CST Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at the
Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Owens of East Cullman Church of Christ
officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Survivors include his Wife; Greta Gardner Robertson of Cullman, AL
Daughters; Vicki Wilson of Nashville, TN and Cathi Gentry of Birmingham, AL
Sisters; Opal Windsor and Lil Lowery both of Fort Payne, AL., Venice Culpepper
of Pell City, AL., Retha Olsen of Merritt Island, FL
Brother; Loyd Robertson of Fort Payne, AL

Mr. James Wyman Fields, Sr. age 69 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
Wednesday, January 9, 2002 in the BMC Hospital. Mr. Fields was born July 23, 1932
in Henry County, GA., son of the late Arnold and Mattie Pearl Turner Fields. He was a member of the
Southeast Baptist Church. Mr. Fields served with the Airborne Division of the
U. S. Army in the Korean War and was a retired Teamster.

Survivors include his Wife; Sara Jane Fields of 46 years.
Son and Daughter-in-law; Jimmy and April Fields of Collinsville, AL
Brother; William Fields of McDonough, GA
Sister; Bernice Sams of Lovejoy, GA
Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be 11am CST Saturday, January 12, 2002 from the Wilson
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earnest Parker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm CST

Mr. Foil Lee Hester age 83 of Pine Ridge Community Fort Payne, AL
passed away Friday, January 11, 2002 at his residence. Mr. Hester was born
October 13, 1918 in Fort Payne, AL, son of the late Jeff David and Alva
Hardin Hester. He was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church and
Fort Payne Masonic Lodge #437. He was retired from the Hosiery Mill
Industry where her worked as a knitting machine fixer for over 50 years.
His Sons; Robert Foil Hester and Darrel Lee Hester preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be 2pm CST Monday, January 14, 2002 from
Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Oren Ledford and Rev. J. T. Williams
officiating. Masonic Graveside Service will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Survivors include his Wife; Ophia Stamper Hester of Fort Payne, AL
Brother; Charles Ray Hester of Fort Payne, AL

Mrs. Mildred Young Baxter age 77 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
Monday, January 14, 2002 at her residence.. She was born May 31, 1924
in Dekalb County, AL, daughter of the late Rufus Almon and Bessie Elizabeth
Bishop Young. Her Husband; Robert D. (Dude) Baxter preceded Mrs. Baxter
in death. She was retired from W. B. Davis Mill and the Fountain Retirement
Center and a member of Concord Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 2pm CST on Wednesday, January 16, 2002
at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rev. Royce Powell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Survivors include her Daughter; Karen Baxter
Sons; Ray Smalley and Robert Lynn Baxter
Sister; Velera Wright all of Henagar, AL
