Mrs. Eleanor Tate age 59 of Mentone passed away Saturday, February 17, 2001
at Gadsden Regional Hospital. Mrs. Tate was born October 14, 1941 in Dekalb
County, daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn Keith Pullen. She was formerly
employed by Charles Scott Law office as a legal secretary.
Funeral services will be 1pm CST Tuesday,
February 20, 2001 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Bank Head
Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, February 19, 2001
at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vonnie Yarbrough Parker age 97 of Fort Payne, Al passed away
Sunday, February 18, 2001. Mrs. Parker was a native of Dekalb County
born May 24, 1903, daughter of the late John Thomas and Katie Smith
Yarbrough. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Payne, AL
and Alabama Retired Teachers Association. She was retired from the Dekalb
County Board of Education as a teacher. She was preceded in death by her
Husband; Claude Parker.

Mr. Thomas Alvin Yancy age 87 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Thursday,
February 22, 2001 at BMC Dekalb Hospital. Mr. Yancy was born June 26, 1914
the son of the late Thomas and Dolly Ann Bailey Yancy. He was a member of the
Lebanon Baptist Church. Mr. Yancy was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes
Lee Yancy and a grandson, Christopher Scott Yancy.
