Mrs. Nora Leona Shortnacy age 93 of Fort Payne, Al passed away Wednesday,
February 28, 2001 in the Crowne Health Care Center. Mrs. Shortnacy was a
native of Dekalb County, AL born September 21, 1907, daughter of the late
Tom and Dora Copland Hunt.
Funeral services will be 2 pm CST at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Ronald Berry and Rev. Ronnie Highfield officiating. Burial
will follow in the Walker's Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Harris was the organist at the Collinsville Baptist Church for 13 years and then played the
piano at the First United Methodist Church for years. She was one of the original founders of Trade
Day in Collinsville, AL. She was active in civic and social organizations. She was the Chairman
of the Collinsville Library for many years.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 11, 2002 at the Collinsville Funeral
Home - Sharpe Chapel at 11am with Rev. Bruce Word officiating.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during the October broadcast of the Billy Graham Crusade. He was a heavy equipment operator for McCartney Construction, Gadsden, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny E. Ellis and step-father R. B. Lacy.
