Mr. Milford W. Jones age 82 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Friday,
February 1, 2001 in Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Jones was a member of the Fort Payne Masonic Lodge #437, a veteran
of WWII. He was the son of the late Elbert and Pearl Whitmire Jones. He was retired from Earth
Grains Bakery as a maintenance technician.
Mr. Jones is survived by a Son; David Jones of Mentone, AL

Mr. Joe Luther Franklin, age 62 of Fort Payne, formerly of Birmingham, died February 12, 2002 in Crowne Health Care. Mr. Franklin was born February 22, 1939 son of the late Clarence and Geneva Roberts Franklin. He was a charter member of the Hilldale Baptist Church, Center Point, AL.
Survivors include: his brother, William Robert Franklin, Fort Payne. Aunt, Mary Ruth Mince, Fort Payne. Several cousins also survive.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 14, 2002 at 11 A.M. from the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Pate officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Billy Joe Goza age 72 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Thursday, February 14,2002
Mr. Goza was a native of Dekalb County, AL., born August 21, 1929 son of
the late John Taylor and Ida Everett Goza. He was self employed in the Hosiery
Industry. He was a veteran of the US Army.

Ms. Bessie E. McSpadden age 61 of Mentone, AL passed away Friday,
February 15, 2002 at her residence. She was born June 6, 1940 in Dekalb County, AL
daughter of the late Deck and ester Roden Hall. She was a member of the Hammondsville
Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be Sunday, February 17, 2002 at 2pm CST at the
Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fisher Cemetery.

Mrs. Charlsie Lyons Shipp age 86 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
at the Baptist Medical Center in Fort Payne, AL on Saturday, February 16, 2002
Mrs. Shipp was a native of Dekalb County, AL a member of the Saint Paul United Methodist Church
and a retired telephone operator from Southern Bell Telephone Company.
