Funeral services will be Monday August 14, 2000 at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
in Rainsville, AL. Burial will follow in the Kirk Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Wade Brooks, 3 sons,
Charles Gene, Bobby Ray, and Rayford D. Brooks, 1 daughter, Pricilla Gay Brooks,
1 infant, 1 grandson, and 1 great-great--granddaughter.
Mr. Billy Ross Orr age 62 of Pleasant Hill Fort Payne Community passed away
Monday, August 14, 2000 at his residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday,
August 16, 2000 at 11am CDT from the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Barry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mtn. View Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Clarine Bell, wife of the late M. B. Bell age 86 of Sylvania, AL
passed away Monday, August 14, 2000 at BMC-Dekalb Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at 11am CDT from the
Sylvania Baptist Church. She will lie in state at he church 10am CDT
until 11am CDT with Rev. Jim Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the
Mtn. View Memory Gardens in Rainsville, AL. The family will receive
friends Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at 11am CDT.
Survivors include 1 son; Jack Bell of Sylvania, AL.
2 daughters; Doris Jean Jenkins of Atlanta, GA. and Alice Fay Entrekin of
Culman, AL.
6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, 4 neices and 1 nephew and

Mr. D. C. Little of Fort Payne, AL passed away Tuesday, August15, 2000
in the BMC-Dekalb Hospital in Fort Payne, AL.
Mr. Little was a native of Dekalb County, born January 22, 1929 son of the
late Alexander and Mae Jennings Little. He was a veteran of WW II and retired
as an electrician lineman.
Graveside services were Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at 3pm CDT from
the Adamsburg Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Berry officiating.
Survivors include his son; Larry Don Little of Stone Mountain, GA
grandson; Jim Little of Atlanta, GA.
Mrs. Bufer Townsend Bethune age 83 of Rainsville, AL
passed away Sunday, August 13, 2000 at BMC-Dekalb Hospital
in Fort Payne, AL. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 16, 2000
at 2pm CDT from the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Griffin,
Rev. Kevin McCreless, Rev. Gerald Dukes and Rev. Anthony Panell officiating.

Mr. J. D. Keel age 79 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Thursday, August 17, 2000.
Mr. Keel was a native of Dekalb County., born October 23, 1920 son of the
late Christopher Columbus and Mattie Smith Keel. He was retired from TVA as a
lineman and a member of the Civil Service Corp. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Mary Bell Keel on April 1, 2000.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 20, 2000 at 2pm CDT from Wilson Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. David House and Rev. Harvey Beck officiating.
Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers include Donald Hooper,
Byron Gilbreath, Danny Garrard, Charles Morgan, Olen Johnson and
Ronnie Sparks. Family will receive friends

Mr. T. Wayne Mann age 81 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Saturday, August 19, 2000
at Crowne Health Care in Fort Payne, AL. Mr. Mann was born in Dekalb County,
Alabama November 14, 1918 son of the late William Emory and Bertha Walls Mann.
He was retired from the A.& P. Grocery Store where he was Manager. He was a veteran
of WW II and a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Fort Payne, AL
Funeral services will be 3pm CDT Monday, August 21, 2000 at the Wilson Funeral
Home Chapel with burial in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends
Sunday evening, August 20, 2000 from 4pm CDT until 8pm CDT.

to whom he would have been married for 60 years on December 24.

retired from Wheland Foundry in Chattanooga, TN.
