Mrs. Ludie M. Richey age 63 of Glencoe, AL passed away Thursday,
August 24, 2000 at the Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL
Graveside services will be Saturday, August 26, 2000 at 2pm CDT in the Kirk
Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Denson officiating.

Survivors include 3 Sons; Tony Richey, Gene Richey both of Glencoe, AL
Ronny Richey of Alexandria, AL.
3 Daughters and son-in-laws; Karen and Tim Newton of Webster's Chapel,
Kathy and Greg Fails, Tracy and Neil Thrower all of Gadsden, AL.
11 Grandchildren
1 Sister; Clara (Dee) Sargent of Haines City, FL
Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Mrs. Richey was preceded in death by her Husband, Kermit Richey; Parents,
Ervin and Irene Clements.

Mrs. Ila Vearon Bailey age 81 of Pisgah, Al passed away Friday,
August 25, 2000 in the Huntsville, Hospital in Huntsville, AL. Funeral services will be
Tuesday, August 29, 2000 at 11am CDT at Kerby Funeral Home with burial
following in the Rosalie Cemetery in Rosalie, AL;

Survivors include her Sons, Lindon Bailey of Houston, TX; Joe Bailey of
Sterling Heights, MI; William Bailey of Roseville, MI; Kevin Bailey of
Cumming, GA; Daughters, Selma Marcewicz of Warren MI,
Joyce Bailey of Cheboygan, MI; Brother, Rex Shankles of Rossville, GA
14 Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Andrew and Bertha
Mae (Brooks) Shankles; husband, T. B. Bailey; and three brothers, Adell,
Shorty and Eldridge Shankles.

Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Macklin Baptist Church, Rosalie, AL

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 27, 2000
from 12 pm CDT until 9pm CDT, then on Monday from 8:30 am CDT until
9pm CDT and On Tuesday from 8:30 am CDT until time of service.

Rev. Clarence Davis Owens age 60 of Rainsville, AL passed away Saturday,
August 26, 2000 at his residence. Funeral services will be Monday, August, 28, 2000
at 11am CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Gray officiating.
Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife; Bobbie Owens of Rainsville, AL; Daughter and Son-in-law,
Monica Franchesca and Richard Anderson of Fyffe, AL;
3 Brothers, Warren Owens, Dewey Owens, and A. J. Owens all of Fyffe, AL;
6 Sisters, Beedie Sears of Fyffe, AL, Nora Lee Nance of Fyffe, AL, Flora Talley of
Fyffe, AL, Anna Mae Chambers of Fort Payne, AL, Loretta Robertson of Rainsville, AL,
and Estell Cathy Dobbs of Pisgah, AL.

Mr. Lynn Patton age 49 of Fyffe, AL passed away Monday,
August 28, 2000 at his residence. Funeral services will be Thursday, August, 32, 2000
at 2pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Pat McFadden and Rev. Lance Cole
officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens.

Survivors include his Mother; Mrs. E. Lionel Patton of Fyffe, AL
Sister; Cita Patton Mitchell of Rainsville, AL
Nephew; Cameron Mitchell of Rainsville, AL
Niece: Megan Mitchell of Rainsville, AL.

Mr. Patton was preceded in death by his father Rev. E. Lionel Patton

Ms. Amanda Thomas Lingerfelt age 20 of Rainsville, AL
passed away Thursday, August 24, 2000 at Fyffe, AL. Funeral services will be
Wednesday, August 30, 2000 at 4pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Gary Haymon and Rev. Briggs King officiating. Burial will follow in the
Mt. View Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 29, 2000
from 4pm CDT until 9pm CDT.

Ms. Lingerfelt was preceded in death by her Grandfather, H. L. Lingerfelt, Sr.

Mr. Johnathon Lee Chandler age 19 of Rainsville, AL passed away Thursday,
August 24, 2000 at Fyffe, AL. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 30, 2000
at 11am CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cates Noles officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rainsville Memorial Park in Rainsville, AL. Family will
receive friends Tuesday, August 29, 2000 at 10am CDT.

Mrs. Annie Beaird age 80 of Chickamauga, GA passed away
Sunday, August 27, 2000 at Hutcheson Medical Center. Funeral services will be
Wednesday, August 30, 2000 at 2pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Billy Hedgepath officiating. Burial will follow in the Town Creek Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 29, 2000 at 11 AM CDT.

Survivors include 3 Sons, Billy Beaird, Bobby Beaird both of Chickamauga, GA
Jimmy Beaird of Ringgold, GA. 2 Brothers; Charles Poole and
Paul Poole both of Rainsville, AL. 4 Sisters; Beulah Williams, Gloria Dean
Mitchell both of Rainsville, AL, Wilma Trussell of Hixon, TN and
Nelda Poole of Chattanooga, TN.
4 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.

Funeral services for Mr. Oliver Harris Hall age 76 of Collinsville will be 2 PM CDT
Saturday, September 2, 2000 from the Collinsville Presbyterian
Church where he had been a member for 65 years, with the Rev. Alan Webb officiating. Burial will be in the family plot of Collinsville Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Payne in charge of the arrangements. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Cecil Hall, Buzz Garrett, Russell Smith, Walter Cochran, Canton Graves and Dr. Vicente S.J. Torregosa. Our thanks and appreciation to Gadsden Regional Medical Center,
Hospice and Gadsden Cancer Center.
Mr. Hall attended Collinsville School and finished at Gulf Coast Military
Academy at Gulf Port, Mississippi. He served during World War II with the U.S.
Army in the South Pacific. He was one of the founding families of Collinsville and
was the last surviving member affiliated with the family business, The Oliver Hall
Co., which was in operation from l875 until 1966. He retired from the U.S Dept of Agriculture
with 20 years service in 1990. He was a past Commander of the
American Legion at Collinsville and served on Collinsville City Counci1. After retirement he was with Westinghouse Security Force, Fort Payne.
He is survived by his wife to whom he had been married for 44 years;
Mildred Lee Prichett Rhinehart Hall. Daughter; Julia Harriett Hall White,
Collinsville. Son and daughter in law; Oliver Harris Hall II and Pam Hall,
Collinsville, Chosen daughter and son in law; Phyllis Renee Rinehart Hall
Simpson and Sammy Simpson, Collinsville. Chosen son and daughter in law;
Michael Almond Rhinehart and Mary Rhinehart, Sand Rock. Grandchildren;
Katherine and Kevin White, Oliver, III, Van de Graff, Noah hall, Sam, Seth, Saul,
Simon Simpson. Amber Hall. Cousin Mrs. Irby Hall Powers, Montgomery, AL

Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his daughter, Cornelia Van de Graff,
chosen son, Kenneth Dale "Sparky" Hall, Parents; Mr and Mrs. Charles C. Hall, Sr.,
brother; Charles C. Hall, Jr. and sister; Mary Pyron Stallings.

Mrs. Hazel York Didier age 84 of Ft. Payne, Al. passed away Monday
August 28,2000.

Mrs. Didier is survived by her brothers; Vernon and William (Bill) York both of Ft. Payne, Al. Paul York of Vero Beach, Florida. Sisters, Ruby Hughes,Ft. Payne, Al. Dorothy Blalock, Mentone, Al. Vivian Stiles, Cloudland, Ca. Leona Chadwick, Signal Mountain, Tennessee.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 29,2000 from the Fischer Cemetery, with Rev. Eric Bell officiating. The family will receive friends
Monday 6-8 pm CDT

Mrs. Ella Mae Shirey age 88 of Sylvania, AL passed away Tuesday,
August 29, 2000 at Alexian Health Care. Funeral services will be
Thursday, August 31, 2000 at 12pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Shirey and Rev. David Starling officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery.

Survivors include her Son and Daughter-in-law; Jay and June Shirey of
Sylvania, AL, Daughter and Son-in-law; Rita Sue and Buck Stone of Signal
Mountain, TN, Sister; Hattie Bone of Rainsville, AL, 3 Grandchildren;
Cynthia and Ken Hunter, Benny Jay and Robin Shirey, Jr.,
Christopher Todd and Renea Shirey.
5 Great-Grandchildren; Taylor, Ashlyn, Annie Shirey; Kayleagh and
Jay Shirey.
Mrs. Shirey was preceded in death by her Husband, J. T. Shirey
and Son, Jack Shirey.

Mr. Larry L. Golden age 56 of Henagar, AL passed away at his residence
Monday, August 28, 2000. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 31, 2000
at 2pm CDT at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Hall
officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Haven Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his Mother, Ozema Golden of Chickamauga, GA:
Wife, Bonnie Golden of Henagar, AL;
Daughter and Son-in-law, Tena Marie and Tony Padgett of Pisgah, AL;
Brothers, Excel Golden of Chickamauga, GA, Danny J. Golden of
Green Bay, WI;
Grandchildren, Chase and Lacey Padgett.

Mr. Golden was preceded in death by his Father, Lenomar "Tooney' Golden
and a Sister, Linda Pruitt.
Mr. Golden was of the Methodist Faith, was a member of the National
Rifle Association (NRA) and was a truck driver for Peterson Produce.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday,
August 30, 2000 from 1:30pm CDT until 9pm CDT.
