April 19, 2001. He was born March 10, 1914 in Georgia. Mr. Kelley
was a veteran of WWII and a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Payne, AL
and Fort Payne Masonice Lodge #437.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his Wife; Mrs. Otelia Stone Kelly of Fort Payne, AL
Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ray Stone of Albertville, AL
Graveside services will be 11am CDT Saturday, April 21, 2001 from
Glenwood Cemetery in Fort Payne, AL with Rev. Ronald Berry officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 20, 2001 from 5-8pm CDT

Mr. Clyde Russell Jackson age 93 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
Thursday, April 19, 2001. He was born January 12, 1908 in Dekalb
County, son of the late Ben W. and Lucy Rogers Jackson. Mr. Jackson
was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church,
VFW, and Lebanon Masonic Lodge #116.
Survivors include his Sister; Trixie White of Ringgold, GA and Several
Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday, April 21, 2001 at 1pm CDT
from the Shiloh Cemetery with Masons officiating. The family will receive
friends Friday, April 20, 2001 from 5-8pm CDT at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bernice Rush Huggins age 72 formerly of Fort Payne, AL
passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2001.

Mrs. Audie Jones age 87 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Wednesday,
April 25, 2001 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was a retired school
teacher from the Dekalb County Board of Eduacation. She was a member of
the First Baptist Church in Fort Payne, AL and the Golden Circle, Alabama
Teachers Association, The Garden Club and WMU of the First Baptist Church
in Fort Payne, AL.
She is survived by her Sons and Daughter-in-laws; C. E. (Carole) Jones
of Houston, TX., Michael (Cheryl) Jones of Sylvania, AL., Ronald
(Connie) Jones of Gadsden, AL

April 30, 2001 at Crowne Health Care Center. Mrs. Eller was born
May 11, 1913 in Dekalb County, AL, daughter of the late Earnest and Senia
Baugh Owen. She was of the Holiness Faith.

Ms. Thelma Brindley Goodwin age 95 of Albertville, AL former resident of Troy, AL
passed away Sunday, April 14, 2002. She is survived by Rebecca and Daniel Clayton
of Collinsville, AL and their immediate family. Miss Goodwin was a Christian and a member
of the First Baptist Church of Albertville. she was also active in the First Baptist Church of
Troy. She was a member of the Colley Sunday School Class
Miss Goodwin was preceded in death by her Father; W. P. Goodwin and Mother: Dora
Brindley Goodwin.
In 1968 she was included in "Who's Who Among American Women". Miss Goodwin
attended the Virginia School for Girls, received her BA from Athens College, Her MA
and EDS (education specialist) from Peabody College in Nashville, TN.
She attended the Leland Powers School of Speech and Drama in Boston, Massachusetts
She taught at Albertville High School and taught English at Troy State University for over 20 years
During her first seven years at Troy she directed the Playmakers in production that included
Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night".
She was a member of Troy Women's Club, Delta Kappa Gamma, and was a Charter
member of the Marshall County Historical Association

Past 20 years owner and operator of the Collinsville Funeral Home, Inc.
Retired Minister who pastored various churches in Alabama and
Mississippi. He was affiliated with several funeral homes in Alabama and
Mississippi since 1954.
