Mrs. Edith Vada Hatfield age 83 of Sulpher Springs, AL passed away Friday, August 30, 2002 at her residence. Mrs. hatfield was born July 21, 1919 in Georgia, daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Viola Yarbrough Barkley. She was a member of the Sulpher Springs Baptist Church. Her Husband; Marcus "Mark" Winford Hatfield preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be Sunday, September 1, 2002 at 2pm CDT at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eulas Hughes and Rev. Fred Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in the Sulpher Springs Cemetery.

Mr. David Edward Lockwood age 53 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Thursday,
March 1,2001 at BMC Dekalb Hospital in Fort Payne, AL. Born in Newton, KS,
was employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was preceded in death by his
Parents; John Lawton and Henrietta (Pribbenow) Lockwood.
Survivors include his Wife; Sandra (Daye) Lockwood of Fort Payne, AL
Brother; Stephen Lockwood of Brenton, KS
Sisters; Sandra Rutschman of Whitewater, KS., and Danna Lee Fulkerson
of Conway Springs, KS

Mrs. Mary Louverner Whitley age 84 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Thursday,
March 1, 2001 in the Crowne Health Care in Fort Payne, AL. Mrs. Whitley was a
native of Dekalb County, AL., born October 18, 1916, daughter of the late John
Thomas and Celia Columba Duke Turner. She was preceded in death by her
Husband; Willie Herman Whitley.
Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, March 3, 2001 at the Wilson
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Orien Whitley officiating. Burial
will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens. The family will receive
friends 4 until 8pm CST Friday, March 2, 2001 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Beulah T. Yarbrough age 89 of Fort Payne, AL formerly of Henagar, AL
passed away Friday, March 30, 2001 at BMC Montclair Hospital in Birmingham, AL
Born in Sylvania, AL a member of the Henagar Baptist Church and a member
of the Mahan Eastern Star Chapter #433 where she served as a past matron,
also she was past president of the Pastmatron and Patron Club.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Charlie and Nannie (Parker) Turner
Husbands; James Jenkins and Arthur Yarbrough
Six Brothers and One Sister.

Mr. Billy Ray Guffey age 54 of Dutton, AL passed away Monday, March 19, 2001
at his residence. He was retired from the Jackson County Board of Education, having
taught at North Sand Mtn. High School for 10 years. He was a member
of the Pisgah Masonic Progress Lodge #870. Mr. Guffey was a Vietnam Veteran
having served in the U. S. Marines. He was baptist faith.
