Mr. Manson D. (Max) Fountaine age 73 of Albertville, AL passed away December 16, 2000 at
BMC Dekalb Hospital in Fort Payne, AL. Funeral services will be at 2pm CST at the
Collinsville Funeral Home - Sharpe Chapel on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 with
Rev. Frank Teal officiating. Burial will follow in the Belcher Cemetery.

Survivors include his Wife; Theresa Fountaine of Albertville, AL.
Daughters; Linda Gibbs of Kilpatrick, AL., Patricia Hand of Albertville, AL.
Sons; Buddy Fountaine of Kilpatrick, AL., Toby Fountaine of Breman, GA.,
Max Fountaine of Kilpatrick, AL.
Step-Children; Chasity Fournier of Power Springs, GA., James Rychlik of Power Springs, GA.,
Jennifer Rychlik of Power Springs, GA.

Mrs. Shirley Faye Liles age 57 of LaFayette, AL. passed away December 22, 2000,
Friday. Funeral services will be 1pm CST Tuesday, December 26, 2000 at
The Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pisgah Cemetery in Pisgah, AL

Mrs. Willie B. White age 86 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Wednesday,
December 20, 2000 at the BMC Dekalb Hospital in Fort Payne, AL.
Mrs. White was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fort Payne, AL
and a retired school teacher. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Leon C. White.

Graveside services will be Saturday, December 23, 2000 at Glenwood Cemetery
at 11am CST with Rev. Mark Lacy officiating. The family will receive friends
Friday, December 22, 2000 from 4 until 6pm CST at the funeral home.

Willie Mae Wheeler of Stevenson, AL., John D. Wheeler, Jr. and family
of Athens and numerous Wheeler relatives of Pisgah, AL.

Mrs. Helen Bosworth Hill age 90 of Mentone, AL passed away Sunday,
December 24, 2000 at Crowne Health Care in Fort Payne, AL. She was born
May 7, 1910 in Birmingham, AL. daughter of the late Herbert E. and Sidney Jane
Lucas Bosworth. She has resided in Mentone, AL for the past 28 years. She
graduated from George Peabody School for teachers with a Master's Degree.
She taught school in Fort Payne, AL and Selma, AL and retired from teaching in
Clearwater, FL. She was very active in her church, Mentone United Methodist
Church and held offices as President and Secretary of the Rhododendron Garden
Club.

Graveside services will be at 11am CST Saturday, December 30, 2000 at Elmwood
Cemetery in Birmingham, AL with Rev. Linda Tucker officiating. The family will
receive friends from 4 until 7 pm CST at Wilson Funeral Home in Fort PAyne, AL.

Survivors include her Sons and Daughter-in-law; Frank and Linda Hill of Mentone, AL
Charles and Edie Hill of Bozeman, Montana.
4 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Charlotte Ann Brown Poltiakis age 51 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
Monday, December 25, 2000 at BMC Dekalb Hospital. She was born in
Man, WV on April 1, 1949 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brown
of Lybron, WV. Mr. Jarrell of Palm Beach, FL and the late Anna Ruth Jarrell.

Survivors include her Husband; George Poltiakis of Fort Payne, AL.,
one Daughter; Dawn Poltiakis Akins of Adamsburg, AL
Two Sons: George Poltiakis and Scott Poltiakis of Crossville, AL
4 Grandchildren
One Sister; Jeanie Butcher of South Point, OH.
Aunt and Uncle; Mr. and Mrs. Jarrett Crowley of Fort Payne, AL

Funeral services will be 2pm CST Wednesday, December 27, 2000 from
Wilson Funerals Home Chapel in Fort Payne, AL with Rev. Wayne Tarvin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Walker's Chapel Cemetery. The family
will receive friends from 12 until 2 pm CST Wednesday, December 27, 2000
at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be sons, Son-in-laws and friends.

Mrs. Lela Inez Tatum age 80 of Valley Head, AL (New Hope Community)
passed away Monday, December 25, 2000. Funeral services will be Thursday,
December 28, 2000 at Kerby Funeral Home at 1pm CST. Burial will follow in the New
Hope Cemetery on Hwy 40 East.

Mrs. Wilma E. Wilkes age 85 of Henagar, AL passed away Wednesday,
December 27, 2000. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 30, 2000
at 1pm CST at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Henagar, Cemetery.

Mrs. Margarete Lewis age 87 of Fort Payne, AL formerly of Greenville, AL. passed
away Friday, December 22, 2000 at Crowne Health Care. Mrs. Lewis was born
January 1, 1913 in Conecha, AL. daughter of the late Charley W. and Daisy Ellis Reid.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenville, AL.

Graveside services will be 2pm CST Sunday, December 24, 2000 at Magnolia
Cemetery in Greenville, AL with Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville, AL in charge
of the arrangements in Greenville, AL. The family will receive friends Saturday,
December 23, 2000 from 10 until 12 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne, AL

Survivors include her Sons; Robert Lewis and Charles Lewis both of Fort Payne, AL
6 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Vivian Craig age 74 of Rainsville, AL passed away Tuesday,
December 26, 2000 at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday,
December 29, 2000 at 2pm CST at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Cates Noles and Rev. Sam Lands officiating. Burial will follow
in the Town Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Eunice Fowler Dobbs age 96 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Wednesday,
December 27, 2000 at her residence. Mrs. Dobbs was a native of Dekalb County, AL
born November 7, 1904, daughter of the late Samuel Orien and Sara Estes Fowler.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Payne,, AL. She was preceded
in death by her Husband and Sister.

Funeral services will be 11am CST Saturday from the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with
Dr. Pat McFadden officiating. Burial will be in the Walker's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 7pm CST Friday, December 29, 2000
at Wilson Funeral Home. Pallbearers include Eulas Hughes, Bernard Cunningham,
W. J. Keef, Hugh Dobbs, Billy Roberts, and Jody Dobbs. Honorary Pallbearers
include Ed Burgess, Clarence Hughes, Joel Dobbs, and Eugene Dobbs.

Mrs. Brenda Alverson Jacobs age52 of Collinsville, AL passed away Saturday,
December 30, 2000 at the Riverview Medical Center in Gadsden, AL. The
family will receive friends Monday, January 1, 2001 at the Collinsville
Funeral Home from 5:30pm until 8pm CST. Funeral services will be
Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at 11am CST at the Collinsville Funeral Home - Sharpe
Chapel with Rev. Billy Alverson officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery.

Mrs. Frances Evelyn McSpadden age 90 of Henagar, AL passed away Friday,
December 29, 2000 at her residence. Mrs. McSpadden was a member of the
Henagar United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband,
Joseph Howell McSpadden.

She is survived by her Sons; Howell McSpadden of Henagar, AL
and Larry McSpadden of Henagar, AL
Daughters; Jewell Chisenhall of Fort Payne, AL
and Joann Gann of Fort Payne, AL
7 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren

Funeral services will be 11am CST Monday, January 1, 2001 at the
Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Barnett officiating. Burial
will follow in the Henagar Cemetery.

Mr. Arvin Belsha age 78 of Fort Payne, Al passed away Sunday,
December 31, 2000. Mr. Belsha was born in Texas on April 11, 1922
son of the late Jesse Lee and Donie Sholmire Belsha. He was a member
of Ruhama Baptist Church and retired from Best Maunfacturing.

Funeral services will be 11am CST Wednesday, January 3, 2001 at the Wilson
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Kellett officiating. Burial will follow
in the Walker's Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends Yuesday,
January 2, 2001 from 5 until 8pm CST at the funeral home.

Survivors include his Wife; Rosie Foy Belsha of Fort Payne, AL
Daughter and Son-in-law; Debbie and Larry Chatman of Fort Payne, AL
Grandchildren; Kim, Conrad, Samantha, and Rebecca.

Mrs. Bessie W. Mearse age 89 of Pisgah, AL (Rosalie Community)
passed away Monday, December 3, 2001 at North Jackson Nursing Home
in Bridgeport, AL. She was born in Jackson County, AL., member of the
Free Hill Baptist Church in Rosalie, AL. She was preceded in death by her
Parents; William and Johnnie McCormick Walker and her Husband; Emmett O. Mearse

Survivors include her Daughter and Son-in-law; Jo and Kenneth Rooks of Henagar, AL
Grandsons; Larry rooks and Chattanooga, TN., and Jack Rooks
of Huntsville, AL

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 5, 2001 at 2pm CST at the Kerby
Funeral Home Chapel with rev. Watson Williams officiating
