Mrs. Arbie Teegardin age 88 of Chattanooga, TN passed away Thursday,

Mrs. Nina Mae Boak Mountain of Henagar, Alabama, died on Tuesday, December 18, at Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz. She was born on October 7,1908, in Clay County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Clinton W. and Donia McKay Boak, and moved to Pisgah, Alabama, at a young age. She completed high school at Snead in 1928 and attended college at Snead and Jacksonville State University.
She taught several years in the Jackson and Dekalb County school systems. Mrs. Mountain had been an active member of the Henagar United Methodist Church for over 55 years,
Mrs. Mountain is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and R-EIla Mountain and Marland and Elizabeth Mountain, Henagar; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Ray Boozer of Tuscaloosa and Lynn and Alfred Germany of Pisgah; seven grandchildren, Tanya Boozer Thompson, Trent and Todd Boozer of Birmingham, Andrea Germany Wilson and Brad Germany of Huntsville, Maria Mountain of Anniston, and Manda Mountain of Henagar; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lillian Spears of Oklahoma City, and James and Verma Boak Reeves of Lineville; one brother and sister-in-law, C. W. and Pearl Boak of Flintstone, GA; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law Louie and Clara Ruth Mountain of Bridgeport; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lee Mountain, and three sisters, Winnie Mountain, Eugenia Camp, and lnez Schultz.
Visitation will be at Kerby Funeral Home Wednesday from 2:30 pm est until 8:00 pm cst.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursdav at 2:00 PM CST at the funeral home with interment following at Henagar Memorial Park, with Bro. Charles Smith and Leldon Hardin, officiating.
