Mrs. Janie Chapman Guest of Fort Payne, AL passed away Friday, April 26, 2002
at BMC Dekalb Hosptial. Funeral service will be 2pm CDT Sunday, April 28, 2002
t the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Glenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm CDT at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family will request donations be made in her memory
to St. Phillips Episcopal Church in Fort Payne, AL

Mr. Edward "Ed" Ray Jackson age 68 of Macon, GA formerly of Fort Payne, AL
passed away April 16, 2002 in Macon, GA.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 4, 2002 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
All family, friends, and Loved Ones are invited to attend.

Mr. Eugene T. Haygood age 67 of Fort Payne AL passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2002
at his residence. Mr. Haygood was born September 28, 1933 in Bartow County, GA, son of the late Alfed
G, and Mattie Pearl Hillhouse Haygood. He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired Janitor
with the Fort Payne City board of Education.

Survivors include his Daughter; Vennis Haygood of Fort Payne, AL
Step-Daughter; Lennis Shook of Gaylesville, AL
Step-Son; Dennis Lee of Fort Payne, AL
2 Grandchildren, 5 Step-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Grandchildren

Graveside service will be 2pm CDT Monday, May 5, 2002 at the
Needmore Cemetery in Gaylesville, AL with Rev. John Keefe officiating
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm CDT Thursday,
May 2, 2002 at the funeral home. The family ask in lieu of flowers that donation be made to the family.

Mrs. Nancy Pearl Harris age 87 of Ider, AL passed away
Wednesday, April 3, 2002 in Chattanooga, TN
Funeral service will be Thursday, April 4, 2002 at 2pm CST at the
Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Carl ball officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fuller Cemetery in Ider, AL

Mr. Junior Strickland age 67 of Henagar, AL passed away Sunday, April 7, 2002
in Huntsville, AL. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 9, 2002 at 11am CDT at
Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Cannady and Jimmy Shankles officiating.
Burial will follow in the Geraldine Cemetery.

Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his Parents; Raymond Lee Strickland, Sr.
and Ruby Norene Terrell Strickland. He was a member of the Henagar Baptist
Church. Also he was born in Marshall County, AL and was a Mason and a
veteran of the U. S. Army.

Mr. Chad Eric Ponder age 26 of Henagar, AL passed away Thursday,
April 18, 2002 in Henagar, AL Funeral service will be Sunday, April 21, 2002
at 11am CDT at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the
New Home Cemetery in Henagar, AL

Mr. Bobby Rayford Long age 54 of Pisgah, AL passed away Thursday,
April 25, 2002 at his residence. born in Newport, TN and a veteran of
Vietnam having served in the Army.

He was preceded in death by his father; James Marion Long and Brother; James Aubrey Long

Mrs. Ruby Nora Woofin age 103 of Stevenson, AL
(formerly of Pisgah, AL) passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2002 in
North Jackson Nursing Home. Funeral service will be Saturday,
April 27, 2002 at 11am CDT at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the
Pisgah Cemetery in Pisgah, AL

at 1pm CDT with Rev. Bobby DeHart officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery
in Ider, AL

Ms. Brenda Faye Reel age 51 went home to be with the Lord on
April 6, 2002. Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2002 from 12noon
until 9pm . Funeral service will be held Monday,
April 8, 2002 at 2pm from the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Roger Mardis and Rev. Steve Self officiating. Burial
will follow in the Town Creek Cemetery.

Brenda was born January 24, 1951 the youngest child of Otis and
Bertie Venable. She left to cherish memory a Daughter; Faye Sapp of
Langston, AL
Sons; Spencer and Rickey Wooten both Skyline, AL
Grandchildren; Colton and Amber Sapp, Hunter, Timothy, and Logan Wooten
Sisters; Ann Hicks of Rainsville, AL and Ada Adams of Section, AL
Brothers; Kermit Venable of Rainsville, AL and Howard Venable of
Scottsboro, AL
Several Nieces and and Nephews, a host of Friends, A wonderful
church family that she loved dearly. She was a member of Agape Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Otis and Bertie Venable, Husband; Max Reel,
Son; Ray Wooten, Sister; Edith Hubert.

Heaven's gain is our loss. We will be awaiting the day we meet Her again in Heaven.

Mr. Dewey Bethune age 83 of Rainsville, AL passed away Saturday,
April 6, 2002 at Dekalb BMC Hospital. Funeral service will be
Tuesday, April 9, 2002 at 2pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Craig White, Rev. Jimmy Griffin, Rev. Gerald Dukes, and Rev. Anthony
Pannell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View memory Gardens

Aril 10, 2002 in the Dekalb BMC Hospital in Fort Payne, AL
Funeral service will be Sunday, April 14, 2002 at 3pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Briggs King officiating.. Burial will follow in the Adamsburg Cemetery.

Survivors include his Son and Daughter-in-law; Bryce E. and Jacalyn King, Jr.
