Mrs. Magnolia (Smitty) Burnett (Granny) age 96 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Friday, October 4, 2002 at her grandson's home in Rome, GA after a lengthy illness. Magnolia wa born April 6, 1906 in Haleyville, AL daughter of hte late Sterling Emerson and Charlsie Margaret Blackstock Yearwood. Magnolia was retired from Goza Hosiery Mills and was a loving and caring person who touched many lives. She loved to read and work in her flowerbeds. Her 2 Husbands; Solomon Smith and George Burnett, Brother; W. S. Yearwood, and 2 Sisters; Charlsie Tucker and Nadine Wolf preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be 1 pm CDT Monday, October 7, 2002 at 1pm CDT at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mikel E. Garrett and Rev. Jeff Crane officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

MRS. SUSAN KAY GANJE
Mrs. Susan Kay Ganje age 56 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2002 in the BMC Dekalb Hospital in Fort Payne, AL. Mrs. Ganje was born January 20, 1946, daughter of the late Sherman and Varnia Burrough Mardis. She was a member of Minvale Baptist Church and employed at BMC Dekalb Hospital.
Funeral service will be 11am CDT Saturday, October 12, 2002 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alton Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will accept flowers or memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

MR. ROGER BRUCE GOGGANS
Mr. Roger Burce Goggans age 40 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at his residence. he was born November 28, 1961 in Albertville, AL son of Sue Knight Goggans and the late Willard Goggans.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 2pm CDT at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C. L. Wilborn, Rev. James Grindstaff, and Rev. Mike Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Kelly's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, October 18, 2002 from 5 until 9pm CDT at the funeral home.

MRS. BESSIE BLACK BRUCE
Mrs. Bessie Black Bruce age 96 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Sunday, October 20, 202 at the Crossville Health Care.
Mrs. Bruce was a native of Dekalb County, AL, the daughter of H. B. and Lelia Weathingon Black. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Payne, AL and retired Teller from Compass Bank of Fort Payne, AL.
Mrs. Bruce is Survived by her Brother; H. B. Black, Jr. and Sister; Lora Graves both of Atlanta, GA., and several Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside service will be Monday, October 21, 2002 at 11am CDT at the Glenwood Cemetery with Dr. Pat McFadden officiating. The family request instead of flowers donations be made to the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sue W. Lea age 82 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Tuesday, October 22, 202 in Chattanooga, TN. She was born July 30, 1920 in Alabama, daughter of the late Sherman and Maude Thomas Whatley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Baracca Sunday School Class, and the Golden Circle. Her Husband, Vester H. Lea preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be Friday, October 25, 2002 at 11am CDT at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Pat McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery

Mrs. Virginia Nell Gledhill Oyler age 72 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Friday, October 25, 2002 at BMC Dekalb Hospital. She was born August 28, 1930 in Dekalb County, AL, daughter of the late; Charles and Annie Green wood Gledhill.
Funeral service will be 2pm CST Sunday, October 27, 2002 from the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Watts, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Town Creek Cemetery.
