Marie Smith age 95 of Prattville formerly of Guin, AL was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 5, 2005.
Born in Guin, Alabama. She is the Daughter of the late Minton H. and Rebecca Elizabeth Kirk May and the Wife of the late Clarence Lethan Smith. She was a member of the Guin First Baptist Church.
She is survived by Two Daughters, Rebecca J. Smith and Daughter, Cathy of Alpine, Texas and Pat Myers and Son-In-Law, Charles Myers of Prattville, AL, A Son, Stephen "Mickey" Smith and Daughter-In-Law, Angela of Trussville, Alabama, A Daughter-In-Law, Margaret Smith of Lexington, AL, 20 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by Two Sons, Thomas W. Smith and James Robert Smith.
A Homecoming Celebration held Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Scott Stokes officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 - 2 pm at the funeral home.

Verla Robertson
Verla Robertson age 96 of Guin, Alabama died Friday, June 3, 2005 in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin, AL.
Born in Fayette County, Alabama. She is the Daughter of the late Jimmy Francis and Lisa Tishie Barnes Mosley and the Wife of the late John Ervin Robertson. She had lived in Guin most of her life and was a member of the Guin Church Of Christ.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and friends.
Services held Monday, June 6, 2005 at 2:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Dr. Rex Manasco officiating.

Marjorie Gann
Marjorie Gann age 84 of Guin, Alabama died Thursday, June 2, 2005 in the Beverly Health Care Center in Winfield, AL.
Born in New Albany, Mississippi. She is the Daughter of the late Johnny and Annie Miller Roberts and the Wife of the late Clifton Gann. She had lived in Guin most of her life and was a member of the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. She had worked at the Guin Hospital as a nurses aid.
She is survived by Two Sons, Robert Lee (Adine) Gann of Columbia, SC and David (Nancy) Gann of Guin, AL. Five Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren.
Services held Sunday, June 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. Bro. James Carrington officiating.

Luna Rushing
Luna Rushing age 86 of Guin, Alabama died Thursday June 2, 2005 in the Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.
Born in Tremont, Mississippi. She is the Daughter of the late William Houston and Ola Robinson Rye and the Wife of the late Wayne Rushing. She had lived in Guin since 1948 and was a member of the Guin First United Methodist Church. She had worked at Health Tex for 20 years.
She is survived by a Daughter, Joyce (Sam) Youngblood of Guin, AL, A Son, Don (Saundra) Rushing of Haleyville, AL. Four Grandsons, Barry Youngblood, Shane Youngblood, Kelly Rushing and Kyle Rushing and Six Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home
Private graveside services will be held later.
