Clement Lee Markham
Clement Lee Markham age 93 of Okeechobee, FL died Thursday, December 7, 2006 in FL. He was born December 13, 1912 in Lamar County, AL and had lived in Beaverton and Guin. Mr. Markham married his beloved wife, Rubye in 1935 and moved to Belle Glade, FL in 1945 and was employby Wedgeworth Farms, Inc. until his retirement in 1978. He enjoyed woodworking and crafted several grandfather clocks, violins and guitars, which he loved to play. Mr. Markham was a charter member and Deacon of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church in Okeechobee, FL.
He is survived by a Daughter, Carolyn (Bill) Grindstaff of Okeechobee, FL, A Son, Scottie (Jackie) Markham of Mt. Dora, FL, 3 Grandsons, Mark Grindstaff, of Okeechobee, FL, Jeff (Carol) Grindstaff of Erwin, NC and Scott Grindstaffof Creedmoor, NC, 2 Granddaughters, Stephanie (Laz) Figueroa of Miami, FL and Dana Cash of Mt. Dora, FL, 3 Great Grandsons, Wade, Grayson and Ethan, A Sister, Mary Lou Green hill of Tuscumbia, AL and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Rubye Markham.
Graveside Services held Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 2:00 pm from the Piney Grove Cemetery.

Dellar Foster Downey
Dellar Foster Downey age 78 of Sulligent died Sunday, December 3, 2006 in the Care Center Of Vernon.
Born in Sulligent, AL. She is the Daughter of the late John and Minnie Stockman and the Wife of the Late J. D. Downey. She had lived in Sulligent all of her life and was a member of the Peoples Tabernacle. She had worked for McCoy Manufacturing for 36 years before retiring.
She is survived by 5 Daughters, Mary Blaylock, Sue (Terry) Maybery, Shelia Taylor all of Sulligent, AL, Charlotte (Kevin) Upton of Hamilton, AL, and Diane (Butch) Oliver of Rockford, IL, 2 Sons, Robert Foster of Sulligent, AL and Perry Foster of Vernon, AL, 21 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and a special friend and caregiver, Faye Otts
She was also preceded in death by 2 Daughters, Betty Blair, and Patsy Rainey a host of other children she cared for.
Services held Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Philip Blaylock and Bro. Billy Ray Adams officiating.
Visitation Monday 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mary Lou Scott Lann
Mary Lou Scott Lann age 80 of Detoit, AL died Monday, November 27, 2006 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.
She was born in Green wood Springs, Mississippi, and was the Wife of the late Olie David Lann. She had lived in the Detroit area most of her life, was a member of the Detroit First Baptist Church and had retired from Detroit Slacks after 30 years.
She is survived by a Son, Larry (Betty) Lann, 2 Grandsons, Daniel Lann, Luke (Shana) Lann, and 2 Great Grandsons, Leif Lann and Landon Lann all of Sulligent, AL.
She was also preceded in death by a Grandson, Larry David Lann, Jr.
Services held Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Carter Cemetery. Bro. Danny Stanford, Bro. Tim Markham and Bro. Tommy Spruiel officiating.

Inez Crowe Stewart
Inez Crowe Stewart age 71 of Guin, AL died Friday November 10, 2006 at the residence.
Born in Walker County to the late Johnny Odell and Blanc Rosie Davis Townley. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church and a resident of the Guin area for many years. She had worked for the Guin Hospital as a Nurses Aid.
Survived by her Husband: Earl Stewart of Guin, AL, One Daughter: Kathy Crowe of Guin, AL, Six Sisters: Louise Taylor of Brilliant, AL, Doris Huff of Michigan City, Indiana, Nella Faye Alford of Birmingham, AL, Shirley Mishell of Nashville, TN, Betty Wates of Winfield, AL, and Patricia Kinsey of Lilbourn, MO, Two Brothers: Donald Ray Townley and Larry Townley of Lilbourn, MO, One Grandson: Chad Clark of Birmingham, AL.
