Mary Lou Scott Lann age 80 of Detoit, AL died Monday, November 27, 2006 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.
She was born in Green wood Springs, Mississippi, and was the Wife of the late Olie David Lann. She had lived in the Detroit area most of her life, was a member of the Detroit First Baptist Church and had retired from Detroit Slacks after 30 years.
She is survived by a Son, Larry (Betty) Lann, 2 Grandsons, Daniel Lann, Luke (Shana) Lann, and 2 Great Grandsons, Leif Lann and Landon Lann all of Sulligent, AL.
She was also preceded in death by a Grandson, Larry David Lann, Jr.
Services held Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Carter Cemetery. Bro. Danny Stanford, Bro. Tim Markham and Bro. Tommy Spruiel officiating.
Visitation Tuesday, November 28, 2006 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Elma McCraw
Elma McCraw age 93 of Marietta, GA formerly of Sulligent, AL died Monday, August 13, 2007 in the Autumn Breeze Health Care Center in Marietta, GA.
Born in Lamar County, AL. She is the Daughter of the late Dave and Mary Eliza Taylor Smith and the Wife of the late Floyd McCraw. She had lived in Sulligent, AL and Columbus, MS most of her life and was a member of the Taylor Springs Free Will Baptist Church.
She is Survived by Three Grandchildren, George Hugh Parsons, Jr. of Douglassville, GA, Evelyn G. Parsons of Largo, FL and Kay Parsons of Seattle, Washington and A Great Grandson Christopher Kunce.
She was also preceded in death by a Daughter, Glenda Parsons.
Services held Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with Burial in the Taylor Springs Cemetery. Bro. Keith Spencer officiating.
Visitation Wednesday 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Damon Cleveland Smith
Damon Cleveland Smith age 64 of Guin, AL formerly of Beaverton died Thursday, August 9, 2007 in the Northwest Alabama Medical Center in Winfield.
Born in Lamar County, AL. He is the Son of the late Andrew Cleveland and Fannie Gertrude Guyton Smith. He was a member of the Fairview Free Will Baptist Church and had lived in Beaverton most of his life.
He is survived by 3 Daughters, Sara Jane Smith of Sulligent, AL, Melisa Sue Smith Fenstermaker and Carrie Ann Smith both of Guin, AL, A Son, Damon Lee Smith of Splunge, MS, 2 Sisters, Barbara Ann Reed of Beaverton, AL and Linda Faye Rowden of Guin, AL, A Brother, Harold Smith of Guin, AL and 6 Grandchildren, Taylor Leanne Smith, Anna Kathrine Smith, Jessica Lynn Fenstermaker, Kirsten Nicole Fenstermaker, Zachary Thomas Tucker and Jayda Danielle Stokes.
He was preceded in death by a Daughter, Betty Sue Smith and a Son, Randy Smith.
Services held Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with Burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Bro. Russell Hill officiating.

Etma Markham age 92 of Tupelo, MS formerly of Guin, AL died Sunday, August 5, 2007 in the Cedars Nursing Home in Tupelo, MS.
Born in Guin, AL. She is the Daughter of the late Houston and Lonie Burleson Williams and the Wife of the late Jethro Markham. She had lived in Guin most of her life, had retired from Health - Tex and was a member of the Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church. She had lived in Tupelo for the past 5 years.
She is survived by A Son, Wilburn (Mary) Markham of Tupelo, MS, 3 Grandchildren, Tonya Barker, Crystal Bellamy and Rhonda Meador, 4 Great Grandchildren, Dylan Barker, Haley Grace Barker, Scott Meador and Matt Meador, A Great Great Granddaughter, McKenna Meador, and Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by Her Husband, Jethro Markham, 2 Sons, Bob and Joe Markham, 2 Sisters and 4 Brothers.
