Ferrill R. Clark
MADISON - Ferrill R. Clark, 84, died Wednesday at a local nursing home. A private funeral will be held.
Mr. Clark was a native of Indiana and had lived in Madison 14 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Johanne M. Johnson of Madison; three grandchildren, Bret L. Bury of Madison, Jeffrey C. Bury of Whitmore Lake, Mich., and Stacy L. Johnson of Huntsville; and two great-grandchildren.
William V. Davis
SECTION - William V. ''Bill Davis, 64, died Wednesday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Howell officiating.
Burial was to be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
Survivors include his wife, Retha Hooper Davis; one daughter, Kathy Davis of Scottsboro; two sons, Dale Davis of Dutton and Dewaine Davis of Scottsboro; his mother, Flossie Davis of Scottsboro; and three grandchildren.
Mickey Fugate
Mickey Fugate, 63, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The memorial service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Marcus Long officiating.
Mrs. Fugate was active in the real estate business in Huntsville for 20 years. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and lived in Huntsville 22 years.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Fugate of Huntsville; one daughter, Rhonda Dwyer of Elgin, Ill.; two sons, Rodrick Jake Fugate of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Robert L. Fugate of Huntsville; one brother, Harold Sizemore of Omaha, Neb.; and one granddaughter and two grandsons.
Visitation will be Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Thomas L. Gant
HENAGAR - Thomas Leonard Gant, 76, died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Revs. Rodney Hammonds and Bud Durham officiating.
Burial will be in New Home Cemetery in Henagar.
Survivors include his wife, Inez Whitfield Gant; one daughter, Teresa Gant of Bryant; two sons, James Robert Gant and Billy Leonard Gant, both of Pisgah; and one sister, Edna P. Arnold of Pisgah.
Visitation will be today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
William T. Goode
ATHENS - William Thomas Goode, 70, died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel in Athens with the Revs. Buel Gladney and Bobby Marks officiating.
Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery.
Mr. Goode was a U.S. Navy veteran, a retired farmer and a member of Tanner United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva R. Goode of Tanner; one daughter, Judy Wilson of Tanner; three sons, Tommy Wayne Goode, Johnny Goode and Randy Goode, all of Tanner; four brothers, Orville J. Goode, James Horace Goode, Doris Gene Goode and Jerry Goode, all of Athens; three sisters, Linda Byrd of Scottsboro, and Evelyn Cooley and Helen Slaton, both of Athens; and five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Robert A. Haralson
SILVER CITY, N.M. - Robert A. ''Bobby Haralson, 55, died Sunday in Silver City. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial was in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Mr. Haralson was financial officer for Bayard Medical Center in Silver City.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores L. Haralson of Silver City; three sons, Jerry Haralson of Huntsville, Michael Haralson of Texas and Jamey Haralson of Guntersville; his mother, Lowell Haralson of Guntersville; and three grandchildren.
Trinity R. Lewis
Infant Trinity Rosetta Lewis of Huntsville died Sept. 16 at a local hospital. The graveside service was Monday at Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with the Rev. Eugene Lewis officiating.
Nelms Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Survivors include her parents, Gerald and Teresa Lewis of Huntsville.
Teresa L. Lucas
ATHENS - Teresa Lynn Lucas, 31, of Reid Road died Wednesday in Limestone County. A graveside service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home of Athens in charge.
Mrs. Lucas was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Randall Lucas of Athens; one daughter, Melissa Lucas of Athens; her mother, Joyce Cline of Athens; one brother, Terry Cline of Athens; and one sister, Melinda Pitts of Tanner.
Barto L. Phillips
Barto L. Phillips, 65, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Swart Funeral Home in West Carrollton, Ohio.
Burial will be in Heritage Hills Memory Gardens in Springboro, Ohio, with Twickenham Funeral home in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Phillips had lived in Huntsville seven years.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Phillips of Huntsville; two sons, Christopher Phillips of Los Angeles and Stephen Phillips of Huber Heights, Ohio; one daughter, Penny Charlton of Carlisle, Ohio; one brother, Forrest O. Phillips of Arizona; one sister, Jeanne MacLeese of Long Island, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.
Alfred J. Pyle
GUNTERSVILLE - Alfred Jerry Pyle, 81, of 309 Terrace Lake Drive died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral was Wednesday at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial was in Arab Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Pyle; three sons, Ralph Pyle of Arab, Donald Pyle of Kansas and Robert Pyle of Missouri; one brother, James Keller of Ohio; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Sallie V. Ware
CROSSVILLE - Sallie Volden Ware, 89, of Crossville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Grace Hill Cemetery in Albertville with Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Harrison Wells Jr.
Harrison "Sonny" Wells Jr., 54, of 3214 Rita Lane died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Bartley P.B. Church with Dr. William T. Gladys officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Wells of Huntsville; one daughter, Shameka Natasha Ford of Huntsville; five sons, DeVenchie Ford and Harrell Tamon Wells, both of Huntsville, Harrison Jackson of New Market, Md., Harry Thompson Wells of Columbus, Ga., and Aubrey Torro Wells of Dallas; five sisters, Bobbie Ann Dean, Brenda Wells, Rosa Lisa Crawford, Angela Crawford and Penny Crawford, all of Miami; one brother, Oliver Crawford of Miami; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Suzanne B. Woodliff
Suzanne B. Woodliff, 79, of Huntsville died Friday at a local nursing home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Woodliff was retired from Redstone Arsenal, was a member of the Church of the Nativity Episcopal Church and was a volunteer at Huntsville Hospital.
Survivors include one son, John L. Woodliff of Uniontown, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Amy Woodliff and Ben Woodliff.
Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Nativity Episcopal Church or to a favorite charity.
