C.W. Bridges
FLINTVILLE, Tenn. - The Rev. C.W. "Jeff" Bridges, 76, of Flintville Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Buck Frazier and the Rev. Sam Gulley officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
The Rev. Bridges was a native of Marshall County and was a minister for 46 years at several churches in north Alabama and south Tennessee. He was also an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Iva Harbin Bridges of Flintville; one daughter, Linda Hilliard of Madison; one son, Charles Wayne Bridges of Huntsville; three sisters, Thelma Burgess of Collinsville, Sue White of Huntsville and Willie Hugh Allison of Chicago; two brothers, Wilburn Bridges of Grant and A.C. Bridges of Arab; and one grandchild, two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kathleen Bryant
MERIDIANVILLE - Kathleen Bryant, 73, died Monday in Fayetteville, Tenn. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. Albert Long officiating.
Spry Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Mrs. Bryant was a native of DeKalb County and had lived in Madison County since 1950. She was a member of Murphy Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Allan Bryant of Meridianville; one sister, Frances Nell Burns of Sylvania; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary A. Bryant
HIGDON - Mary Anna Seabolt Bryant, 82, died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Free Hill Baptist Church in Rosalie with the Rev. Watson Williams officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar in charge.
Mrs. Bryant was a longtime member of the Free Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Bryant Sr.; and four sons, Dewey Edward Bryant, Floyd Bryant, Charles Bryant and G.D. Bryant.
Survivors include four daughters, Gayle Romans of Higdon, Shirley Burton of Henagar, Lillie Smith of Flat Rock and Carolyn Spencer of Valley Head; one son, Loyd Bryant of Browntown; two sisters, Eunice Bryant of Ider and Louise Wise of Fackler; one brother, Roy Seabolt of Bryant; and 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Billy Childers
Billy Childers of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Childers was retired from the Army and from Dunlop Rubber and Tire Co.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Cobb Childers of Huntsville; four sons, Billy R. Childers and Steve M. Beshears, both of Huntsville, and Ricky D. Beshears and Gary W. Beshears, both of Hazel Green ; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today and Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Betty J. Covan
Betty Joan Covan, 60, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Covan was a registered nurse, an artist, a homemaker and a native of Clarke County. She had lived in Huntsville since 1971 and was a member of New United Methodist Church of Monrovia.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Covan of Huntsville; one daughter, Cindy Covan of Old Hickory, Tenn.; one son, Mark Covan of Madison; and one brother, Marion Singleton of Jackson.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

James T. Hill
James Tracy Hill, 78, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Charles V. McKay and the Rev. Eddie Lones officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mr. Hill was a native of Madison County. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and had served in the U.S. Air Corps. He was a member of NARFE, was retired from civil service at MICOM and was a member of Lim Rock United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marveline Hill of Huntsville; one daughter, Patricia A. Cooper of Madison; two stepdaughters, Jeanette Broad of Brownsboro and Brenda Blankenship of Huntsville; and one granddaughter and six step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Scott R. Johnson
Scott Richard Johnson, 28, of Huntsville died Sunday in Huntsville. The funeral will be Thursday at noon at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Curtis Eason officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was a native of Lexington, Ky., and worked at SCI.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Duggan of Melbourne, Fla.; his father, Roy L. Johnson of Tampa, Fla.; his stepfather, Joseph Duggan of Melbourne, Fla.; three sisters, Janine Browne of Hazel Green, Debbie Beeler of Sunrise, Fla., and Jessica Johnson of Huntsville; one brother, Bryan D. Johnson of Merritt Island, Fla.; four stepbrothers, Michael Duggan and Tim Duggan, both of Huntsville, John Duggan of Clearwater, Fla., and Dan Duggan of New Market; and two grandparents, John and Katherine Moore of Greenville, S.C.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Alonzo W. Lincoln
Alonzo Wade Lincoln, 72, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church with the Rev. George K. Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Lincoln was a native of Madison County and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was retired from civil service with NASA and was a charter member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred E. Lincoln of Huntsville; two sisters, Mary W. Hicks and Margaret Lee, both of Hazel Green ; two brothers, Clyde Lincoln of Taft, Tenn., and Calvin Lincoln of Tacoma, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Charity Baptist Church, 1127 Charity Lane, Hazel Green, 35750.

Judy B. McKee
Judy Baugher McKee, 55, of Huntsville died Sunday at a Memphis hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Murray Wilton officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. McKee was a member of Southside Baptist Church for 28 years.
Survivors include her husband, Van Doug McKee of Huntsville; two sons, Kevin McKee of Laceys Spring and Crandall McKee of Huntsville; two sisters, Eula Stacy of Huntsville and Sarah McCravy of Decatur; one brother, Bobby Baugher of Toney; and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gilbert T. Naylor
BOAZ - Gilbert T. Naylor, 82, of 116 Naylor Road died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial will be in Whitesboro Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Vincent and Diane Naylor, both of Georgia, and Sharon Thompson of Whitesboro; four sons, Milton Naylor of Crossville, Travis Naylor of Attalla, Donald Naylor of Georgia and Terry Naylor of Whitesboro; one sister, Irene Davis of North Carolina; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Martha Neely
HARTSELLE - Martha Lee Patterson Neely, 60, of 1397 Parker Road S.E. died Monday at a Cullman hospital. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at West Hartselle Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Ledlow and the Rev. Jack Redfearn officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Neely was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church and was a third grade teacher at Falkville Elementary School.
Survivors include her husband, Walter J. Neely; one daughter, Leigh Anne Johnson Craft of Hartselle; one stepdaughter, Barbara Suddeth of Warrior; one son, Chris Johnson of Hartselle; and four grandchildren.

Margaret A. Smith
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Margaret Armstrong Smith, 87, formerly of Dyersburg, Tenn., died Monday at a Tennessee nursing home. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis.
Memorial Park Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Survivors include three daughters, Joan Smith Ramier of Memphis, Patricia Smith Gill of Huntsville and Anne Smith Sarber of Roanoak, Va.; one sister, Frances Armstrong Keefe of Gainesville, Ga.; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.

Harris Taylor
ELKMONT - Harris ''Tally Taylor, 81, of Upper Elkton Road died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with Booster Graves officiating.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was a native of Limestone County, a member of the Baptist Church, a an Army veteran of World War II, was retired from Redstone Arsenal and was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Taylor; two daughters, Mavalene ''Mot Wray of Prospect, Tenn., and Judy McNatt of Elkmont; seven sons, Bobby Taylor, Roy Taylor, Grady Paul Taylor, Robert Taylor, Marshall Taylor, Marshall Taylor, Ted Taylor and Tim Taylor, all of Elkmont; and 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Jane T. Waggoner
Jane Thompson Waggoner, 83, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local nursing home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Waggoner was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Andra T. Esslinger of Huntsville and Ann Thompson of California; and nephews.
