Terry Lynn Clemmons
ATHENS - Terry Lynn Clemmons, 42, of Lawngate Road died Thursday at his residence. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with David Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Clemmons was a member of Lucas Ferry Church of God and was a painter.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Clemmons; one daughter, Rebecca Ann Kell of Nashville; four sons, Joseph Lynn Clemmons, Timothy Lynn Clemmons, Steven Lynn Clemmons and Teddy Lynn Russ, all of Athens; his mother, Louise Moses of Athens; seven sisters, Jeanette Daugherty of Chicago, Ina King of Lexington, Genene Pendergraff of Nashville, Judy King, Bonnie Tollison, Betty Goolsby and Margie Morris, all of Athens; four brothers, Bobby Clemmons of Anderson, Billy Clemons of Chicago and Buford Clemmons and Donny Clemmons, both of Athens; and one grandson.

Walter Cowley Sr.
Walter Cowley Sr., 78, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Mayberry officiating.

Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Cowley was a retiree from Marshall Space Flight Center and a World War II Navy veteran who served aboard the U.S.S. New Mexico. He was a charter member of the B.M.W.M.D.A. and a life member of the American Motorcycle Association.

Survivors include two sons, Robert R. Cowley of Huntsville and Walter W. Cowley Jr. of Daphne; and one grandson.

Visitation will be today at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m.

Susan Hall
HAZEL GREEN - Susan Diane Hall, 48, died Thursday at a local hospital. A private funeral will be held.

Spry Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.

She was a lifelong resident of Madison County.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Simchack of Hazel Green ; a daughter, Stacy Diane Hall of Hoover; a sister, Carol Lindsey of Birmingham; and two brothers, John Robison of Birmingham and Jeff Robison of Huntsville.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Huntsville Hospital.

Margaret L. Henshaw
Margaret Lucille Henshaw, 80, of Huntsville died Friday at home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James George officiating.

Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Henshaw was a Madison County native and a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Judith Powers of Huntsville; one son, Wayne Henshaw of Wilmington, N.C.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Family Care.

Jack Jenkins
ALBERTVILLE - Jack Jenkins, 73, of 723 Baltimore Ave. died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz.

Survivors include his wife, Mary S. Jenkins; one daughter, Marilyn Goggans of Hazel Green ; two sons, Ronald Jenkins of California and Robert Jenkins of Cullman; four sisters, Sarah Mills and Betty Hutchins, both of South Carolina, Annette Curry of Albertville and Peggy King of Decatur; five brothers, James Jenkins of California, Ralph Jenkins of Utah, Eugene Jenkins of Arab, Thomas Jenkins of Florida and Jerry Jenkins of Albertville; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Richard Judkins Sr.
Richard Grafton Judkins Sr., 63, of Huntsville died Thursday at an Atlanta hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Mike Hicklen, Col. Spiegle and Sharon Eng officiating.

Mr. Judkins was employed by the Department of Defense.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Kathryn Judkins; two daughters, Mary Krell of Huntsville and Sharon Eng of Hong Kong; two sons, Richard Judkins Jr. of Huntsville and Stephen Jenkins of Wichita Falls, Texas; his father, Grattan Edward Judkins of New Mexico; two brothers, Edward Judkins and Dennis Medeiros; three sisters, Linda Foster, Elizabeth Lee and Judith Eguchi; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross in Mr. Judkins name.

Mary Leigh Magness
ANNISTON - Mary Leigh Magness, 78, of Green brier-Dear Road died Thursday. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens.

Mrs. Magness was a native of Davis, W. Va., and a resident of Anniston for the last 45 years.

Survivors include two sons, James R. Magness of Huntsville and Howard E. Magness of Marshfield, Mo.; two daughters, Minnie Leigh Magness of Anniston and Omajean I. Maloney of Auburn; one sister, Ruth Pinto of Detroit; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m.

James H. Mooney
JOPPA - The Rev. James Henry Mooney, 80, of 360 Hill Top Road died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Hill Top Church of God.

Burial will be in Ellenburg Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Ollie Mooney; one daughter, Faye Ellenburg of Joppa; four sons, David Mooney of Arizona, C.J. Mooney of Eva and Leon Mooney and Jerry Mooney, both of Joppa; one sister, Dollie Roberson of Arab; one brother, Charlie Mooney of Tennessee; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. today at the church.

Caitlyn Owens
MADISON - Caitlyn E. Owens of Madison died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The graveside service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Madison City Cemetery with Madison Chapel Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include her parents, Andy and Amy Owens of Madison; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glascock of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hamilton of Barlow, Ky.

Nicholas Pitts
Nicholas Jason Pitts, 17, of Hubert, N.C., died Thursday in a North Carolina hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Gallant Funeral Home, Hazel Green, with the Rev. James Holt officiating.

Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.

He was a native of Madison County and played drums for the Alabama Pride band in North Carolina.

Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Deborah Payton of Hubert; one brother, Travis Payton of Hubert; grandparents, Aron McKin of Elora, Tenn., Francis Collier of Huntsville and Norma Emily of Toney; great-grandmother, Lillie Belle Holt of Vann Town, Tenn.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Henderson Rudder
RAINBOW CITY - Henderson Hughes Rudder, 56, of Rainbow City died Thursday. The funeral will be today at 12:30 p.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel with Dr. Gary Ashley officiating.

Burial will be in Stevenson City Cemetery.

Mr. Rudder was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection and a member of an adult Sunday School class at Meadowbrook Baptist Church. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Mr. Rudder was employed with Goodyear for 34 years.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Winton Rudder; one stepson, Thomas Winborn Jr. of Troy; and his father, Walter H. Rudder of Gadsden.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Trust Fund at 48 Medical Park East Drive, Suite 154, Birmingham 35235 or The Webb School, P.O. Box 488, Bell Buckle, TN 37020.

James W. Saint
ARAB - James Wilburn Saint, 57, died Friday in Arab. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.

Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother, Zolar Saint of Arab; four sisters, Dorothy Conkle and Kathryn Daniel, both of Arab, and Billie Stapp and Shirley Hodges, both of Holly Pond; and one brother, Robert Saint of Warrenton.

Hollis Sizemore
FYFFE - Hollis Sizemore, 89, of Fyffe died Friday in a Gadsden hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Sizemore officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Masonic graveside services.

Mr. Sizemore was a retiree from Chrysler, a Shriner and a 50-year Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Sizemore; one daughter, Ruth OBrien of Michigan; three sisters, Margerta Brandenburg of Albertville, Bobbie Lee Richey of Geraldine and Emma Johnson of Waterford, Mich.; four step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today after 3:30 p.m.

Sarah Smith
ARAB - Sarah Pauline Smith, 83, of 1149 County Road 1819, died Thursday at a Huntsville hospital. A graveside service was Friday at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include two daughters, Rita Smith of Arab and Vivian S. Eagleson of Georgia.

Maxine Venable
ELKMONT - Maxine A. Venable, 72, of 27334 New Bethel Road died Thursday in an Athens hospital. Her funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Taylor Funeral Home, Ardmore, with Bobby Ogle officiating.

Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.

She lived in Elkmont for the last 22 years, was a homemaker and a member of Pettusville Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, J.D. Venable; three sons, Charles Burkart of Ohio, Randy Burkhart of Elkmont and David Burkhart of Nashville; two stepsons, Jerry Venable and Joey Venable, both of Florida; one stepdaughter, Robbie Ann Smith of Florida; three brothers, Dana Dearth and Myles Dearth, both of West Virginia, and James Dearth of Ohio; three sisters, Evelyn Johnson, Mary Stewart and Jerri Reed, all of Ohio.

Howard Wallace
Howard Allen Wallace, 79, of Huntsville died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Huntsville Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wallace was a native of Paint Rock, a member of Northside Baptist Church, a retiree from Thiokol and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Beulah L. Wallace; two sons, Dennis A. Wallace of Vinemont and Roger H. Wallace of New Market; two brothers, Clarence E. Wallace of Harvest and Gilbert H. Wallace of Huntsville; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m.

Mae Wright
ARAB - Mae Drucilla Wright, 87, of 522 Kimball Road died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.

Burial will be in New Brashiers Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include two sisters, Lula Bell Maze and Jewell I. Terrell, both of Arab.
