Husie Allison
BRIDGEPORT - Husie ''Bub Allison, 83, died Thursday. The funeral will be Wednesday at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Revs. Clark Williams and Billy Joe Earls officiating.
Burial will be in Old Baptist Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Thelma Johnson; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and his special friends, Vergie Cranfield and George Henry.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Willis B. Brewer
Willis B. Brewer, 59, of Huntsville died recently at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home East with Bro. Ollie Cooper officiating.
Burial will be in Twickenham Memory Gardens.
Mr. Brewer was a native of Franklin County, Tenn., and a member of Grassy Mountain Holiness Church. He was a driver for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for 25 years.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth B. Brewer of Dallas, Texas, and Stacey Brewer of Grant; one daughter, Pam Montgomery of Falkville; two brothers, Thomas Brewer of Huntsville and Billy Brewer of Flintstone, Ga.; two sisters, Frances Woodard of Laceys Spring and Marie Rich of Fayetteville, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Hammond V. Fields
LACEYS SPRING - Hammond Van Fields, 82, died Thursday at a Huntsville hospital. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Fields Cemetery in Laceys Spring with Smith E. Ledbetter and Ben Riley officiating.
Spry Funeral Home will be in charge.
Mr. Fields was a Morgan County native and lived in Laceys Spring the last 19 years. He attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Vann Fields.
Survivors include his wife, Cecile M. Fields; three daughters, Patricia F. Rasco of Laceys Spring, Beverly Ann Fields of Valhermoso Springs and Linda K. Holley of Tampa, Fla.; seven brothers, Harley Fields of Valhermoso Springs, Herbert Fields and Hugo ''Pete Fields, both of Laceys Spring, Henry Fields of Columbus, Ga., and Hershell Fields, Harry Fields and Homer Fields, all of Detroit; one sister, Charleen Ogle of Union Hill; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Diabetes Foundation.

Cecil W. Foshee
STEVENSON - Cecil Wayne Foshee, 51, died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Revs. George Maynor and Jerry Walton officiating.
Burial will be in Stevenson City Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Melanie Foshee of Rainsville; his mother, Inez Foshee of Stevenson; three sisters, Mary Jo Smith of Trenton, Ga., and Nancy Jones and Jackie Holder, both of Stevenson; and one brother, Jeremy Foshee of Stevenson.
Visitation was to be today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Reba N. Gladden
MADISON - Reba Newby Gladden, 83, died Saturday at Valley View Nursing Home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial chapel in Trussville, Ala., with Bro. Paul Walker officiating.
Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
Mrs. Gladden was a native of Athens, a longtime resident of Birmingham and a partner in business with her late husband, Reston E. Gladden. She was a member of Crescent Ridge Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband and by two sons, John S. Gladden and Bob G. Gladden.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Lowell Hill of Birmingham, Gale and Martin Melton of Hoover and Winkie and Allen Blake of Harvest; two daughters-in-law, Pat Gladden and Elois Gladden Caddell; three sisters, Mae Knight of Cottondale, Ruth Johnson of Athens and Christine Mitchell of Huntsville; one brother, Ed Newby of Elkmont; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and friends, Linda Kennemer and Kennemer, Eddie and Amy Caddell and Nicole Price .
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Leon R. Hampton Sr.
SCOTTSBORO - Leon Ray Hampton Sr., 55, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Mardis officiating.
Burial was to be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.
Mr. Hampton was a native of Indiana and had retired from Ford Motor Co.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Hampton; two daughters, Leanne Hampton of Detroit and Deanna Ealy of Scottsboro; one son, Leon Ray Hampton Jr. of Warren, Mich.; three sisters, Joyce Tony of Muskeegan, Mich., and Charlotte Barrett and Loretta Mann, both of Florida; and two grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to C.A.S.A.

Aubrey C. Hoge
PISGAH - Aubrey Calvin Hoge, 57, died Saturday. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Macklin Baptist Church in Rosalie with the Revs. Bill Bass, Bud Durham and Glen Hicks officiating.
Burial was to be in Pleasant View Cemetery with Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Loyce Pitts Hoge; one daughter, Tammie Bass of Pisgah; one son, Wade Hoge of Pisgah; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.A. Hoge of Pisgah; three sisters, Jane Gilbert, Catherine Roberts and Carolyn Atkins, all of Pisgah; and five grandchildren.

Elton Howell
HARTSELLE - Elton Howell, 83, of 1009 Pattillo St. died Saturday at a Decatur hospital. The graveside service was to be today at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens with the Rev. Melvin Hunter officiating.
Peck Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Mr. Howell was a native of Morgan County and was retired from Tennessee Valley Cotton Oil Co.
Survivors include one daughter, Gail Johns of Picayune, Miss.; one son, James E. Howell of Hartselle; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Lindsey M. Knapp
HARTSELLE - Lindsey Michelle Knapp, infant daughter of John and Lynn Knapp of Hartselle, died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Flynn officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Survivors include one sister, Meagan Knapp of Hartselle; two brothers, Nathaniel Hall and Marcus Gigandet, both of Hartselle; and his grandparents, David Hall of Toney, Jack and Patricia Knapp of Phoenix, Ariz. and Gene and Velma Dudley of Somerville.
Visitation will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Helen V. Lawler
Helen Veola Lawler, 87, of Huntsville died Monday at a local funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lawler was retired from Sears after 20 years. She was a longtime member of the Pilot Club of Huntsville and a lifetime resident of Huntsville.
Survivors include one sister, Lillian L. Martin of Fayetteville, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fred O. Massey
Fred Osborne Massey, 77, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Tom Reynolds of Central Church of Christ and Tommy Rosenblum of Plainview Church of Christ officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Massey was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and was retired from the Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Underwood Massey; two daughters, Charlotte Massey and Freda M. Dobbs, both of Huntsville; one son, Fred Steven Massey of Huntsville; one sister, Grace James of Russellville; six grandchildren and one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to The Ark or to Central Church of Christ.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lillian B. Mitchell
Lillian B. Mitchell, 84, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Lem Tipton officiating. Burial will be in Hastings Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay Reynolds of Huntsville and Sylvia Bynum of Manassas, Va.; one brother, Hubert Franklin of Athens; one sister, Mary Mitchell of Ardmore, Ala.; and three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charlotte E. Panzer
Charlotte Else Panzer, 93, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at St. Marks Lutheran Church with Pastor Vernon Luckey officiating.
Survivors include one sister, Edith Bleyer Lange of Berlin, Germany; two nieces, Edith Lange May of Zurich, Switzerland, and Ingeborg Lange Hurford of Gray, Tenn.; two nephews, Wolfgang Lange of Berlin and Jurgen Lange of Siegen, Germany; and two grandnieces and two grandnephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church, 200 Longwood Drive in Huntsville, 35801.

Mary E. Pridmore
ALBERTVILLE - Mary Etta Pridmore, 88, of 1172 Irvin Lane died Saturday at a local hospital. The graveside service was to be today at 1 p.m. at Nixon Chapel Cemetery.
Adams Funeral Home of Albertville will be in charge of burial.
Survivors include one daughter, Audrey Martin of Albertville; one sister, Plura B. Bobo of Arab; one brother, Cecil Franklin of Arab; and four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Robert E. Rains
BOAZ - Robert Emery ''Rob Rains, 99, of 55 Whit Lane died Saturday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Asbury Methodist Church.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Adams Funeral Home of Albertville in charge.
Mr. Rains was a retired carpenter and farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Rains, and one daughter, Elneeta Willmore.
Survivors include two daughters, Emma R. Cheek of Boaz and Phylis Fargo of Georgia, and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Bessie L. Wilks
PISGAH - Bessie L. Barrontine Wilks, 90, died Sunday. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. Kevin Wilks officiating.
Burial was to be in Henagar Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Wilks was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace M. Wilks, and one son, Talmadge Wilks.
Survivors include one daughter, Halloweze Dunn Jarboe of Birmingham; one sister, Donnie Wilks of Sylvania; and four grandchildren.

Carl E. Young
Carl Edward Young, 67, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Anderson officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Mr. Young attended the FBI National Academy and studied criminology at LSU. He was retired from the Huntsville Police Department after 25 years and had been captain of the uniform division and a detective.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Young of Huntsville; two daughters, Teresa Tucker and Tammy Watson, both of Huntsville; one son, Jeffrey Scott Young of Huntsville; one sister, Mildren Parker of Huntsville; and six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
