HARTSELLE - Hazel T. Hammond, 74, of 403 Cedar St. died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Revs. Joe Hoover and Calvin Inman officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hammond was a member of East Highland Baptist Church and was retired from Maison Morgan department store, where she was a manager.
Survivors include her husband, George Hammond; one son, Thomas G. Hammond of Decatur; two sisters, Mary Alice White and Anita White, both of Jackson, Tenn.; three brothers, Joe W. Thornton of Middleton, Tenn., Jim Thornton of Memphis and George W. Thornton of Hartselle; and two grandchildren.
J.C. Hobson Howell
DECATUR - J.C. Hobson Howell, 87, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating.
Burial will be in the Decatur City Cemetery with Roselawn Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Howell owned and operated Dillehays Drug Co. from 1930 until 1975, was a member and deacon at Southside Baptist Church and was a former member of the Decatur Housing Authority.
Survivors include his wife, Inez Howell; one son, Dr. Charles B. Howell of Decatur; and three grandsons, one step-grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Bertha M. King
PISGAH - Mrs. Bertha M. Britton King, 90, died Monday. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Revs. Gerald Wooten and Bud Durham officiating.
Burial was to be in Green haven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Francis King, and by a daughter, Nancy King.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruby Clark of Rocksprings, Ga.; three sons, Walter L. ''Buck King, Delbert ''Skeet King and Joe H. King, all of Pisgah; and five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mulchandbhai P. Patel
DECATUR - Mulchandbhai Pujabhai Patel, 41, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at 3 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Manju Patel.
Edith M. Radford
Edith May Radford, 81, of Huntsville died Wednesday at her home. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Radford was a native of Galt, Ontario, Canada, and had lived in Huntsville 27 years. She was a volunteer at Huntsville Hospital for 23 years and was a member of International Womens Club and the Friendship Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Earl Radford.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra E. Stewart of Huntsville and Dianne G. Childress of Chesapeake, Va.; two sons, Dennis H. Radford of Novi, Mich., and Paul D. Radford of Suwanee, Ga.; one sister, Florence Daniels of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mary L. Reynolds
Mary Laverne Reynolds, 84, of Huntsville died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Bill Cantrell and Donald Ramey officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Reynolds had lived in Huntsville most her life and was a member of the East Huntsville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Charles Reynolds Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Gray and Karen Bender, both of Huntsville, and two grandsons, Clark Gray and Travis Bender.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

ALBERTVILLE - Charles Edward Shelton, 56, of 108 West Scott Ave., died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Keith Shelton of Albertville; one sister, Frances Carmean of Albertville; and one brother, Bobby Shelton of Guntersville.
Grace I. Willmore
ALBERTVILLE - Grace Irene Willmore, 79, of 403 Colvin St. died Monday at her home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include two daughters, Daisy Tate of Huntsville and Anne Jenkins of Knoxville; two brothers, Earl Mitchell and John Mitchell, both of Albertville; and three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Lowell M. Anderson
Lowell M. Anderson, 90, of Huntsville died Monday at a Jackson, Tenn., hospital. A memorial service was today at 11 a.m. at Whitesburg Baptist Church.
Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory in Jackson is in charge of cremation.
Mr. Anderson was a native of Sandstone, Minn., and was a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a bachelors degree in architecture. He designed many projects, including an airport runway in Honolulu, nuclear plants, dams, test stands at Marshall Space Flight Center, boat docks in Baltimore and Pascagoula, Miss., and the Monte Sano Pool.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Lee Gwin Anderson of Huntsville, and one stepson, Richard David Anderson.
Elizabeth R. Boyd
LYNCHBURG, Tenn. - Elizabeth Rutledge Boyd, 74, died Friday at a Lynchburg nursing home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Julius R. Scruggs officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three daughters, Anni Bailey, Evelyn Donegan and Letitia Moore, all of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one son, Louis P. Boyd Jr. of Huntsville; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Edith Bullerman
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Edith McCown Lindsay Bullerman, 93, of 2135 First Ave. died Monday at her home.
The funeral will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at McCauley Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tenn., with Dr. Calvin Todd officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Bullerman was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn., where she attended high school and Bryson College. She worked for Fayetteville Medical Clinic 27 years and was a former member of Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles R. "Coach" Lindsay and Fred Bullerman, and by one son, Charles M. Lindsay.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Glenna Podlaha of Muncie, Ind.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Charles E. Burklin
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Charles Edward Burklin, 75, died Saturday in Charlotte, N.C. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Fayetteville First Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Graham, Van Johnson and Emerson Wiles officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with Higgins Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Burklin was a native of South Pittsburg, Tenn., and was manager of National Stores in Fayetteville for 39 years, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of First Baptist Church.
Katherine E. Hedricks
ONEONTA - Katherine Elizabeth Hedricks, 30, of 1301 Lincoln Ave. died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial will be in Haneys Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Lucille Hedricks of Oneonta; two sisters, Mary Chaney of Guntersville and Elaine Washburn of Cleveland; and one brother, John L. Hedricks of Oneonta.

Roeshell Yvonne Toney Houchin, 48, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Chelsea C.P. Church with the Rev. H. Wendell Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one son, Perence Houchin of Huntsville; her mother, Selekia Toney of Huntsville; and one brother, Eric Readus of Huntsville.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

ALBERTVILLE - Nellie True Medlock, 77, of 1706 Highway 205 South, died Tuesday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include one sister, Mary I. Rhoden of Albertville.
Maebelle S. Meeks
FORT PAYNE - Maebelle Stoner Meeks, 82, died Wednesday in Anniston. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Meeks was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Meeks.
Survivors include two sons, Prentice Meeks of Orlando, Fla., and Michael Meeks of Marietta, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

ARAB - Georgia Mae ''Ann Mercante, 73, of 502 7th St. Northeast died Wednesday at her home. The graveside service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Brookwood Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Mercante; one daughter, Kathryne L. Young of Arab; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Christine A. Murdock
SCOTTSBORO - Christine Alice Ohlson Murdock, 65, died Wednesday at a local hospital. A memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
A cremation interment will be held at the convenience of the family with Scottsboro Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Murdock was a longtime member of the Cradle Rock Chapter No. 125. She served as a volunteer with the Jackson County Hospital Auxiliary, working at the Jackson County Nursing Home.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene A. Murdock; two sons, Scott Murdock of Dallas, Texas, and Eric Murdock of Glenwood, Iowa; one brother, Carl Ohlson of Pittsburg, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Nancy Elizabeth Vinson Osment, 74, of 32 West Point Drive died Wednesday at a Fayetteville nursing home. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Rosenblum officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Osment was a native of McMinnville, Tenn., and was a former seamstress for Jonathan Logan. She also attended Camargo Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by one son, William Ronald Osment.
Survivors include her husband, William Milton Osment of Fayetteville; four daughters, Betty Graham and Sandra Tillman, both of Fayetteville, Deborah Newby of Huntsville and Marcia Maples of Pensacola, Fla.; one son, Howard Osment of New Hampshire; two brothers, Howard "Jack" Vinson and Claude "Buck" Vinson, both of McMinnville; and nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rudolph was a native of Baxter, Tenn., and was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.

Mr. Sproston, a native of Rock Island, Ill., spent most of his life in Madison County. He was employed with Wang as a senior data technician and was a U.S. Army veteran.
