Randall D. Adams
ATHENS - Randall DeWayne Adams, 32, of 19046 Moyers Road died Sunday at an Athens hospital. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Dimple Cordell
FLAT ROCK - Ms. Dimple Cordell, 99, died Sunday. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson.
Burial will be in Smith Cemetery in Flat Rock.
Ms. Cordell was a retired school teacher and a member of Flat Rock Methodist Church where she served as a pianist, a Sunday school teacher and the church historian. She was also a graduate of the University of Montevallo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Cordell.
Survivors include one daughter, Edna E. Shelton of Ooltewah of Ooltewah, Tenn.; two sons, William David Cordell of Flat Rock and James H. Cordell of Fort Payne; and five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Flat Rock Methodist Church.

Winnell W. Edwards
DECATUR - Winnell Watkins Edwards, 79, died Saturday. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tommy Smothers officiating.
Burial will be in Somerville Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards was a retired store owner and a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Joe Edwards of Somerville; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mona O. Hart
HARVEST - Mona Odell Hart, 82, died Sunday at Athens Convalescent Center. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Fords Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Hart was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Dyar of Boaz and Debra Flatt of Dallas, Texas; four sons, Billy J. Hart of Minor Hill, Tenn., Jimmy Hart of Los Angeles, Gary Hart of Grant and Steven Hart of Waynesboro, Ga.; two sisters, Berry Bozarth of Tuscaloosa and Etheleen Bozarth of Huntsville; two brothers, Malcolm Bozarth of Huntsville and Buddy Bozarth of Tuscaloosa; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Tommy R. Holder
Tommy Ray Holder, 34, of Huntsville died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Nixons Chapel Cemetery in Guntersville.
Mr. Holder was a native of Chicago and had lived in Madison County 22 years.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Peggy and Charles Wooldridge of Huntsville; one sister, Helen N. Burgess of Huntsville; one stepsister, Rhonda Lynn Wooldridge of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, D.J. Holder of Florence and Charles Stacey Wooldridge of Huntsville; and one stepbrother, Thomas Eric Wooldridge of Baltimore.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ethel M. Huggins
GRANT - Ethel Marie Huggins, 78, died Saturday at her home. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery.
Spry Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Mrs. Huggins was a native of Morgan County and was a retired textile worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Huggins; and one son, David Huggins.
Survivors include three daughters, Mona Ruth Gentles of Grant, Janice Jones of Guntersville and Faye Rhoden of Paducah, Ky.; one son, Shelby Gene Huggins of Huntsville; one sister, Juanita Champion of Talladega; and 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Ira Maples Hughes
OWENS CROSS ROADS - Ira Maples Hughes, 78, of Owens Cross Roads died today at a local hospital. The funeral will be announced by Spry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hughes was a native of Owens Cross Roads and a member of the Galilee Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Nan Hughes of Marietta, Ga.; and one sister, Magnolia Woodard of Tullahoma, Tenn.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Geneva S. Jackson
Mrs. Geneva S. Jackson, 72, of Huntsville died Oct. 17 at a local hospital. The funeral was Saturday at Owens Chapel M.B. Church with the Rev. Dr. H. Wendell Thompson officating.
Burial was in Northside Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl L. Jackson and Theresa J. Plummer, both of Huntsville; three sons, Elmer L. Jackson, Charles A. Jackson and Carl M. Jackson, all of Huntsville; two brothers, William Henry Sales of Huntsville; the Rev. Samuel Sales of Knoxville; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Kastorff
ARDMORE, Ala. - Elizabeth Kastorff, 61, of Whippoorwhill Lane died Saturday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Robert B. Parnell officiating.
Burial will be in Stateline Cemetery.
Mrs. Kastorff was a native of Washington County and a housewife.
Survivors include her husband, Speed Kastorff of Ardmore, Ala.; four daughters, Nina K. Hartless of New Market, Laura B. Johnston of Alabaster and Tracy L. Norris and Rebecca L. Kyliavas, both of Hazel Green ; one sister, Michelle Perry of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; seven brothers, Collier L. Parnell of Wagarville, Percy H. Parnell Jr. of Lucedale, Miss., Victor W. Parnell of Theodore, Robert B. Parnell of Newville, Lawrence Parnell of Denham Springs, La.; Jeff Q. Parnell of Chunchula; and Randall W. Parnell of Hurley, Miss.; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Donald G. Kellogg
Donald George Kellogg, 76, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Concord Cemetery with Jimmy Franklin officiating.
Spry Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Mr. Kellogg was a native of Kalamazoo, Mich., and had lived in Huntsville 16 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired after 20 years. He also worked at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo for 15 years.
Survivors include one sister, Eileen VandeWalle of Otsego, Mich.; and close friends, James and June Lones of Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Virgia R. Lumsden
HARTSELLE - Virgia Ruth Lumsden, 85, of Eubanks St. died Sunday at a Falkville hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Terry Nappier officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Lumsden was a homemaker and a member of Southwest Baptist Church in Hartselle.
Survivors include her husband, William Elbert Lumsden of Hartselle; three daughters, Lenora Yarbrough, Sue Bailey and Barbara Schonebaum, all of Hartselle; one brother, Calvin Collins of Muscle Shoals; three sisters, Mary Maze and Clois Hardin, both of Arab, and Ava Rutledge of Harvest; and eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gerald Smallwood
Gerald Smallwood, 71, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Smallwood of Huntsville; one daughter, Jacqueline Venettozzi of Huntsville; two sons, Danny Lee Smallwood of Huntsville and Gerald Lee Smallwood Jr. of Athens; and three grandsons, three granddaughters, two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Terry Wayne Smith
NEW MARKET - Terry Wayne Smith, 59, of New Market died today at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Smith was a retired physicist and member of Sigma Pi Sigma physics honorary. He was born in Shreveport, La., and had lived in this area since 1965. He was a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana and did graduate studies at the Univeristy of Arizona.
Survivors include his wife, Meryal Smith; his mother, Audrey May Smith of Shreveport; and one brother, Frederick Martin Smith Jr. of Lawton, Okla.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Family Care.

Mary Wells
LEWISBURG, Tenn. - Mary Lee Oliver Wells, 95, of 1371-A Silver Creek Road died Sunday at a Tennessee nursing home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at McCauley Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Edwards officiating.
Mrs. Wells was a native of Marshall County, Tenn., a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by three sons, Billy Wells, H.L. Wells and Charles Wells.
Survivors include four daughters, Frances Welch of Petersburg, Tenn., Juanita OKelley of Madison, Tenn., and Janice Norris and Barbara Hargrove, both of Lewisburg; one son, Bill Wells of Petersburg, Tenn.; one sister, Josephine Conwell of Lewisburg; and 30 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, four nephews and two nieces.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
