Arnell Bankston
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Arnell Bankston, 64, of Old Huntsville Highway died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be announced by Gallant Funeral Home.

Marie Alexander Bone
Marie Alexander Bone, 41, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. A memorial service will be Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Laurence Dill officiating. Burial will be in a Montgomery cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements. Mrs. Bone was former city president, North Alabama executive and executive vice president of AmSouth Bank. She was a member of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee in 1996, president of the United Way of Madison County in 1996 and one of three leaders of the capital campaign committee for the new Huntsville Museum of Art that began in 1994. Also in 1996, she was one of three women honored by Girls Inc. as a role model for girls today. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Wilson Bone. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cobb Alexander of Montgomery; and one brother, Dr. Howard Cobb Alexander Jr. of Huntsville. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 607 Airport Road, Huntsville 35802.

Mae Helen Buffaloe
Mae Helen Milam Hall Buffaloe, 84, of Huntsville died Thursday in Colorado Springs. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Ed Culpepper officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Buffaloe was a retired teacher from the Madison County schools and a member of the Alabama Retired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Homer A. Hall and L.C. Buffaloe. Survivors include two daughters, Lynda Romero and Emily Vandiver, and one son, George Hall, all of Huntsville, and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday at Spry from 5 to 9 p.m.

Gussie Mae Campbell
ARDMORE, Ala. - Gussie Mae Campbell, 84, of 28521 Gatlin Road died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Lynn Marshall and Dr. Ray Stonecypher officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, J.D. Campbell and Tommy Campbell, both of Ardmore; one daughter, Betty Jo Whitman of Ardmore; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Charles DeCourcy
LINTON, Ind. - Charles N. DeCourcy, 78, formerly of Huntsville, died Friday at a hospital. A Masonic memorial service is planned for today at 7 p.m. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with the Rev. Richard Russell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Richard DeCourcy of Linton; two daughters, Christy DeCourcy of Hazel Green and Janette Webb of Linton; one brother, Harry DeCourcy of Franklin, Tenn.; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Charles E. Harvey
Charles E. ''Ted Harvey III, 37, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Marys Church of the Visitation with Father William Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Harvey is survived by one sister, Mary Catherine Harvey of Huntsville. Visitation will be Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Laughlin. A prayer vigil is planned at 6:30 p.m.

Richard Judkins Sr.
Richard Grattan Judkins Sr., 63, of Huntsville died Thursday at an Atlanta hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Mike Hicklen, Col. Spiegel and Sharon Eng officiating. Mr. Judkins was employed by the U.S. Department of Defense. Survivors include his wife, Mary Kathryn Judkins; two daughters, Sharon Eng of Hong Kong and Mary Krell of Huntsville; two sons, Richard Judkins Jr. of Huntsville and Stephen Judkins of Wichita Falls, Texas; his father, Grattan Edward Judkins of New Mexico; two brothers, Edward Judkins and Dennis Madeira; three sisters, Linda Foster, Elizabeth Lee and Judith Eguchi; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be today at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross in Mr. Judkins name.

Donald Ray Patrick
ATLANTA - Donald Ray Patrick, 64, of Atlanta, formerly of Huntsville, died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be announced by Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Mr. Patrick was employed by NASA as a mechanical engineer and worked on the space program. He was a graduate of Auburn University and a native Huntsvillian. Survivors include two daughters, Laurie Patrick Dunn of Huntsville and Lisa Patrick Van Beber of Atlanta; one son, Jeremy Walker Patrick of Birmingham; one sister, Evelyn Daniel of Huntsville; and three grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the National Crohns and Colitis Foundation, AGAPE or the Twickenham Church of Christ library fund.

Irene Pendergrass
SECTION - Irene Pendergrass, 83, died Saturday at a Scottsboro hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will be in Davistown Cemetery. Survivors include one sister, Pansy Robins of Scottsboro; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be today from 4 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nicholas Jason Pitts
HUBERT, N.C. - Nicholas Jason Pitts, 17, died Thursday at a hospital in Greenville, N.C. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Holt officiating. Burial will be in a Lincoln County, Tenn., cemetery. Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Deborah McKin Payton of Hubert; one brother, Travis Payton of Hubert; his grandparents, Aron McKin of Elora and Francis Collier of Huntsville and Norma Emily of Toney; and his great-grandmother, Lillie Belle Holt of Vann Town, Tenn. Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green .

Meadie Belle Pope
GUNTERSVILLE - Meadie Belle Burgett Pope, 91, of 2501 Mockingbird Lane died Friday at her home. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sweet Home Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville in charge. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jo Weaver of Guntersville and Nina Simpson of Birmingham, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The body will be at the church an hour before the service.

''Homer Shelton
KELSO, Tenn. - ''Homer Shelton, 87, of 235 Howell Hill Road died Friday at a Lincoln County hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Revs. Carlos Beddingfield and Buck Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Shelton operated Shelton Grocery and was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Shelton; one son, Fred Shelton; one daughter, Mildred May, all of Kelso, Tenn.; two sisters, Lyda Williams and Mildred Vaught, both of Akron; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Annie Louise Troup
Annie Louise Troup, 69, of Huntsville died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Alan Howard officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Troup. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Troup; one daughter, Brenda Sue Troup of Portage, Ind.; one sister, Irene Scott of Huntsville; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Troup of California, and Jason Bruzek, Becky Troup and Stephanie Troup, all of Portage, Ind. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home.

Alta Mae Williamson
GURLEY - Alta Mae Williamson, 78, died Saturday. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. Mrs. Williamson was a Madison County native. Survivors include one daughter, Faye Wilson of Gurley; one brother, Dallas Robins of Decatur; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Visitation will be today at Spry from 5 to 9 p.m.
