Lanny Anderton
ARAB - Lanny Anderton, 31, of 360 Kenyon Road died Friday in an auto accident. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at New Friendship Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Kathie Anderton; his parents, William ''Shorty Anderton and Marie Anderton of Arab; two sisters, Sherri King of Arab and Olisa Medlock of Birmingham.
The body will be at the church an hour before the funeral.
Kenneth E. Cantrell
Kenneth E. Cantrell, 67, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Bill Ivey officiating.
Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.
Mr. Cantrell was a native of Madison County and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was also an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include one son, Mark Cantrell of New Market; one sister, Beatrice Gold of Huntsville; one brother, William Cantrell Jr. of New Market; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mary Gilk
ATHENS - Mary Gilk, 64, of 1303 East Elm St. died Friday at her home. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Athens with the Rev. Joseph Allen officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include six sisters, Judy Stevens of Athens, Mable Jones of Cullman, Lena Jones and Sophie Jones, both of Shakopee, Minn.; Charlotta George of Chesterton, Tenn., and Rose Dickey of Nashville; and one brother, Lonnie Stevens of Athens.
A rosary will be said today at 5:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with visitation until 9 p.m.
Ethel Hirschinger
Ethel Mae Hirschinger, 88, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local nursing home. A service is planned Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Baraboo, Wisc., with the Rev. Myron Talcott officiating.
Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo with Spry Funeral Home directing local arrangements.
Mrs. Hirschinger was a Westfield, Wis., native and a Madison County resident for the past 2 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice Wohlfert of Huntsville and Faye Terry of Apple Valley, Calif.; one sister, Viola Tait of Kenosha, Wis.; five grandchildren, Mark Wohlfert and Shane Wohlfert, both of Huntsville, Jeffrey Terry and Christine Lewis, both of Apple Valley, Calif., and Wendy Moriarty of Rockville, Md.; and one great-granddaughter, Paige Lewis of Apple Valley, Calif.
Johnnie Ingram
LAKE CHARLES, La. - Johnnie Ingram of Lake Charles, La., formerly of Huntsville, died Wednesday at a Lake Charles hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Northside Cemetery in Huntsville with the Rev. Curtis Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Northside Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Ingram was born in Madison, Ala., and worked for many years as a respiratory therapist at Harper Hospital in Detroit. She was a member of Plymouth United Church.
Survivors include a grandson, Dr. Charles A. Murhpy of Lake Charles; a great-granddaughter, Maegan Murphy of Lansing, Mich., and an aunt, Mrs. Virginia Harris of Huntsville.
John S. Keeton
John Samuel Keeton, 69, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce the funeral.
Mr. Keeton was born in Marion, Ala., and had lived in Madison County for the past 24 years. He attended Guntersville United Methodist Church and retired from the Navy with 22 years of service. Mr. Keeton was a member of the Gurley Masonic Lodge and Helion Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Cryer Widner Keeton; two sons, Larry Franklin Keeton of Poland and Donald Wayne Keeton of Birmingham; two stepdaughters, Rondia Turner of Vero Beach, Fla., and Mary Hodges of Birmingham; one stepson, Clifford Hodges of Birmingham; one grandson and one step-granddaughter.
Robbie M. LaGrone
Robbie McRae LaGrone, 94, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The graveside service was Friday at 1 p.m. at Oddfellow Cemetery in Okolona, Miss., with Dr. Roy McHenry officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home directed local arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Bobby Dudley and Joyce LaGrone Freisen, both of Huntsville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be sent to First Baptist Church in Okolona.
Anna M. Martin
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Anna Murrell Martin of 4 Booneville Cemetery Road died Friday at a Tennessee hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Copeland and Bro. Jack Jean officiating.
Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
Ms. Martin was a member of the Booneville Church of Christ and a former employee of Serbin Fashions.
Terry D. Moses
FORT PAYNE - Terry Dewayne Moses, 40, died Saturday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Melvin Pace and Cates Noles officiating.
Burial will be in Burnt Church Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Anna Marie Moses of Fort Payne; his mother, Betty S. Moses of Rainsville; three sisters, Phyliss Gladney Wood and Shena Hamilton, both of Fort Payne, and Tena Ledford of Fyffe; one brother, Temmy Moses of Fort Payne; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva M. Hicks and Mr. and Mrs. Gad Moses.
Atallah Pack-Tiller
Infant Atallah Pack-Tiller, 2 months, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral was Saturday at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. T.C. Johnson officiating.
Burial was in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.
Survivors include her mother, Jessica Pack-Tiller; her father, Carl Garmon Jr., both of Huntsville; the grandparents, Carl and Janice Garmon of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Stephanie and ONeal White Jr. of Huntsville; and a great-grandmother, Sandra Tiller of Huntsville.
Edith G. Rousseau
Edith Gentle Rousseau, 70, of Huntsville died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be today at 2:15 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Aubrey Pockrus officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Rousseau was a Jackson County native but had lived in Madison County for many years. She was a member of Third Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Rousseau; one daughter, Alice Eldridge of Huntsville; one son, Jimmy H. Rousseau of Savannah; her mother, Zula Gentle of Jackson County; one sister, Dovie Giles of Chattanooga; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Verma B. Sewell
Verma B. Sewell, 82, of Huntsville died Friday at a local nursing home. The graveside service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Spry Funeral Home will be directing.
Mrs. Sewell was a native of Section and had lived in Huntsville since 1945. She was retired from the U.S. Army Missile Command.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Sewell Jones of Bellevue, Wash.; a sister, Ernestine Sims of Jacksonville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Grace L. Steuber
Grace Lucille Steuber, 72, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The graveside funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Roman Meuller officiating.
Spry Funeral Home will be directing.
Mrs. Steuber was a New York native and had lived in Huntsville since 1963. She was a member of St. Josephs church.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond S. Steuber; two daughters, Barbara Brodeur of Huntsville and Betty Smith of Highridge, Mo.; two sons, Raymond Louis Steuber of Huntsville and Johnnie Steuber of Richmond; one brother, Cecil Williams of New York; three sisters, Kathryn Cates of Ohio, Doris Otten of Missouri and Diana Zinbardo of New York; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Josephs Catholic Church.
Fabian P. Wiederecht
Fabian Wiederecht, 85, of Huntsville died Friday at a local nursing home.
Burial will be in New Orleans with Laughlin Service Funeral Home directing local arrangements.
Mr. Wiederecht served in World War II in the Pacific Theater and received his bachelors and masters degrees from Tulane University in New Orleans. He was a longtime resident of New Orleans and a consultant with International Executive Service Corp. for the State Department.
Survivors include his wife, Edith G. Wiederecht; two sons, John H. Wiederecht of Jasper and Fabian P. Wiederecht Jr. of Huntsville; and three grandchildren.
