Byron W. Crumbley
Byron Wayne Crumbley, 46, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Huntsville Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric Maddox officiating.
Burial will be in Flintville Cemetery in Flintville, Tenn., with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Crumbley was a member of Huntsville Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Crumbley of Huntsville; two sons, Jeremy Crumbley and Skye Crumbley, both of Huntsville; three daughters, Christina Brown and Amber Brown, both of West Virginia, and Celena Kirkwood of Huntsville; and five grandchildren, two aunts and one uncle.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Chad W. Dean
ELKMONT - Chad Wesley Dean, 20, of Harris Loop Road died Saturday in Moulton. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Burial will be in Pleasant Point Cemetery.
Mr. Dean was a native of Limestone County, a member of Craigs Chapel Church of Christ, a former student at West Limestone High School and was employed at Steelcase Inc.
Survivors include his parents, Timmy and Carolyn Dean of Elkmont; one sister, Amanda Dean of Elkmont; one brother, Brent Dean of Elkmont; grandparents, Milton and Marilyn Wooldridge and Branson Dean, all of Athens; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Roberta D. Fischer
LEMONT, Ill. - Roberta Dunn Fischer, 51, died Nov. 13. The funeral was Tuesday at St. Johns Lutheran Church in La Grange, Ill., with the Rev. James Haberkost officiating.
Burial was in Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Clarendon Hills, Ill., with Howell and James Funeral Home in Downers Grove, Ill., in charge.
Mrs. Fischer was a resident of Huntsville from 1956 to 1959 and attended Westlawn School.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Fischer of Lemont; one daughter, Kimberly Miller of Chicago; one son, John Meyer of Woodridge, Ill.; two stepsons, Robert Fischer of Champaign, Ill., Michael Fischer of Indian Head, Ill.; her parents, retired Col. and Mrs. H.B. Dunn Jr. of Huntsville; and three grandchildren.
Masamichi Hoshi
Masamichi Hoshi, 48, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. Services will be in Japan with Spry Funeral Home of Athens in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Hoshi was a native of Japan and was employed at McCord Leakless in Athens.
Survivors include his wife, Nagako Y. Hoshi of Japan; one daughter, Yuri Hoshi of Japan; one son, Masahori Hoshi of Japan; one sister, Suzuyo Onozaki of Japan; and one brother, Teruaki Hoshi of Japan.
Ruth W. Johnson
HARVEST - Ruth Wakefield Johnson, 93, died Sunday at a local hospital. No funeral is planned.
Burial will be in a cemetery in Florida with Spry Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Ernest Jenkins of Harvest; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
John C. Orr
GADSDEN - John Clifton Orr, 86, of 3001 Topeka St. died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Orr; one daughter, Dorothy Hall of Crossville; one son, Dale Orr of Crossville; one brother, Gordon Orr of Albertville; and eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Robert E. Pitcock Sr.
DECATUR - Robert Elwood Pitcock Sr., 77, of 701 13th Ave. S.E., died Saturday at a local hospital. A memorial service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. David Lawler officiating.
Burial will be in Popes Creek Cemetery, Bayesville, Va.
Mr. Pitcock was a retired project engineer with NASA at Redstone Arsenal, an Army Air Force veteran of World War II and was with the Air Force Reserve 10 years. He was also a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Pitcock; one daughter, Jessica Pitcock Masters of San Antonio; one son, Robert E. Pitcock Jr. of Killen; one brother, John F. Pitcock of Baltimore; and six grandchildren.
Beulah M. Poole
Beulah Mae Poole, 81, of Huntsville died Sunday at a Fayetteville, Tenn., hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Kilpatrick of Clarksville, Tenn.; one son, Donald Ray Edwards; six stepdaughters, Louise Head of Melbourn, Fla., Bernice Senechel of Warren, Mich., Barbara Kirk and Gloria Andelin, both of Antioch, Calif., and Wilma Hunt and Patsy Burrough, both of Huntsville; one stepson, James Poole of Huntsville; and two grandchildren, 25 step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Robert L. Raney
MONTGOMERY - Robert Lee "Bob" Raney, 39, formerly of Madison died Nov. 14. The memorial service was Tuesday at Madison United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bobby Ray Hallbrooks officiating.
Mr. Raney served in the Navy a number of years and was buried at sea.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Galarda "Tess" Raney of Montgomery; one son, Jeremiah Galarda Raney of Montgomery; one daughter, Eleanor Naomie Raney of Montgomery; his mother, Eleanor Ann True Raney of Montgomery; one sister, Donna Jill Raney Taylor of Montgomery; one brother, Michael Allen "Mike" Raney of Huntsville; paternal grandmother, Mable Oldfield Raney of Huntsville; maternal grandmother, Gladys McFarlen True of Madison; and one niece and one nephew.
Joe W. Saudlin
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Joe West Saudlin of Able Road died Saturday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. James Barnes officiating.
Mr. Saudlin was a farmer.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Neal of Smyrna, Tenn.; two sisters, Ruth Commons of Fayetteville and Nadine Sears of Canada; one brother, Bobby Saudlin of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren.
Clarence A. Sims GUNTERSVILLE - Clarence Avery Sims, 74, of 2408 Thomas Ave. died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Welcome Bethel Non-denominational Church.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sims; three sons, Frank Bennett of Albertville, Tommy Bennett of Boaz and Larry L. Sims of Guntersville; and one sister, Ilene Windsor of Guntersville.
Charlie A. Stone
UNION GROVE - Charlie Allen Stone, 75, of 54 Bramlett Road died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was in Mt. View Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Ruth Stone; two sons, Floyd Stone of Union Grove and Michael Stone of Huntsville; one sister, Frances Edmonds of Grant; one brother, Olen Stone of Oneonta; one foster sister, Marie Klimb of Memphis; and one grandchild.
K. Thomas
SCOTTSBORO - K. Thomas, 59, died Saturday in Cherokee, N.C. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Maynor officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Beard Thomas of Scottsboro; two daughters, Pam Vernon of Woodville and Paula Wilson of Boaz; his mother, Ruby Kennamer Thomas of Scottsboro; one sister, Sue Thomas of Scottsboro; and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Marinda Williamson
GUNTERSVILLE - Marinda Denise Williamson, 14, of 1832 Ligon St. died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Minor Primitive Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Guntersville City Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville in charge.
Survivors include her parents, Kim and Carrol Williamson of Guntersville; six sisters, Brandy Williamson, Jessica Williamson, Courtney Williamson, Kimberly Williamson, Natelyn Williamson and Mary K. Williamson, all of Guntersville; five brothers, Lonnie Williamson, Loren Williamson, Marcus Williamson, Eric Williamson and Jacob Williamson, all of Guntersville; grandparents, Kathryn Moore of Guntersville and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wallace of Texas; and great-grandmother, Sally Wallace of Oneonta.
