James P. Aday
James Price Aday, 72, of Huntsville died today at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home south chapel with the Rev. Jim Daughty officiating.
Burial will be in Twickenham Memory Gardens.
Mr. Aday had lived in Huntsville his entire life. He was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Aday.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Lee Aday of Huntsville; one stepson, Jeff McDonald of Somerville; two daughters, Sheila Thompson of Grant and Martha Harris of Hazel Green ; two stepdaughters, Wanda Lemley of New Hope and Ann Burrow of Huntsville; and five grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

James B. Campbell
MAYSVILLE - James Benny Campbell, 60, died Monday at a Jackson County hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Paint Rock Cemetery.
Mr. Campbell was a native of Madison County and worked for Neely Coble Co. of Decatur.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane Campbell of Maysville; one daughter, Regina Worthey of Woodville; one son, Russell Campbell of Paint Rock; one stepdaughter, Kathy Ezell of New Hope; three stepsons, Frank Gullion, Mark Gullion and Monty Gullion, all of New Hope; one brother, Gene Campbell of Huntsville; one half-sister, Nancy Campbell of Gurley; and two grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

James O. Dobbins
BOAZ - James Oliver ''Jim Dobbins, 79, of 3550 Alabama 168 died Sunday at a local hospital. A graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz.
Carr Funeral Home of Boaz was in charge of burial.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Dobbins; three sons, Troy Dobbins of Auburn, Jerry Dobbins of Boaz and Donnie Dobbins of Birmingham; one sister, Euthema Scott of Boaz; two brothers, Albert Dobbins of Boaz and Carl Dobbins of Attalla; and 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Lena M. Hagood
ATHENS - Lena Mae Hagood, 78, of 1401 North Malone St. died Monday at an Athens hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Tim Keenum and James Harris officiating.
Burial was to be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hagood was a native of Limestone County and she and her late husband, Richard Hagood, owned and operated Lucys Branch Grocery for several years.
Survivors include one daughter, Julia Mitchell of Athens; one son, Richard Hagood Jr. of Decatur; four sisters, Mable Hastings of Athens, Lillian Adams of Pulaski, Tenn., Ruby Hughes of Nashville and Margaret Willard of Winter Haven, Fla.; one brother, Woodrow Harris of Winter Haven; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Joe J. Howard
NEW MARKET - Joe Jac Howard, 43, died Sunday at a local hospital. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New Market United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Nunez officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Howard was a lifelong resident of Madison County.
Survivors include his wife, Debra M. Moriarty of New Market; one daughter, Kate Jo Howard of New Market; his mother, Dorothy C. Howard of New Market; one brother, Stan Howard of New Market; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to New Market United Methodist Church.

Viola Jackson
WOODVILLE - Viola Jackson, 89, of 1401 Kennamer Cove Road died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be in Free Home Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth McWain of Madison, Ruby Hutchens of Woodville and Mary Jane Willis of Grant; one son, Herman Jackson of Woodville; one brother, Alonza Sims of Woodville; and 32 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

Hettie J. Jolley
GUNTERSVILLE - Hettie Jo Jolley, 62, of 720 Fossett Road died Monday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial was to be in Walker Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, James ''Jimmy Jolley of Albertville; five brothers, Sherman Davis of Guntersville, J.D. Davis, John Davis and Robert Davis, all of Grant, and Erskin Davis of New Hope; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pamela S. Mann
HAZEL GREEN - Pamela Suzanne Mann, 9, died Sunday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with the Revs. Bobby Eads, Lee J. Hudson and Harry Brooks Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Miss Mann was a member of First Baptist Church of Hazel Green, where she was in the childrens choir. She was also a member of Girls in Action and the Beanie Baby Club.
Survivors include her parents, Steve and Pat Mann of Hazel Green ; one sister, Melissa Nicole Mann of Hazel Green ; and her grandparents, Roger and Shirley Rommens of New Market, JNeese Irvin of Huntsville and Melvin H. Irvin of Athens.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to The Childrens Hospital of Alabama, 1600 7th Ave. South, Birmingham, 35233 or to Madison Academy.

Erma I. Mussett
Erma I. Mussett, 82, of Huntsville died Sunday at her home. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Hal Oakley officiating.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon A. Walker of Alexandria, Va.; and three grandchildren, Deborah Walker of Jacksonville, Fla., Jeff Walker of Morgan City, La., and Keith Walker of Atlanta, Ga.
Memorial donations may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church Helping Hands or Hospice Family Care.

Walter Quesenberry
HARTSELLE - The Rev. Dr. Walter Henry Quesenberry, 86, died Sunday at a Chattanooga, Tenn., hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Revs. John ONeil, Brent Logan, Joel Logan, Shane Williams and Charles Sparks officiating.
Burial will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullman County.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Quesenberry of Hartselle; three daughters, Jean Harris of Chattanooga, Carolyn Logan of Decatur and Phyllis Williams of Graniteville, S.C.; one brother, Arlie Quesenberry of St. Louis, Mo.; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Ragsdale
Dorothy Ragsdale, 80, of Huntsville died Sunday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Scott Gossett officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Joe T. Ragsdale of Huntsville; two sons, Robert Joe Ragsdale of Maryland and William Bryant Ragsdale of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Junior Rutledge of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Earl Rutledge of Ohio; and three sisters, Nell Porter of Huntsville, Doris Hartman of Virginia and Sue Blaylock of Nashville.
Visitation is today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Maggie C. Raper
SECTION - Maggie Copeland Raper, 75, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Section Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Fossett officiating.
Burial will be in Section Bluff Cemetery.
Mrs. Raper was a member of the Section Baptist Church and the Beulah Curry Eastern Star.
Survivors include a sister, Bonnie Loman of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

William A. Scruggs
ATHENS - William Austin Scruggs, infant son of Eric and Shelly Scruggs, died Saturday at a Limestone County hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Hardy Cemetery.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of burial.
Other survivors include one sister, Ericka Nichole Scruggs of Athens; his grandparents, James and Reba Adams, Terry and Sharon Scruggs and Carla Scruggs, all of Athens; and his great-grandparents, Louise Hardy and Glenda Kellum, both of Athens, and Sally Adams of Ocala, Fla.

Hollice Shankles
RAINSVILLE - Hollice Shankles, 88, died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church with the Revs. James Grindstaff and Delmar Bethune officiating.
Burial will be in Town Creek Cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Shankles was a charter member and deacon of the Victory Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Shankles; and one daughter, Willodean Brown.
Survivors include two daughters, Jewel Guffey of Rainsville and Reba Beck of Albertville; five sons, Hollice Shankles Jr., Rev. Chester Shankles and Claude Shankles, all of Rainsville, Calvin Shankles of Albertville and Clyde Shankles of Sylvania; and 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Milton Thomas
DECATUR - Elder Milton Thomas, 74, died Friday at an area nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Oakwood College Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor John S. Nixon officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur with Reynolds Funeral Home in charge.
Elder Thomas was a graduate of Oakwood College, New York Theological Seminary and Conwell School of Theology. He was also a veteran of World war II.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Thomas of Decatur; two sons, Dr. Wayne Thomas of Decatur and Milton Thomas of Lithonia, Ga.; one daughter, Jacqueline Latif of Seattle Washington; one brother, Willie Thomas of Los Angeles; two sisters, Lena Fuller of Shreveport, La., and Ruth Alexander of Los Angeles; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Fred F. Thompson
MADISON - Fred F. Thompson, 71, of 347 Capshaw Road died Monday at his home. Madison Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Thompson of Madison; one son, Dale Thompson of Huntsville; three stepdaughters, Ann Sanderson of Huntsville, Janice Morgan of Pinehill and Betty Helton of Grand Bay; two sisters, Velma Morgan and Clara Lee Smith, both of Mobile; and one brother, Sam M. Thompson of Mobile.

Angela G. Tucker
ELKMONT - Angela Gay Tucker, 25, of 21956 J.D. Adams Drive died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Tim Haney officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Tucker was a dental hygienist for Dr. Alan Coleman and Dr. Walter Walker and was a member of Elk River Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Tucker; one daughter, Brittney Tucker of Elkmont; her mother, Gaynell McCutchen of Athens; her father, Robert E. Campbell of Birmingham; one brother, Robert E. Campbell IV of Athens; one stepsister, Charli Haarmann of Potosi, Mo.; and one stepbrother, Del Roberts of Athens.

Wesley A. Tucker
ELKMONT - Wesley Aaron Tucker, age 1, of 21956 J.D. Adams Drive died Saturday at an Athens hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Tim Haney officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include his father, Thomas Wayne Tucker of Elkmont; one sister, Brittney Tucker of Elkmont; grandparents, Robert E. Campbell of Birmingham, Gaynell McCutchen, Tommy Tucker and Ruby Nell Tucker, all of Athens; and great-grandparents, Erskine Thomas Tucker Sr. of Athens, Alvin and Lurline Stringfellow of Moundville and Jean H. Campbell of Birmingham.

Bonnie Yates
FYFFE - Bonnie Yates, 69, died Sunday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at the Rainsville Funeral Home with the Revs. David Hairston, Roger Williams and Hubert Wilborn officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard Yates; two daughters, Vickie Williams and Shelia Lee Hammond, both of Fyffe; two sisters, Nellie Mullins of Trenton, Ga., and Evie Lee McJunkin of Chattanooga; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
